Exploring the Digital Workbook Development for Mind Healing on a Smart Environment (스마트 환경에서의 마음치유용 디지털 워크북 개발을 위한 탐색)

  • Many healing programs regard successful healing as the cure of the presenting physical and emotional problems. To heal present broken heart on a smart environment, we need to know states of mind. We also have to need psychoanalytic healing that cure mind caused. It is necessary to consider a more comprehensive view of healing that incorporates not only physical healing but mental healing. For this, we analyze through retrospective review from existing researches and healing programs. We obtain psychological and emotional factors about negative side effects on a smart environment. Throughout this study we draw upon factors of psychology and emotion to represent pictures by projective methods such as visual representation. That pictures is being used in developing the digital workbook for mind healing. We look at the possibility of psychological therapy from negative side effects causing converts into digital forms which have fixed scales on a smart environment.

An Exploratory Study of the Relationship between Smart Learning and Smart Work: The Use of Personal Laptops by Graduate Students in a Smart Campus Environment (스마트러닝과 스마트워크의 관련성에 대한 탐색적 연구: 스마트 캠퍼스 환경에서 대학원생의 개인 노트북 컴퓨터 사용을 중심으로)

  • The importance of smart learning (SL) has been emphasized in schools. Additionally, the significance of smart work (SW) in improving business performance has gained much attention among industries. From theoretical, technological, and environmental perspectives, SL and SW are somewhat similar. Therefore, a case study was performed to find a way to link SL and SW, and a linking model was proposed for this purpose. Because laptops are considered a pivotal element in the technological aspect of SL, graduate students' use of personal laptops in classes (Bring Your Own Laptop, BYOL) was investigated. The results showed that the students reacted positively to the idea of using personal laptops in class and that they expected to learn IT skills more effectively this way. They listed being able to study even after class and the easy accessibility of relevant data as the strengths of BYOL. However, they cited the heaviness of the laptops and occasional loss of focus during classes as the weaknesses of BYOL. Thus, this study showed the possibility of that students who experience SL can perform better in an SW situation. Therefore, if a policy is enacted that allows students to efficiently use laptops, a greater number of educational achievements will be attained on smart campuses and, subsequently, a greater number of smart workers will be produced.

  • Appearance and rapid growth of the social network services (SNS) have led to changes in the distribution structure of information. Consumers can obtain various information quickly via the social network services and companies make use of a new advertising channel in them. In order to increase the effect of publicity activities through the social network services, development and application of public relations strategy by evaluating and analyzing the results of the activities is required. In this paper, a method for developing a low cost system to evaluate and analyze the results of public relations through the social networks is proposed. The proposed method was verified through building and running a demo system to collect and analyze data in the Facebook fan pages using MySQL database and PHP script on a Linux server.

  • In the era of big data, algorithms for the existing IT environment cannot accept on a distributed architecture such as hadoop. Thus, new distributed algorithms which apply a distributed framework such as MapReduce are needed. Lloyd's algorithm commonly used for vector quantization is developed using MapReduce recently. In this paper, we proposed a decombined distributed VQ codebook generation algorithm based on a distributed VQ codebook generation algorithm using MapReduce to get a result more fast. The result of applying the proposed algorithm to big data showed higher performance than the conventional method.

  • In a digital environment that is keep in change content from smart phones to tablet PC are a social network service is holding deep place in our lives. Social networking applications has building a network and communication with others than other application, it means that Social networking applications are sharing not only personal purpose in that trend of variety and competition of these social networks can be expected to trend and be developed thru analysis of user certification. this study of social network service application is proposed to developing of application thru analyze the two-effective application which is high ranked in google store. the theoretical foundation was set based on the seven elements of the social network service of the information structures designed by Jean Smith. This study proceeded analysis is for the functional elements of Facebook and Instagram, and the advantages and disadvantages through survey research. As a result of the empirical analysis to user of Instagram and face book of communication, identity, satisfaction for the group are equally. Instagram is about the presence, reputation, and Facebook has had a high level of satisfaction for each sharing and relationship. Facebook got high satisfaction from sharing features, but user feel of discomfort in the randomly showing advertising content. Instagram is not showing off advertise on common page of content, it is good point to be complementary to facebook. And, Instagram hashtag is good for convenience, but satisfaction is high with Facebook. in order to increase the satisfaction of Instagram, it is necessary to consider the main advantage of the communication and the functional aspects of the share from facebook.

