A Study on Restoration and Utilization of Recorded Archaeological Data (기록화된 고고자료의 복원과 활용방안에 대한 연구)

  • The restoration of archaeological data was carried out using photographs and drawings left as past records. It can be divided into ruins and artifacts. The restoration of the ruins was performed by modeling the individual parts and parts left by the photographs, aligning them and synthesizing them, and reconstructing them three-dimensionally as one object. Restoration of artifacts was performed on both photographs and drawings. After the modeling work is prioritized through the photographs, there is a method of restoring the original image by modifying the texture image of the damaged part of the modeled artifact, or restoring the original image by modeling and synthesizing the deleted part in the artifact. The restoration of the artifacts through the drawings was carried out by three - dimensional modeling and reconstruction through real mapping of images. The reconstructed archaeological data can be used in various directions. In particular, it is possible to verify and compare the results of the numerical analysis and interpretation of the past 2D data, and to provide a more accurate analysis plan in the future.

Introduction to System Modeling and Verification of Digital Phase-Locked Loop (디지털 위상고정루프의 시스템 모델링 및 검증 방법 소개)

  • Verilog-HDL-based modeling can be performed to confirm the fast operation characteristics after setting the design parameters of each block considering the stability of the system by performing linear phase-domain modeling on the phase-locked loop. This paper proposed Verilog-HDL modeling including DCO noise and DTC nonlinear characteristic. After completing the modeling, the time-domain transient simulation can be performed to check the feasibility and the functionality of the proposed PLL system, then the phase noise result from the system design based on the functional model can be verified comparing with the ideal phase noise graph. As a result of the comparison of simulation time (6 us), the Verilog-HDL-based modeling method (1.43 second) showed 484 times faster than the analog transistor level design (692 second) implemented by TSMC 0.18-㎛.

  • Established continuous vocabulary recognition system improved recognition rate by using decision tree based tying modeling method. However, since system model cannot support the retrieve of phoneme data, it is hard to secure the accuracy. In order to improve this problem, we remodeled a system that could retrieve probabilistic model from continuous vocabulary clustering model to phoneme unit. Therefore in this paper showed 95.88%of recognition rate in system performance.

  • Recently, many social networking services using mobile devices are spread. Also, many studies based on location and time are increasing. However, existing studies have been difficult to resolve queries by place, time, and events. In the paper, we propose time and space modeling method for social services. We propose Human Activity Graph and Quad Relation Factors through time, place, event, and social activity of users, and we design the database scheme for data collect and analysis.

Physical Modeling of a Sanjo Gayageum (산조 가야금의 물리적 모델링)

  • In this paper we developed the Physical modeling of the Sanio Gayageum using the improved digital waveguide theory. The frequency characteristics of the Gayageum body is implemented by an inverse filtering and the impulse response of the body. We obtained the synthesis sounds of the unit sound for the Gayageum using the simulation of the straight-line fits by the changes of the fundamental frequencies depending on the Amok location. Finally. we could obtain the virtual Sanio Gayageum sounds similar to the actual Gayageum by tuning the Amok positions.

  • In this paper, based on the building's 3D modeling, a digital twin-based building control system using the collection information of wireless sensor box is proposed. The proposed system applies wireless sensors, making sensor modules more expandable and usable, and more intuitive building control possible through three-dimensional modeling. In addition, effective control and visual representation are possible through BIM data. Sensor boxes have been designed for general purpose so that a variety of sensor modules can be added and have been implemented for actual university buildings to demonstrate high availability. The results of this paper could be used to implement a digital twin control platform in the future.

  • Generally, in special effect video and 3D animation design process, character and background's 3D model is built by 3D program like MAYA or 3DS MAX. But in that manual modeling mode, model design needs much time and costs much money. In this paper, two experimental groups are set to prove use 2D photo scan modeling mode to build 3D model is effective and advanced. The first experimental group is modeling the same object by different experimental setting. The second experimental group is modeling the same background by different experimental setting. Through those two experimental groups, we try to find an effective design method and matters need attention when we use photo scan design mode. We aim to get the model from whole experiment and prove photo scan modeling mode is effective and advanced.

  • Recently, digital contents systems have been constructed by means of a Web-based Information Systems(WBIS). However, developers supper from the Web Crisis since there is no systematic methodology for development and maintenance of the WBIS. To partially cope with the problem, we propose web-based business process and navigation modeling methods for efficient restructuring of a WBIS. A Business Process Net model is the business process model. Additionally, system structure model, state transition model, and user interaction model are the navigation models. These models might be useful for development and restructuring of a WBIS which includes digital contents.

  • In this paper, we propose a digital human content creation system. The digital human content creation system works with 3D AI modeling through whole-body scanning, and is produced with 3D modeling post-processing, texturing, rigging. By combining this with virtual reality(VR) content information, natural motion of the virtual model can be achieved in virtual reality, and digital human content can be efficiently created in one system. Therefore, there is an effect of enabling the creation of virtual reality-based digital human content that minimizes resources. In addition, it is intended to provide an automated pre-processing process that does not require a pre-processing process for 3D modeling and texturing by humans, and to provide a technology for efficiently managing various digital human contents. In particular, since the pre-processing process such as 3D modeling and texturing to construct a virtual model are automatically performed by artificial intelligence, so it has the advantage that rapid and efficient virtual model configuration can be achieved. In addition, it has the advantage of being able to easily organize and manage digital human contents through signature motion.

  • The digital modeling process is visualization of designer's specific intension in digital virtual space by constructing computer and information system that fits the designer's intension and morphological characteristic of the space that to be modeled. Digital Modeling Process has been brought to attention for it's design efficiency and potentialities as new creative tool. The effect of DMP, in spacial design process has been grown from simply providing a ways to visualize designer's idea toward utilizing modeling data for real construction which includes architectural and constructional material. The purpose of this study is to find optimal methodological answers to spatial design process that is improved and specialized due to rapid improvement of digital media.
