In this study, in order to derive the priority of indicators and sustainability areas of smart ports, which means ports in the digital era, previous studies and ESG, which have recently been indispensably introduced in all industries worldwide, were studied together. A hierarchical structure was established with upper evaluation items and 20 lower evaluation items in four areas (operational, environmental, social, and governance), and a relative evaluation method of weighting items among the AHP techniques was applied. The pairwise comparison questionnaire consisted of a 9-point scale proposed by Satty (1980). A survey was conducted targeting working-level workers who perform sustainability or ESG(Environmental, Social, Governance)-related work at four representative port authorities in Korea (Busan, Incheon, Ulsan, Yeosu Gwangyang). In order to increase the accuracy of the analysis results, AHP analysis was conducted on 17 questionnaires with a consistency ratio of 0.1 or less. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that among the four areas representing the sustainability of domestic smart ports, the operation area had the highest priority, followed by the environment area. In addition, looking at the overall priorities for the 20 detailed indicators, indicators such as operational efficiency, operational planning, energy management, and pollution measurement and management system were found to have high priority. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the social and the governance areas had relatively low importance compared to other areas.

In this paper, we propose a digital transceiver that can overcome the problems which current analog transceivers have. For the proposed transceiver, we assumed a frequency resource that consists of discrete and narrow channels. We also assumed that person-to-group, group-to-group, as well as person-to-person, voice and data communications with moderate security should be devisedand the data rate is 1 Mbps with simultaneous voice and data. Frequency hewing spread spectrum (FH-SS) and differential 8-PSK (D8PSK) were adopted for security reasons and bandwidth constraints, and for the reduction of implementation complexity, respectively. For the carrier and the symbol timing recovery, the structure of the preamble was proposed based on the IEEE 802.11 FHSS frame format to improve detection probability. The computer simulation results and power budget analysis implies that the proposed system can be usedin simple wireless communications in place of such as analog walkie-talkies.

The current technological revolution pushes forward the innovation in the library information systems. This study proposes functional requirements and an architectural reference model of Semantic Library, recognized as a prototype of next-generation library information systems, that is a seamless convergence of the library information systems and the Internet technologies. Semantic Library can realize semantic interoperability and integration based on ontology and metadata, and also renovate information services for users with openness, sharing, participation and collaboration. Semantic Library will be effectively implemented by means of service-oriented architecture and the logical structure of FRBR. In this study, a reference model of Semantic Library consisting of 6 horizontal layers and 3 vertical elements is presented as a next-generation model of library information systems.

Recently with the rapid development of data communication products and service industry, the system on behalf of users for multimedia services such as VoD(Video on Demand), Teleshopping are at the height of development, However, if the new style products and services do not conform to the international standard, the products will come to lose the competitive power in the market. Therefore, it is essential to have conformance testing considered the properties of related protocol for the interoperability of the products and services. As a systematic and efficient conformance testing method of new products in respect of the main protocol of DAVIC(Digital Audio Visual Council) standard, this paper presents the protocol test methodology and architecture ; a single protocol stack an the related protocol stacks testing.

The age of digital content mainstream consumers in the era of smart technology is expanding compared to the past. Consumers are taking a leading role in the production and distribution of contents in various forms. At the center of this is a post-modern social structure and space that break down the boundaries among Personal Digital Device, contents, production and consumption as a medium. Content rejects the existence of the same thing in the world. The tendency of the main consumer segment and the provision of post modern storytelling that penetrates it creates a huge industry group with various forms of contents. In order to carry out this study, with analyzing examples of movies, games, and advertisements, we found the fact that the center of content creation for individuals made their unique style, excluding generality. As a result of this research, the relationship between the user-driven digital contents and post modern storytelling have been revised the awareness about the possibility of various convergence in the field of contents production.

In Semantic Web, metadata and ontology for representing semantics and conceptual relationships of information resources are essential factors. RDF and RDF Schema are W3C standard models for describing metadata and ontology. Therefore, many studies to store and retrieve RDF and RDF Schema documents are required. In this paper, we focus on some results of analyzing available query patterns considering both RDF and RDF Schema and classify queries on RDF and RDF Schema into the three patterns. RDF and RDF Schema can be represented as graph models. So, we proposed some strategies to store and retrieve using the graph models of RDF and RDF Schema. We can retrieve entities that can be arrived from a certain class or property in RDF and RDF Schema without a loss of performance on account of multiple joins with tables.

In this study, we examine the relationship between shared leadership and innovation behaviors of the members, and try to understand what moderate effect trust in these relationships. To do this, we set up research models and hypotheses that shared leadership will influence innovative behavior through literature review. We also added the moderating effect of Trust on the relationship between these variables. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted for corporate member in Daegu and Kyungbuk area. Multiple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted to test hypotheses. As a result, Shared leadership has a significant effect on innovation behavior. In particular, trust among members has been shown to regulate the relationship between shared leadership and innovation behavior. The results of this study will be applied to the strategic human resources management of major organizations.

Many watermarking methods for protecting the intellectual property right and authentication multimedia data have been proposed in recent years. In image authentication watermarking, watermark is inserted into an image to detect any malicious alteration. So, watermark for authentication and integrity should be erased easily when the image is changed by scaling or cropping etc. We propose in this paper a fragile watermarking algorithm for image integrity verification and tamper localization proofing using special hierarchical structure. In the proposed method, the image to be watermarked is divided into blocks in a multi-level hierarchy and calculating block digital signatures in thus hierarchy. At each level of the hierarchy, a digital signature for each block is calculated using the seven most significant bit(MSBs)-plane values of all pixels within the block. And the resulting signature is incorporated into the LSBs of selected pixels within the block. We provide experimental results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In these days mobile handsets have come to be used at almost every user. The performance improvement of mobile devices and networks have made this trend possible. As a great variety of mobile applications are published, the necessity of running large-scale mobile applications becomes greater than before. To accomplish this, the existing researchers have developed mobile cluster computing libraries like Mobile-JPVM. In this paper, we implement a compute-intensive Animated GIF generating application and its cell phone viewer software using Mobile-JPVM library. We find out by the real execution of our softwares on the KTF handsets that they can sufficiently run on cellular phones. Our Animated GIF generator and its viewer are going to be commercially used for the mobile fashion advertisement systems.

U-Healthcare is one of the major applications in ubiquitous sensor network. U-Healthcare has potential to become a critical service for the people who immediately require emergency ambulatory attention. This paper describes about the real time pulse monitoring and reporting system, consisting of two components: thus, the one is a reliable bio-sensor that continuously monitors the pulse information of the subject, and the other is the automatic transfer system that transmits pulse information to both his/her family and hospital care system through the Base Station. In the hospital, this bio-information can be used to treat the patient accordingly. I designed the pulse information monitored by a bio-sensor module that transfers the pulse information to both the Base Station and the central monitoring system through transmitting protocols such as Zigbee and TCP/IP, as well as designed the architecture of information packets for the corresponding protocols. Furthermore, the central monitoring system automatically parses the pulse information of the subject into the web database server, which can continuously provides the real time information and status of the subject via an internet browser to the clients who are family members of the subject and the authenticated medical care personnel as well.