  • Rapid growth of internet utilization consequences in an expansion of individual's social networks via SNS. Recently, Facebook has added six different emotion buttons reflecting suggestions claiming that "Like" button is limited, and thus must be improved. Regarding to how well newly updated six different emotion buttons were utilized, a survey that inquires the usefulness and usability of buttons for further improvement in service was conducted to 35 Facebook users of 20's and 30's, the most active ages with frequent usages. As a result, users responded with negative attitudes considering expression of six different emotions in Facebook, and exhibited less frequent usages of the service. According to respondents, the emotion expression service would lead better approachability if Facebook suggests simpler emotion expression, for example, two emotion buttons rather than current six buttons.

  • 최근 디지털 방송 서비스가 본격화가 이루어짐에 따라 디지털 콘텐츠는 기하급수적으로 늘어나고 있다. 또한 방송통신 융합 환경은 기존 셋탑 박스와 같은 방송 전용 단말기와 PC, 노트북, PDA와 같은 인터넷 단말기기, 그리고 모바일 폰과 같은 통신기기 사이의 벽을 허물고 있다. IPTV, SmartTV 시대의 도래로 방송통신 제공자의 양방향성 콘텐츠의 제공 및 상호연동 서비스의 제공은 중요한 이슈가 되었다. 이에 따라 다양한 단말기를 이용해 N-Screen이 가능하도록 방송통신 융합 서비스를 제공하고, 이를 위한 여러 콘텐츠 제작이 활발히 일어나고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 양방향성과 상호운용성을 높이기 위한 하나의 방법으로, 방송통신 융합서비스를 인터넷에 의한 전송과 방송 셋탑에 의한 전송에 있어서 상호 동일한 콘텐츠의 통일성을 유지하여 관리가 쉽도록 하는 Scalable Application Framework를 이용하였고 이를 실제 멀티미디어 모바일 단말기기에 적용하고 구현하였다. 이를 통해 앞으로 스마트 방송 시대에 대비할 수 있는 시스템의 대안을 제안하고자 한다. MPEG-21의 DID를 기초로 하여 SADL(Scalable Application Description Language)를 정의하고 이를 이용한 다양한 프레임워크 모델 중 일부인 멀티미디어 모바일 단말기기에 적용하여 이를 활용하는 방안에 대해 논의한다.

Applying In-Page Logging to SQLite DBMS (SQLite DBMS에 IPL 기법 응용)

  • Flash memory has been widely used in mobile devices, such as mobile phone and digital camera. Recently flash SSD(Solid State Disk), having same interface of the disk drive, is replacing the hard disk of some laptop computers. However, flash memory still cannot be considered as the storage of database systems. The FTL(Flash Translation Layer) of commercial flash SSD, making flash memory operate exactly same as a hard disk, shows poor performance on the workload of databases with many random overwrites. Recently In-Page Logging(IPL) approach was proposed to solve this problem. In this paper, we implement IPL approach on SQLite, a popular open source embedded DBMS, and evaluate its performance. It improves the performance by up to 30 factors for update queries.

  • 블루투스란 근거리에 놓여 있는 컴퓨터와 이동단말기 가전제품 등을 무선으로 연결하여 쌍방향으로 실시간 통신을 가능하게 해주는 규격을 말하거나 그 규격에 맞는 제품을 이르는 말이다. 가정 및 사무실에서 사용되는 모든 정보기기에 장착되는 것을 목표로 무선망을 구성하여 어떠한 유/무선망과도 연동할 수 있게 한다. 따라서, 블루투스를 이용한 무선 네트워크가 완성되면 모든 정보기기간의 자유로운 데이터 교환이 이루어지며, 인터넷 브리지를 구성하면 현재 광케이블이나 ADSL, 모뎀 등을 통해 데스크탑 컴퓨터에 도달해 있는 인터넷 정보가 비로소 사용자의 손안에까지 도달할 수 있게 된다. 즉, 무선통신의 궁극적인 목표인 언제, 어디서나, 누구나, 어떤 형태의 정보도 교환한다는 목표에 대한 완성으로까지 볼 수 있다. 미국 시장조사 회사 가트너의 "블루투스 시장의 3단계 발전 전망"이라는 보고서에 따르면, 첫 단계에서는 어댑터 카드나 USB 단자 부착 PC, 고기능 휴대폰 등에 채택되고, 두 번째 단계에는 저가의 Mobile 제품, 무선전화, 개인휴대단말기, 가정용 네트워킹기기, 자동차 등으로 블루투스 탑재기기가 크게 증가할 것이고, 세 번째 단계에는 거의 모든 휴대기기에 채택되어 시장규모가 확대될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 블루투스는 현재 휴대폰, 노트북 컴퓨터, 디지털카메라, 휴대 게임기 등 휴대기기 제조업체는 물론 자동차 제조업체 등 전자, 정보홍신 이외 기업의 지지도 받고 있다.
