eLoran 기준시 생성시스템 개발

  • enhanced Loran의 핵심은 기존의 Loran 송신국들이 세계협정시(UTC(Coordinated Universal Time))와 일치된 시각을 사용함으로써 동일한 체인 내에서 뿐만 아니라 이웃 체인을 이용할 수도 있다는 것이다. 즉, 수신 가능한 모든 Loran 송신국의 신호를 수신함으로써 위치, 항법, 타이밍의 정확도를 높일 수 있다. 따라서 각 Loran 송신국들은 적절한 동기 방법을 활용하여 UTC에 동기된 Loran 신호를 생성해야 한다. 해양수산부에서는 eLoran 성능 테스트를 위해 기존의 포항, 광주 외에 추가 한 곳으로 인천지역에 시험 송신국을 구축하고 있다. 또한 포항, 광주 송신국의 로란 신호를 UTC에 동기시키는 현대화를 추진함으로써 성능 검증을 위한 eLoran 테스트 베드를 구축하고 있다. eLoran 송신국들은 UTC와의 시각동기가 반드시 필요하므로 이를 위해 테스트베드 송선국의 기준시를 생성하기 위한 시스템과 그 기준시를 UTC와의 동기시키기 위한 시스템을 개발 및 구축하였다.

Daily Quest Design for Mobile Arcade Games -The Effect of Player's Tendency on Motivation- (모바일 아케이드 게임의 일일 퀘스트 디자인 연구 -플레이어의 성향과 동기를 중심으로-)

  • These days, virtually every mobile game has a daily quest system. Daily quest is a great tool that can attract game players by providing daily rewards as the player conducts designated missions. However, conducting similar tasks repeatedly has a risk of becoming tedious duties, and maintaining an enjoyable daily quest is critical in enhancing the overall experience of a game. Based on the awareness on the need for academic research on daily quest systems, this study categorized the types of quests systems implemented in the current mobile games, observed how preferred type differs by player's propensity, and analyzed how motivation of a player can be improved using quest types. The results are (1) the staged rewards after each clearance of a task improve a player's motivation, (2) players with high autonomy should be given a freedom to choose their own quests, and (3) players who values their playing skills higher are motivated by providing a feedback on the completion of a task.

Exploring the Motivational Use of Special Libraries from a User's ARCS Perspective (이용자의 ARCS 관점에서 본 전문도서관 동기적 이용 탐색)

  • This study reports on the motivational use of special libraries from a user's perspective that investigated four motivational components: attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction (ARCS) of the library users. Even though special libraries received relatively little attention compared to public libraries, special libraries could fill the niche of public libraries for the special and specific needs of the community in the current library environments in South Korea. Qualitative data were collected through individual interviews and forty people participated in the project. The findings of this study show the four themes (ARCS) that users need motivation as a way to start using a special library, thereby staying focused and revisiting the library. It is possible that the ARCS model will contribute to the implementation, application, and practice of both special libraries and their services in the library environment. The results are expected to expand our knowledge on the motivational ARCS use of special libraries and to serve as basic data when designing motivational strategies and plans of the systems for special libraries.

  • This study has been conducted to design and implement smart phone-based application which can keep records effectively to improve athletes' ability. To boost their performance, they need to receive training as realistic as possible. As a way to do that, training should be performed with some fitness equipments, sporting apparatus, facilities, and conditions. However, it is also possible to improve their ability by motivating athletes with checking and recording their performance. This study ascertains that using scoring records actually motivates athletes when comparing the result of youth basketball team using the records keeping system with that of not using it. Accordingly, smart phone-based records keeping application has been designed and developed. Also, through a survey targeting athletic coaches who have used the system, training efficiency has been measured and it turns out that it actually motivates athletes to improve their abilities.

