Control of Crane Systems by a Digital Redesign Method (디지탈재설계법에 의한 크레인계의 제어)

  • An algorithm of transforming continuous-time state feedback gains into equivalent discrete-time feedback gains or vice versa is proposed using bilinear transformation. The proposed method is evaluated experimentally by an application control of a mobile crane system which is implemented by 16bits micro computer with A/D and D/A converters. It has been shown from the experimental result that the transformed feedback gains are virtually identical to the optimal discrete gain over range of significant sampling time. Since the transformed matrix is composed by a distinct relationship between continuous-time gain and discrete-time gain, it is noted that the proposed method can be regarded as an explicit gain transformation method compared to the other methods using series expansion.

  • 본 논문에서는 IC 카드를 선지불카드로 사용하기 위하여, 카드 내의 데이타를 안전하게 보호할 수 있는 새로운 메카니즘이 제안되었다. 이 메카니즘에서는, 데이타 메모리가 OTPROM 영역과 EEPROM 영역으로 구분되고, 각 영역의 데이타는 논리적으로 서로 연동되게 설계되었다. 그리고 OTPROM영역으로 되어 있는 특정영역에 대해서는 접근제어와 물리적 안전성이 제공되어 재사용 하는 것과 오류를 자동정정하는 것이 가능하다. 이 카드는 디지탈 서명 알고리듬을 사용하여 인증을 받은 사람에 의해서만 발급될 수 있다. 그리고 일반 사용자는 인증과정을 수행하지 않으므로 사용이 간편하다.

  • This paper deals with the analysis of the unintentional radiation from the TDX-1B subscriber Board. According to the demand of digital systems and developement of high speed switching devices, electro- magnetic noise intensity and it's bandwidth occupancy in spectrum are increasing and so there is a serious possibility causing the various EMI phenomena. More accurate radiation model was established by using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) analysis, and the EMI probabilistic analysis of the digital switching system was performed. For validating the proposed model and its calculated results, on-promises test was performed and compared with the calculated results. These results may be applicable to be used for EMI model in large digital system, and prediction of EMI effect from a large digital system, and the EMI control design when designing digital system to meet inter- national EMI regulation.

  • A new digital redesign method which can construct a digital controller for multiple linear systems is developed. The proposed method utilized the recently developed LMI theory to obtain a single digital controller which provide good state matching properties with multiple linear systems. A numerical example is provided to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed approach.

  • This paper presents a simple and new digital redesign algorithm for fussy-model-based controllers. In the first stage, a continuous-time TS fuzzy model is constructed for a given continuous-time nonlinear system and a corresponding continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller is established based on the existing controller synthesis algorithms. In the second stage, the continuous-time fuzzy-model-based controller is converted to equivalent discrete-time fuzzy-model-based controller, aiming at maintaining the property of the analogue controlled system, which are called intelligent digital redesign. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the digital control of inverted pendulum system to shows the effectiveness and the feasibility of the method.

  • 현재 운용되고 있는 대부분의 MHS는 송신자가 수신자에게 메세지를 전달하는 과정에서 적절한 보안서비스를 제공하지 못하고 있기 때문에 민감하거나 비밀스런 자료에 적합하지 못하며, 특히 여러 사람이 문서에 서명을 해야 하는데는 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 네트워크상에서 송신자의 신분인증과 메세지 인증 뿐만 아니라 전자문서를 일반문서와 같이 처리할 수 있는 디지털 다중서명을 MHS에서 구현할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

A Study on a Testability Evaluation Method for the Digital System (디지털 시스템의 히로측정 평가방식에 관한 연구)

  • This paper deals with the testability evaluation method for the digital systems. This method uses two factors: the complexity and the accessibility. The complexity depends on the ratio in combinational and sequential circuits, number of input/output terminals, and the circuit count by using the gate input level method. The accessibility is how easily to handle the data from I/O terminals. The system testability has a normalized value. Thus, analyzing the testability evaluation, and redesigning the circuit to improve testability, the systems increase interests for the maintenance and have high reliability. Finally, in comparison with Stephenson and Grason's technique, this technique gives sufficiently accurate results for much less computation effort.

  • Practical controllers of industrial systems are usually designed and realized in continuous time domain. However, due to the programmable and flexible nature of digital computers and the speed and stability superioity of digital components over analog ones, it seems more effective to adapt digital controllers. When an existing analog controller performs satisfactory, it is often advantageous to use the digital redesign techinque to obtain an equlivalent digital controller which substitutes the analog one. One method of the digital redesign is to use a periodic gain. This method gives a riffle effect on the steady state response, although it's transient response is satisfactory. This paper suggests a method which eliminates or deminishes periodic ripples generated by the periodic function.

  • In this paper, a mechanism to enhance the utilization of the tertiary storage devices such as optical disk, digital tape and so on is proposed. For this purpose, we suggest a storage structure with a CD-ROM and multiple disk and design an efficient mechanism to represent the continuous media stored in CD-ROM. The continuous media storage structure proposed in this pater can enhanced the retrieval capability of information by sending data using a shared bus with high bandwidth. And a continuous media representation mechanism not only can reduce the discontinuity of representation using parallel operation of fetch and representation but also minimize the variance of service time and the missing ratio of re-reference requirement by residing frequently accessed object on the disk.
