  • 본 연구는 개인 맞춤형 요가 동작 추천 시스템을 개발하여 사용자의 요가 경험과 목표에 맞는 동작을 추천하고 실시간 자세 교정을 지원하는 것을 목표로 한다. 미디어 파이프와 서포트 벡터 머신(SVM) 알고리즘을 활용하여 사용자의 신체 관절 포인트를 실시간으로 추적하고, 이를 통해 정확한 자세 분석과 피드백을 제공한다. 해당 웹서비스의 데이터베이스는 Supabase를 통해 운영되어 사용자의 정보와 설문 조사 결과를 저장하며, Python Flask를 기반으로 한 백엔드 시스템으로 효율적인 데이터 처리와 API 연동이 가능하다. HTML, CSS, JavaScript를 사용한 프론트엔드 개발로 사용자에게 직관적인 인터페이스를 제공하였다.

The Study on Dynamic Images Processing for Finger Languages (지화 인식을 위한 동영상 처리에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we realized a system that receives the dynamic images of finger languages, which is the method of intention transmission of the hearing disabled person, using the white and black CCD camera, and that recognizes the images and converts them to the editable text document. We use the afterimage to draw a sharp line between indistinct images and clear images from a series of inputted images, and get the character alphabet from the away of continuous images and output the accomplished character to the word editor by applying the automata theory. After the system removes the varied wrist part from the data of clean image, it gets the controid point of hand by the maximum circular movement method and recognizes the hand that is necessary to analyze the finger languages by applying the circular pattern vector algorithm. The system abstracts the characteristic vectors of the hand using the distance spectrum from the center of the hand and it compares the characteristic vector of inputted pattern from the standard pattern by applying the fuzzy inference and recognizes the movement of finger languages.

A Wavelet-Based EMG Pattern Recognition with Nonlinear Feature Projection (비선형 특징투영 기법을 이용한 웨이블렛 기반 근전도 패턴인식)

  • This paper proposes a novel approach to recognize nine kinds of motion for a multifunction myoelectric hand, acquiring four channel EMG signals from electrodes placed on the forearm. To analyze EMG with properties of nonstationary signal, time-frequency features are extracted by wavelet packet transform. For dimensionality reduction and nonlinear mapping of the features, we also propose a feature projection composed of PCA and SOFM. The dimensionality reduction by PCA simplifies the structure of the classifier, and reduces processing time for the pattern recognition. The nonlinear mapping by SOFM transforms the PCA-reduced features to a new feature space with high class separability. Finally a multilayer neural network is employed as the pattern classifier. From experimental results, we show that the proposed method enhances the recognition accuracy, and makes it possible to implement a real-time pattern recognition.

Design of Vector Attenuator (벡터 감쇠기의 설계)

  • Magnitude/phase controlling circuit which is composed of attenuator and phase shifter make phase/gain cross-coupling, so too much tuning time is needed to find optimum operation point. In this paper, vector attenuator which control magnitude and phase of input signals is proposed. Vector attenuator in past ignores phase variation characteristics of attenuator, but vector attenuator of this paper compensates phase variation characteristics of attenuator. This vector attenuator consists of 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ phase shifter and low phase shifting attenuator and so forth. A 0$^{\circ}$/180$^{\circ}$ phase shifter has 0$^{\circ}$/179.9$^{\circ}$ phase shifting characteristics at a center frequency 881 MHz and a low phase shifting attenuator has an attenuation of 25dB, within the limit of 3.6$^{\circ}$ phase shift and less than -20dB reflection characteristics at both input and output ports. The designed vector attenuator shows that cartesian coordinate plane of output signal space can be represented correctly.

  • In this paper, a methodology for the automatic design of the optimal systolic arrays is proposed. Algorithm transformation is the main mathematical tool on which this methodology is based. Also, technique for partitioning algorithm into systolic arrays is presented. Algorithm partitioning is essential when the size of the computational problem is larger than the size of the array. This study results in (a) reduction of the design time of systolic arrays for given algorithms, (b) CRT display of the structures of systolic arrays, and (c) automatic designing of the optimal systolic array by the criteria such as the number of processing elements, bands, and communication paths. The procedure for these results was programmed using HP BASIC language on HP-9836 computer.

