Synchronization of Heterogeneous Database Using .NET-Based Remoting System and Socket Communication (.NET 기반의 Remoting 시스템과 Socket 통신을 이용한 이 기종 DB 동기화)

  • 본 논문에서는 .NET 기반의 Remoting 시스템과 Socket 통신을 이용하여 이 기종 DB Server 간의 Data 동기화를 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 Client 의 웹 브라우저를 이용 Socket 통신으로 Data를 전송하여 데이터베이스에 저장하는 방식으로 구현하였고, Data 읽기는 Remoting 기술인 중계 어플리케이션 서버의 클래스를 원격으로 실행시켜 Data를 가져오는 방식으로 구현하였다. DB 동기화는 Data를 저장할 때 중계 어플리케이션 서버와 DB 서버의 Data 관리 어플리케이션 간 비동기 통신으로 DB 서버의 Data 처리 수준을 실시간으로 감시하여 중계 어플리케이션 서버에서 선택적으로 Data를 전송하고, 이후 Data 처리 수준이 정상화기 되면 다시 Data를 전송케 함으로써 이 기종 DB 서버간의 동기화를 구현하였다. 본 논문은 1 장에 서론, 2 장에 .NET Remoting 기술과 네트워크 프로그래밍, 3 장에 이 기종 DB 서버 간 동기화 시스템 설계 및 구현, 4 장에 결론을 기술하였다.

A Centralized DESYNC Scheme in Small-Scale Wireless Networks (소규모 무선 네트워크에 적합한 중앙제어 방식의 DESYNC 개선 방안)

  • In the recent days, interests in machine-to-machine communication schemes in small-scale networks has been increasing with growing demands. TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) can be used as a multiple access method in small-scale networks. However, time synchronization for TDMA is complicated or needs additional equipments. Such a large cost is not suitable for small-scale networks. We propose, BC-DESYNC, a efficient time synchronization for small-scale networks by extending DESYNC(DESYNChronization). DESYNC takes a long time to complete synchronization and doesn't guarantee the synchronization delay. BC-DESYNC uses CU(Central Unit) that performs a centralized control to achieve the 2-hop communication and guarantees the synchronization completion time by using Mimic firing and C-DESYNC scheme.

  • 네트워크를 통한 미디어 서비스에 있어 다양한 미디어 서비스의 개발과 사용자들의 요구에 대응하기 위해 사용자와의 상호대화를 할 수 있는 미디어 전달 방법과 연속적인 재생을 보장하기 위한 버퍼정책이 요구된다. 지금까지의 관련된 연구에서는 여러 가지 다양한 방법을 통하여 동기화를 달성하고 있으나 상호대화라는 측면에서는 만족할 만한 해결책을 제시하지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 상호대화형 객체(Interactive Object)를 각 미디어 파일에 삽입하고 객체들이 서로의 정보를 이용할 수 있는 함수를 설계하여 동기화와 상호대화성이라는 문제를 해결하며 네트워크에 대한 의존성 때문에 발생하는 불연속적인 재생을 가변 버퍼를 이용함으로써 해결하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 곳에 구축되어 있는 이기종 가상환경을 네트워크로 연동하고 이러한 환경에서 3D 게임을 지원하기 위한 시스템 설계 및 구현 결과를 제시한다. 각각의 가상환경은 수평-수직-정방형 디스플레이 장비 및 마그네틱-하이브리드 방식의 트랙킹 장비를 이용하여 구축되었다. 제안 시스템에서는 서로 다른 형태의 디스플레이, 트래킹 및 인터랙션 도구로 이루어진 개별 가상환경을 연동함으로써 발생하는 데이터 간의 이질성을 해결하기 위한 뷰 동기화, 인터랙션 동기화 기법 및 사용자 인식 모듈을 제공한다. 또한 별도의 컨트롤 서버를 구축하여 개별 노드간의 동기화를 제공하고 공유 데이터를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 환경 및 시스템에서 "Alice in Virtual World" 라는 1 인칭 슈팅 게임을 수행하여 그 활용 가능성을 입증하였다.

  • Since Time synchronization is also critical in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) like other networks, a time synchronization protocol for WSN called IBS(Indirect-Broadcast Synchronization) has been already proposed in 2012. As IBS operates in cluster tree topology, network lifetime may be mainly shortened by cluster head node[s], which usually consumes more power than cluster member (i.e. non-cluster head) nodes. In this paper, I propose enhanced version of IBS (called EIBS) which saves overall energy and prolongs network lifetime by re-constructing partial cluster tree locally. Compared with other tree construction approaches, this tree reconstruction algorithm is not only simpler, but also more efficient in the light of overall power consumption and network lifetime.

  • This paper proposes an autonomous decentralized frame synchronization system for Ad-hoc Inter-Vehicle Communication Network (IVCN). We have to consider the feature of Ad-hoc IVCN: "time variant" about the number and the location of vehicles and receive power in IVCN, frame timing, and fading. Proposed scheme is different from other decentralized synchronization systems that have association with a fixed base station, and from centralized Personal Communication Systems. This system includes an autonomous decentralized frame synchronization scheme for Ad-hoc IVCN, a high-speed algorithm, a protocol for a newly joining subscriber in IVCN, and a utilization of spread spectrum ranging for frame timing error of the system under highway conditions. Performance evaluation of proposed scheme is validated through simulation. It is shown that Ad-hoc IVCN can be carried out among one and surrounding vehicles in such environment.

  • In this paper, we describe a method for synchronization protocol method used in control system based on network and IEEE 1599 synchronization method which used for implementation of synchronization technology of advanced industrial Ethernet. We also implement and perform the experiment for synchronization technology of EtherCAT communication which is one of the industrial Ethernet technology used IEEE 1599 synchronization technology based on time. And we describe an evaluation for experiment result, improve the problem and future plan.

  • The distributed measurement and control system require technology to solve complex synchronization problem among distributed devices. It can be solved by using IEEE Standard for a Precision Clock Synchronization Protocol for Networked Measurement and Control Systems to synchronize real-time clocks incorporated within each component of the system. In this paper, we implemented the IEEE 1588v2 PTP emulator on BlueScope BL6000A using a delay request-response mechanism to measure clock synchronization.

  • When a single source of multimedia contents is distributed to multiple reproduction devices, the audio and video contents require synchronous play for multi-channel stereo sound and lip-synchronization. The multimedia system in vehicle, especially, has researched to move to wireless environments from legacy wired environments. This paper proposes the advanced algorithm for providing synchronized services of real-time multimedia traffic in IEEE 802.11 WLANs [1]. For these, we implement the advanced IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol [2] and the environments for simulation. Also, we estimate and analysis performance of the algorithm, then we experiment and analysis after the porting of algorithm in wireless LAN devices (Linksys wrt-350n AP network device) to characterize timing synchronization accuracy.

  • In this paper, a transparency analysis and network-adaptive transport scheme are proposed in order to improve transparency of EBA-based force-reflecting teleoperation. EBA guarantees stability of force-reflecting teleoperation over network delay and loss but has limitation that it cannot overcome transparency deterioration of haptic interactions. The proposed transparency analysis quantifies the force feedback distortion caused by network delay and loss. Based on the analysis, the proposed haptic data synchronization and transmission rate control schemes adapt synchronization delay and transmission rate to current network state for more transparent haptic interaction. Through Matlab/Simulink simulations, it is confirmed that the proposed analysis provides an acceptable quantification method about haptic interaction quality and that the proposed haptic data transport scheme effectively improves haptic interaction quality with respect to network delays and losses.
