Recently the Northeast Asia region, which includes Korea, China and Japan, has become one of the top three regions for trade and, therefore, is being recognized as a new hub for the global economy. Meanwhile, tourism not only improves the economy, but also enhances mutual understanding through interchange and has cultural functions such as that of the sharing of human values for a bright future. In addition, the promotion of the tourism industry will not only ensure Korea of becoming a hub for the Northeast Asia economy, but it can be a win-win plan that contributes in forming a future Northeast Asian community achieved through peace and prosperity based on the social and cultural connections within the region. Taking the above into consideration, there is a need to carefully scrutinize the status of tourism in Northeast Asia for the management of the future of Korea.

With the implementation of the Northeast Revitalization Strategy, the tourism industry in Heilongjiang Province had an increasingly greater impact on regional economic development. Based on the tourism panel data of Heilongjiang Province from 2005 to 2021, this paper used DEA-BCC and Malmquist Index to analyze the static and dynamic changes of the tourism industry.The results of the study were as follows: (1) Static: The OE value reached strong DEA effectiveness in 2010, 2013, and 2019, indicated that tourism resources had been fully utilized. The SE value changed dramatically between 0.354 and 1, and the PTE value approached 1. OE was mainly affected by SE changes. (2) Dynamic: The total factor productivity (TFP) was overall greater than 1 and grew at an average annual rate of 13.8%. The variation in TFP was primarily influenced by the index of technological progress, indicated that the tourism industry in Heilongjiang Province made full use of technology for resource development, with a relatively high level of development efficiency. Therefore, the future focus of Heilongjiang Province's tourism industry will be on adjustments in industrial scale, technological innovation, and policy optimization.

대부분의 나라들은 미래 항공력(Air Power)의 중요성을 실감하였기에 국가적으로 공군력 강화에 주안점을 두고 있는 실정이다. 한국 공군도 공군력이 국가방위의 핵심전력이라는 공군의 목표와 버금가는 전략적 접근이 필요하다고 보며 이러한 맥락에서 공군의 F-X사업도 각군간의 사업 분배의 개념이 아닌 국가안보를 위한 강력한 억제력과 미래 불특정한 주변 위협에 대해서도 억제행사를 할 수 있는 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 국가적인 전략으로 추진되어야 한다고 본다. 그래야만 대한민국은 현재 우리 앞에 펼쳐지고 있는 그리고 곧 다가오는 동북아에서 뿐만 아니라 세계 속의 중심세력 국가로 설 수 있을 것이다.

정보통신부는 지난해 21세기 새로운 먹거리를 창출하기 위해 정보통신 서비스·인프라·제조업이 동반성장하는 IT839 전략을 수립하고 이를 민간기업과 함께 추진함으로써 국민소득 2만달러 달성의 기초를 다져왔다. 그 결과 IT산업은 생산 241조원, 수출 747억달러로 지난해 대비 각각 18%, 30% 증가해 경제성장을 견인했다. 5개의 해외 R&D 센터를 유치해 IT허브 기반을 구축하기도 했다. 이를 기반으로 올해는 정보통신 일등국가, 선진한국 건설을 위해 IT839 전략을 안정적으로 추진하고 동북아 IT허브를 본격적으로 조성할 계획이다.

북한의 핵개발 의혹이 전세계 초미의 관심사로 한반도를 비롯한 동북아 및 세계 안정에 심각한 위협이 되고 있다. 더욱이 핵 운반수단인 미사일을 북한이 그동안 중점 개발하여 상당한 수준에 이르렀다. 이러한 우려 속에 지난 9월 1일 국방대학원부설 안보문제연구소에서 "북한 군의 특수무기 능력과 개발전망"을 주제로 국제 안보학술토론회가 열렸다. 이글은 영국의 군사전문 월간지 "제인스 인텔리전스리뷰"의 상담역으로 있는 죠셉 버뮤데즈씨가 발표한 내용으로 지나온 북한의 미사일 개발 과정을 체계적으로 설명하고 있다. 우리 군도 향후 북한의 미사일 개발 방향을 예측해 이에 대한 대응전략을 신속히 구축하여야 할것이다.

In the 21st century, the global security environment has undergone rapid changes, presenting South Korea with complex security dilemmas. This study aims to explore a new national security strategy for South Korea through the implementation of 'Positive Peace.' Based on Johan Galtung's concept of 'Positive Peace,' the study proposes a comprehensive approach to build sustainable peace by redesigning the peace process on the Korean Peninsula, establishing a multilateral security cooperation framework in Northeast Asia, expanding global peace contributions, promoting domestic social integration, and spreading a culture of peace. To realize these goals, the study discusses the need to redefine the role of the military, reallocate defense budgets, introduce the concept of a peace dividend, promote the peaceful use of science and technology, and legislate for the realization of the right to peace. The implementation of a 'Positive Peace' strategy aims to transform South Korea into a leading nation in peace, contributing to the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula, Northeast Asia, and the global community.

While the e-commerce market in Southeast Asia is growing, this study aims to derive factors for establishing an entry strategy for the Cambodian e-commerce market where Korean logistics companies can strategically enter in the future. Cambodia is a country where growth and growth potential in the e-commerce market is steadily increasing based on the high youth population ratio, high smartphone penetration rate, the introduction of convenient payment systems, and government-level e-commerce promotion policies. In this study, Korean logistics companies established detailed promotion strategies by deriving factors necessary for Cambodia's entry into the e-commerce market and analyzing their relative importance. The AHP analysis technique derived three top factors for the entry strategy, and each presented four sub-factors. As a result, the importance was shown in the order of 'Market Factor' (0.556), 'Policy and Institutional Factor' (0.295), and 'Corporate Competency Factor' (0.149). As a result of the sub-factors analysis, the importance was found in the order of "Characteristics and Growth Potential of Distribution Channel" (0.230), "Purchasing Power and Awareness Level of Consumers" (0.176), "Cambodia Government's E-commerce Policy and Institutional Support" (0.122), and "Cambodia Government's Logistics Infrastructure Plan" (0.108). In both the upper and lower factors, the characteristics and growth potential of the Cambodian e-commerce market were important, indicating that Korean logistics companies value market size and growth potential to enter the Cambodian e-commerce market. The results of this study can be used as a guideline to help Korean logistics companies make successful inroads into Cambodia, where the e-commerce market is expected to grow in the future.

DMSP-OLS nighttime satellite imagery could be used to derive the sum of lights (SOL) and built-up area, and the two indices have been widely employed to make the estimation of socio-economic variables and the dynamics of urban developments. Considering it, this research investigated the spatiotemporal patterns of economic growth and urbanized area in Jilin Province, China, using DMSP-OLS data for a time span between 1992 and 2012. This study found the SOLs of both the province and most cities to tend to grow during the period. While SOL-weighted centroids' means moved towards northwestern direction, urban-area centroids' means followed the trend of south-eastern migration. These directional patterns could be associated with the Northeast Revitalization Plan of Chinese governments. Nonetheless, a future study will need to consider SNPP VIIRS DNB imagery in order to overcome temporal limitation of DMSP-OLS data. In addition, it is also necessary to estimate socio-economic indices, e.g., growth regional domestic product, using a regression model developed with correlation relationship between economic statistics ad SOL.
