사용자의 다양한 요구사항에 따른 소프트웨어 구조의 방대함과 복잡함으로 인하여 소프트웨어 부품을 재사용 하는 방식의 컴포넌트 개발 방법이 최근 각광을 받고 있다. 이런 추세에 맞추어 IBM, SUN, 한국2전자통신연구원 등의 여러 기관에서 공용 컴포넌트 개발, 컴포넌트 생성 및 조립기술, 컴포넌트 시험 및 품질평가 기술, 컴포넌트 유통기술 등의 컴포넌트 관련 기술 사업을 추진 중에 있다. 특히 특정 영역에서 공통으로 사용될 수 있는 공용 컴포넌트를 개발하여 공용 컴포넌트 은행에 저장하고, 컴포넌트 사용의 공영 체제를 구축하는 것은 급변하는 사용자의 요구에 따른 소프트웨어 시장 변화에 신속하게 대처할 수 있는 중요한 방안이라 할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 EJB(Java Enterprise Beans)컴포넌트 은행 구축 시 사용자의 요구사항에 적합한 컴포넌트를 선택하고 해당 컴포넌트에 대한 올바른 이해를 돕는데 중요한 확장된 EJB 컴포넌트 명세를 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 과학기술문서에 존재하는 기술용어와 이들 간의 연관관계를 설명하는 디스크립터를 찾아서 [subject predicate object] 형태의 트리플을 생성하는 애플리케이션을 개발할 때 발생하는 단어 의미 애매성 해소 문제를 다룬다. 기술용어가 가지고 있는 연관관계를 결정하기 위해서 워드넷의 신셋 정보를 사용하는데 이 방법은 동사를 워드넷에 매핑할 때와 상위어 관계로 전이할 때 여러 개의 의미에 매핑되는 문제점이 발생한다. 이것을 해결하기 위해서 상위어 시퀀스 클러스터링을 이용한 단어의 의미 애매성 해결 방안을 제시한다. 이 방법을 사용함으로써 워드넷 매핑과 상위어 전이 시에 발생하는 다중 매핑 문제를 동시에 해결할 수 있다.

인공지능과 디지털 변환의 추세가 소매업계에서 온라인으로의 전환을 가속화하고 있다. 이러한 변화에 부응하여 본 논문에서는 O2O(Online-to-Offline) 상점을 위한 상품명 인식 기술을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 이미지 내 특징점과 이들 주변의 픽셀 정보를 포함하는 특징 디스크립터를 활용하여 상품 이미지와 진열대 사진을 비교하는 것에 초점을 맞춘다. 사용된 주요 알고리즘은 SURF와 BFMatcher, KnnMatch 방법으로, 이들은 각각 이미지의 특징점을 탐지하고 매칭하는 데 사용된다. 실험을 통해 적절한 임계값을 설정하여 높은 신뢰도의 매칭 결과를 선별하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 이를 통해 O2O 상점에서 상품 관리와 인식을 향상시키는 데 기여할 수 있다.

파노라마 영상은 카메라 시야각의 제한을 극복하여 넓은 시야를 가질 수 있으므로 컴퓨터 비전, 스테레오 카메라 등의 분야에서 효율적으로 연구되고 있다. 파노라마 영상을 생성하기 위해서는 영상 스티칭 기술이 필요하다. 영상 스티칭 기술은 여러 영상에서 추출한 특징점의 디스크립터를 생성하고, 특징점들 간의 유사도를 비교하여 영상들을 이어 붙여 큰 하나의 영상으로 만드는 것이다. 각각의 특징점은 수십 수백차원의 정보를 가지고 있고, 스티칭 할 영상이 많아질수록 데이터 처리 시간이 증가하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결 하기 위해서 전처리 과정으로 겹치는 영역이 많을 것이라고 예상되는 영상들을 그룹화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 카메라 센서 정보를 기반으로 영상들을 미리 그룹화 하여 한 번에 스티칭 할 영상의 수를 줄임으로써 데이터 처리 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 후에 계층적으로 스티칭 하여 하나의 큰 파노라마를 만든다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 방법이 기존의 스티칭 처리 시간 보다 짧아진 것을 검증하였다.