  • 본 논문에서는 증강현실 환경에서 다중 시스템의 물리 시뮬레이션을 위한 동기화 방법을 제안한다. 증강현실 시스템의 몰입감 증대를 위하여 가상 객체에 물리 법칙에 기반을 둔 실질적인 움직임을 부여하는 방법을 논하고 이를 네트워크로 확장하기 위하여 물리 기반 증강현실 환경의 동기화 방법을 연구하였다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 증강현실 어플리케이션의 몰입감 증대와 네트워크 게임에서의 증강현실 도입이라는 새로운 방향도 제시 할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Inspired by the synchronization phenomena observed in the Nature, we propose an autonomous load balancing method for a wireless network. We model the load balancing problem of cells providing wireless access services as a synchronization problem in the Nature and design an algorithm for each cell to distribute loads in a self-determining way based on the load differences among its neighbor cells. Through simulations, we verify the feasibility of the proposed method in that cell loads can be balanced efficiently eve if cells make decision autonomously using their local information.

  • 품질관리(品質管理)는 종업원(徒業員)의 자발적참여(自發的參與)와 협조(協助) 및 종업원다수(從業員多數)의 참여(參與)가 없이는 성공(成功)할 수 없다. 그런데 근면(勤勉), 자조(自助), 협동(協同)의 새마을정신(精神)을 바탕으로 우리나라 기업(企業)에서 실시(實施)하고 있는 공장(工場)새마을운동(運動)은 종업원(從業員)에 대(對)한 새마을정신(精神)의 고취(鼓吹) 및 이에 의한 품질동기부여(品質動機賦與)를 통(通)하여 전종업원(全從業員)의 자발적(自發的) 참여(參與)로서 자사제품(自社製品)의 품질향상(品質向上)에 지대(至大)한 공헌(貢獻)을 하고 있으며 특(特)히 작업자(作業者)에 의한 품질결함(品質缺陷)(Operator controllable defects)을 제거(除去)하는데 매우 큰 역할(役割)을 하고 있다. 따라서 종업원(從業員)에 대(對)한 동기부여적(動機賦與的) 관점(觀點)에서 볼 때 공장(工場)새마을운동(運動)은 전종업원(全從業員)의 자발적(自發的) 참여(參與)와 협조(協助)를 필수적(必須的) 요소(要素)로 하고 있는 재래적(在來的)인 품질향상운동(品質向上運動)과 일치(一致)한다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 취지(趣旨)에서 미국(美國)의 ZD운동(運動), 일본(日本)의 Q.C.서어클활동(活動)과 같은 재래적(在來的)인 품질향상운동(品質向上運動)과 한국적(韓國的) 품질향상운동(品質向上運動)인 공장(工場)새마을운동(運動)을 동기부여적측면(動機賦與的側面)에서 비교(比較)하고 공장(工場)새마을운동(運動)의 특징(特徵)과 실천방법(實踐方法)을 정립(定立)하여 보고자 하는 것을 본논문(本論文)의 목적(目的)으로 한다.

Mass Estimation of a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor Applied at the Vertical Axis (수직축 선형 영구자석 동기전동기의 질량 추정)

  • Tuning of the speed controller in the linear servo applications needs the accurate information of a mover mass including a load mass. Therefore this paper proposes the mass estimation method of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) applied at the vertical axis by using the recursive Least-Squares estimation algorithm. First, this paper derives the deterministic autoregressive moving average(DARMA) model of the mechanical dynamic system used at the vertical axis. The application of the Least-Squares algorithm to the derived DARMA model gives the mass estimation method. Matlab/Simulink-based simulation and experimental results show that the total mover mass of a PMLSM applied at the vertical axis can be accurately estimated at both no-load and load conditions.

A Clock Generation Scheme for TDM-CDM Converter in Gap Filler for the Satellite DMB Systems (위성 DMB용 중계기(Gap Filler)의 TDM-CDM변환부 클럭 생성 방안 연구)

  • In this paper a new clock generation scheme for TDM-CDM converter in the Gap Filler for satellite DMB systems has been proposed. The scheme uses the frame sync signal from the Ku band TDM receiver to lock the VCXO which provides the system clock for the TDM-CDM converter. The locking algorithm can be easily implemented in the FPGA, so that no separate circuitry is needed as in conventional PLL. With a stable OCXO, The scheme can be used to generate the reference clock to the local oscillator for RF parts.
