  • 본 연구는 차량 동역학이 적용된 자율주행 시뮬레이터에서 구현된 차량의 거동이 실제 차량과 유사한지 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 실제 차량모델에 외력을 가할 수 있는 기구를 개발하여 데이터를 획득하고 분석하고자 한다. 시뮬레이터에서 구현된 차량과 유사한 서스펜션 구조를 가진 차량 모델을 만들고 센서를 달아 차량의 운동 모델을 모사했으며, 캠과 감속기어를 활용해 외력을 모사하기 위한 기구를 제작하였다.

  • In order to realize the empathy of the local education community, the education local government should establish the brand design properly in accordance with the enterprise and the large-scale administrative agency and actively use it in the public design strategy and publicity strategy. And the identity and role of education local government that are differentiated from each other can be well communicated and help to achieve the vision. However, the development and utilization of brand design in the provincial education local government is sluggish. In this context, research on urban brand has been carried out variously, but there is no comprehensive analysis on change of education local government brand. The purpose of this research is to analyze the current characteristics of brand design in education local government in order to enhance the image of education direction and to enhance the brand value of education local government.

A Study on the User Analysis and Design Improvement Direction of Kiosks (국내 키오스크의 사용자 분석과 디자인 개선 방향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the direction of improving kiosk design for convenient use by all users by increasing the usability of kiosks based on universal design principles. The direction of design improvement was studied by deriving essential improvements through additional surveys verifying the results of age-specific surveys and analysis related to the use of kiosks. The results of the study are as follows. High contrast between kiosk screen background and design elements, yellow color, and outline design elements increase readability. Then, reduce and enlarge the font based on 10pt. In addition, in consideration of wheelchair passengers, the area where the lower part cannot be designed and the minimum height of adjusting the height of the kiosk were derived. In the future, kiosk design requires a design and system that can diversify the functions of kiosks according to individual characteristics, and design should be focused on the application of universal design. Since this study has limited research subjects, further studies on various samples are required, and verification studies related to color and readability will also be conducted.

A Generative Design Algorithm to Generate 3D shapes Using 2D Images (2차원 이미지로 3차원 형태를 생성하는 생성적 디자인 알고리듬)

  • In generative design computer automatically and quickly generates many alternative design solutions, and the computer algorithms which perform the design tasks are important. The main purpose of this study is to propose a computer algorithm which generates three-dimensional shapes from a two-dimensional digital image such as a photograph or a painting. The base geometry of the final shape is a cylinder or sphere. A surface of the cylinder or sphere is deformed depending on the used image. The proposed algorithm was implemented as a computer program, and the program tested with several famous paintings. The algorithm and results presented in this study implicate the possibilities of the generative design which generates three-dimensional shapes from two-dimensional images. It is necessary to find and measure the values of the generated shape, and it will be a future research to find the relations of emotional and cognitive aspects between the input images and the generated shapes. Those studies are expected to expand the possibilities of generative design.

  • 본 연구의 제 2보에서는 꽃문양 스카프 디자인의 레이아웃 변인에 따른 소비자 감성을 분석하였던 제 1보의 내용을 검증하고, 이러한 결과를 토대로 하여 꽃문양 스카프 디자인을 위한 지침과 디자인 프로토타입을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 꽃문양 스카프 디자인에 있어 레이아웃 기법 전개에 관련된 감성 지표를 얻음으로써 사변적 또는 미학적 접근이 주류를 이루었던 기존의 스카프 디자인 연구 분야에 새로운 감성과학적 접근방법을 모색하였다.

A Strategy for Validation in Preliminary Design Stage using The Simulation of Model Behavior (모델 행동 양식의 시뮬레이션을 이용한 초기 디자인 검증 방법)

  • Most part of errors in software development process are included during the stage of requirements definition and design. And correction or elimination of errors from those stages requires much more efforts and costs than those from the later part of software development process. However, despite of the importance of the validation of requirement definition and design stages, several kinds of problem have made it hard to be done successfully. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce a novel validation process for the preliminary design stage. The validation process is based on simulations of model and it can be used to validate requirements and model simultaneously. Models in the validation process will take only the behavior of software and be built on Ptolemy framework. The usability of our validation process is confirmed with a case study over DNS system environment. And the result of simulation shows well-known errors or vulnerabilities can be found with simulations of model which has the behavior of software. This means our validation process can be used as a process to validate requirements and models during the early stage of software development process.

A Study on the Typicality and Preference according to Determinants of Typicality (전형성 결정요인에 따른 전형성과 선호도 연구)

  • This study investigated the influence of ideals(goal-directed design attributes) and physical common features on typicality of product design and the relationship between typicality and preference that suggested different result in prior research. So for these objectives we explored the relationship between typicality and preference with two dimensions composed of goal-directed attribute typicality and physical common features typicality. The result showed that consumers' judgment of typicality on product design was increased as the product design has ideals. This was a same result as the prior research. In addition, Increasing the physical common feature with other members in product category, consumers judged that the product design is typical. Otherwise, in results of the relationship between typicality and preference were showed that the design of ideals(goal-directed design attributes) influenced on preference positively, but the design of physical common features had an inverted U-shaped.

A Study on Web Accessibility Status of Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education from the Universal Design View (유니버설 디자인 관점에서 본 국내 시도 교육청의 웹 접근성 실태에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the enforcement of a law about disability nondiscrimination and rights protection in 2008, the web accessibility has become an obligation. According to a survey targeting public sectors such as central administrative organization, local autonomous entity and etc., the level of compliance with web accessibility appeared to be improved every year. However, such legal mechanism focuses on the improvement of convenience for disabled people only and does not meet the concept of universal design that aims to satisfy every user. Therefore, this study verifies the status of web accessibility on 17 homepages of metropolitan and provincial offices of education. The status survey was carried out with 3 steps: 1) Verification through automated verification tool by National Information Society Agency, 2) Verification through Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(UD-WCAG) that adopts the concept of universal design, 3) Verification by using screen reader. Compared to the verification through automated verification tool, the overall compliance rate verified through UD-WCAG was reported lower.

  • This research was carried with emphasis on the technical contents of lighting design which had various knowledge system in the educational viewpoint. First of all, phisiolosical and physical factors were considered with the process of vision between human and light. Next, components of attributes in the lighting fixture were prescribed to analyze concept of the fixture. Finally, I proposed educational program in the instruction to meet the purpose of this research. As a result, in overall research concerning the basic direction and structure, instruction should have balance to reconcile theory and practice about lighting. Second, in terms of expansion of cognition about lighting, experimental education that is considered with interface is needed to make practical verification through relationship with man-made environment and scientific data.