For the guarantee of retrieval ratio, thesaurus's maintenance for descriptors are necessary. To maintain the optimum scale of thesaurus, new terms and existing terms should be structured to the equivalence relationship. Therefore, equivalence relationships are needed to new standard. This study proposes new standard of the equivalence relationships, which is more specified for better guarantee of retrieval ratios. The relationships have seven facets. These six facets will be used as new knowledge-base, which could be reestablished between the descriptors.

The purpose of this study is to present solutions to expanding added-term relations which will fit new information retrieval environment. This report reviews standards for ISO 2788 and ANSI/NISO Z 39.19, and compares and analyzes 20 thesaurus added-term relations currently used to find out problems and limitations. Based on findings of the study, this report suggests how to expand thesaurus added-term relations to accomodate changes in information retrieval environment. In order to solve those problems, this report presents solutions to expanding added-term relationships as follows: First, definition was separated from scope note and scope note is categorized by type. Second, principles for the use of qualifiers are presented. Third, principles for expanding of descriptor term information are presented.

로봇이 어떤 물체를 인지하고 그 물체에 대해 어떤 작업을 하고자 할 때 특정 물체의 인식 문제, 3차원 정보를 획득하는 문제, 자세를 추정하는 문제 등 해결해야 될 문제들이 있다. 물체를 인식하는 과정에서는 주위 배경과 물체의 크기의 변화, 회전, 가려짐 등으로 인해 물체 인식을 어렵게 만드는 요소들이 있다. 2차원 이미지를 통해 3차원 정보를 추출하는 과정은 일반적으로 두 대의 카메라를 이용하여 스테레오 이미지를 통해 얻는다. 이 때 좌우 영상간의 매칭의 과정이 필요하다. 자세 추정의 문제는 카메라 좌표와 물체의 좌표간의 관계를 알아야 한다. Visual Servoing을 어렵게 만드는 많은 요인들이 있으며 본 논문에서는 물체의 크기, 회전, 이동에 불변인 디스크립터(descriptor)를 사용하는 SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform)를 통해 3차원 물체의 인식과 자세를 추정하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 자세 추정을 위해 2차원 Keypoint들의 매칭을 3차원 정보를 통해 검증하는 방법을 제시한다. (SIFT에 의해 추출된 point를 Keypoint라 명한다.)

This paper considers a simultaneous optimization problem of structure and control systems. The problem is generally formulated as a non-convex optimization problem for the design parameters of mechanical structure and controller. Therefore, it is not easy to obtain the global solutions for practical problems. In this paper, we parameterize all design parameters of the mechanical structure such that the parameters work in the control system as decentralized static output feedback gains. Using this parameterization, we have formulated a simultaneous optimization problem in which the design specification is defined by the Η$_2$and Η$\_$$\infty$/ norms of the closed loop transfer function. So as to lead to a convex problem we approximate the nonlinear terms of design parameters to the linear terms. Then, we propose a convex optimization method that is based on linear matrix inequality (LMI). Using this method, we can surely obtain suboptimal solution for the design specification. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate search efficiency of controlled vocabulary versus uncontrolled vocabulary subject access in online catalog systems. The question of the effectiveness of controlled versus uncontrolled vocabulary in information retrieval has been raised in many literatures. A debate continues in the Library and Information Science Professions over the relative merit, appropriateness, and efficiency of uncontrolled vocabulary subject access in online catalog systems. Actually users used to combine uncontrolled vocabulary subject searching with controlled vocabulary subject searching. But the success of user's subject search depends on his choice of search terms. Also the technical developments that facilitate cooperation among information services in general make it increasingly possible for such cooperation to take place on an international level. In this study, several common types of vocabularies on online catalog systems are described and compared, especially usages of vocabularies in multilingual environment are analyzed.

The descriptor system model has a high ability in representing dynamical systems. It can preserve physical parameters in the coefficient matrices, and describe the dynamic part, static part, and even the improper part of the system in the same form. The design of mixed $H_{2}/H_{\infty}$ controllers for linear time-invariant descriptor systems is considered in this paper. Firstly, an $H_2$ and $H_{\infty}$ synthesis problems fur a descriptor system are presented separately in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based on the bounded real lemma. Then, we show that the existence of a mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ controller by which the $H_2$ norm of the second channel is minimized while keeping the $H_2$ norm bound of the first channel less than ${\gamma}$, is reduced to the linear objective minimization problem. The class of desired controllers that are assumed to have the same structure as the plant is parameterized by using the linearizing change of variables.