A New Function Embedding Method for the Multiple-Controlled Unitary Gate based on Literal Switch (리터럴 스위치에 의한 다중제어 유니터리 게이트의 새로운 함수 임베딩 방법)

  • As the quantum gate matrix is a $r^{n+1}{\times}r^{n+1}$ dimension when the radix is r, the number of control state vectors is n, and the number of target state vectors is one, the matrix dimension with increasing n is exponentially increasing. If the number of control state vectors is $2^n$, then the number of $2^n-1$ unit matrix operations preserves the output from the input, and only one can be performed the unitary operation to the target state vector. Therefore, this paper proposes a new method of function embedding that can replace $2^n-1$ times of unit matrix operations with deterministic contribution to matrix dimension by arithmetic power switch of the unitary gate. The proposed function embedding method uses a binary literal switch with a multivalued threshold, so that a general purpose hybrid MCU gate can be realized in a $r{\times}r$ unitary matrix.

  • In this paper, we propose a hi-speed/low-power Extended QRD-RLS(QR-Decomposition Recursive Least Squares) equalizer with systolic array structure. In the conventional systolic array structure, vector mode CORDIC on the boundary cell calculates angle of input vector, and the rotation mode CORDIC on the internal cell rotates vector. But, in the proposed structure, it is shown that implementation complexity can be reduced using the rotation direction of vector mode CORDIC and rotation mode CORDIC. Furthermore, calculation time can be reduced by 1/2 since vector mode and rotation mode CORDIC operate at the same time. Through HDL coding and chip implementation, it is shown that implementation area is reduced by 23.8% compared with one of conventional structure.

Direction-of-Arrival Estimation for the Ring-Type Multimode Vector Hydrophone based on the Pressure Gradient-Acceleration Relationship (압력 구배-가속도 관계를 이용한 링형 다중모드 벡터 하이드로폰에서의 도래각 추정)

  • Conventional hydrophones can only measure acoustic pressure. To measure both acoustic pressure and incident direction, various types of vector hydrophones have been researched. In this paper, we deal with a ring-type multimode vector hydrophone divided into 4 elements and present a direction-of-arrival (DoA) estimation method based on the pressure gradient-acceleration relationship. The performance of the presented method is analyzed by the simulation based on the sensor modeling and is verified by the water tank experiment. The proposed method could work under the multi-frequency condition and may be utilized in many applications due to its low computation complexity.

  • Gauss Sieve is an algorithm for solving SVP and requires exponential time and space complexity. The terminationcondition of the Sieve is determined by the size of the constructed list and the number of collisions related to space complexity. The term 'collision' refers to the state in which the sampled vector is reduced to the vector that is already inthe list. if collisions occur more than a certain number of times, the algorithm terminates. When executing previous algorithms, we noticed that unnecessary operations continued even after the shortest vector was found. This means that the existing termination condition is set larger than necessary. In this paper, after identifying the point where unnecessary operations are repeated, optimization is performed on the number of operations required. The tests are conducted by adjusting the threshold of the collision that becomes the termination condition and the distribution in whichthe sample vector is generated. According to the experiments, the operation that occupies the largest proportion decreased by62.6%. The space and time complexity also decreased by 4.3 and 1.6%, respectively.

Kinematics of Bimanual Complementary Movement in Stroke Patients (뇌졸중 환자에서 양손 보완운동의 운동형상학)

  • The objective of this study was to compare the unimanual and bimanual complementary movements of the affected upper extremity. Thirty participants living in Busan area with post-stroke hemiparesis were involved in this study. They were selected according to twelve criteria. We used the Fitmeter accelerometer to measure Signal Vector Magnitude, peak acceleration and peak deceleration. The movement time and Signal Vector Magnitude of bimanual complementary movement were less than those of unimanual movement(p<0.05). Therefore, we suggest that bimanual complementary movement is more useful, as for the kinematic aspect, than unimanual movement when a person with stroke perform activities of daily living.
