The Comparative Study in the Oxygen Atom Transfer Reaction by Ruthenium Mono-Oxo Complexes

  • The oxidation of triphenylphosphine by [(tpy)(phen)RuⅣ(O)]2+ and [(bpy)(p-tert-butylpy)RuⅣ(0)]2+ (tpy is 2,2': 6',2"-terpyridine, phen is 1,10-phenanthroline, bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine, and p-tert-butylpy is para-tertbutylpyridine) in CH3CN has been studied. Experiments using 18O-labeled complex show the oxyl group transfer from [RuⅣ=O]2+ to triphenylphosphine occured quantitatively within experimental error. Kinetic data were fit to a second-order for [RuⅣ=O]2+ and [PPh3]. The initial product, [RuⅡ-OPPh3]2+, was formed as an observable intermediate and then underwent slow solvolysis. The reaction proceeded as endothermic in activation enthalpy and a decrease in activation entropy. The oxidative reactivity of four representative ruthenium mono-oxo oxidants against triphenylphosphine was compared. These systems have been utilized as electrochemical oxidative catalysts.

  • Objective The purpose of this case study was to report improvements of a Soyangin patient with dysgeusia which a salty taste persisted in the mouth. Methods This patient was identified as Soyangin and treated by Yangkyuksanwha-tang-gamibang, acupuncture and moxa. Patient's symptom was assessed G/A(Global Assessment). Results and Conclusions The symptom of a lasting salty taste in the mouth was improved remarkably after using Korean medicine treatment, especially Yangkyuksanwha-tang-gamibang.

  • 무인 원격 로봇이 감지한 주변 장면에 대한 정보는 텍스처를 매핑한 3D 지형 모델을 통해 현실감 있게 재현할 수 있다. 무인 원격 로봇에는 2D 및 3D 데이터셋을 획득할 수 있는 이종의 센서가 탑재된다. 무인 원격 로봇은 지속적으로 이동하므로 고정된 텍스처를 매핑하는 3D 지형 모델과 달리, 서로 다른 위치와 다양한 시점에서 촬영된 카메라 영상 텍스처를 3D 지형 모델에 매핑하는 기법이 필요하다. 이러한 점증적 3D 지형 모델링을 위한 동적 텍스처 매핑 기법을 설명한다.

  • 기반 망 없이 네트워크 구축이 이루어지는 애드 혹 네트워크 기술이 다양한 방면에서 활용되고 있다. 애드 혹 네트워크에서 널리 사용하는 AODV(Ad-hoc On Demand Distance Vector)라우팅 알고리즘을 사용한다. 하지만 빈번하게 경로가 변경될 수 있는 상황에서 이러한 라우팅 알고리즘을 사용하게 되면 경로를 생성 및 복구에 사용되는 제어 메시지의 과도한 사용으로 인해 메시지간의 충돌과 손실될 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이 논문에서는 기존의 AODV 라우팅 프로토콜의 경로 생성에 필요한 RREQ, RREP 메시지를 하나의 메시지로 통합하는 라우팅 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • IEEE 802.15.4 프로토콜은 구현이 용이하여 다양한 응용 네트워크에서 사용되고 있다. 하지만 대용량 데이터 전송시 백오프(back-off), CCA(Clear Channel Assesment), IFS(Inter Frame Space), ACK 시간 등이 MAC 계층에서 오버헤드로 작용하여 네트워크 성능 저하의 요인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.11e 프로토콜에서 사용되고 있는 블록(block) ACK 기법을 분석하고 이를 802.15.4 네트워크에 적용할 것을 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 성능 분석을 실시하고 제안한 기법이 802.15.4에서도 네트워크 처리량을 크게 향상 시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 802.15.4에서 CW(Contention Window)에 따른 성능과 에너지 소비량을 분석한다. 기존 연구에서는 802.15.4 표준안의 성능과 에너지 소비량을 분석하고, CW나 BE(Backoff Exponent)와 같은 변수를 변화시켜 시뮬레이션만으로 성능과 에너지 소비량을 비교하여 분석하였으나, 본 논문은 CW에 따른 성능과 에너지 소비량을 마코프 체인(Markov Chain)을 이용하여 수학적으로 분석을 하였다.

  • Flexible dye sensitized photovoltaics (f-DSPVs) based on plastic substrates have attracted significant interest due to their light-weight, flexibility, and compatibility with roll-to-roll processing, as well as their potential application to ubiquitous power sources. However, f-DSPVs exhibit inferior power conversion efficiencies (PCE) compared to conventional DSPVs since the fabrication process must be conducted at a low-temperature (≤ 150℃) to prevent thermal damage of the plastic substrates, which generally results in poor interconnection between the TiO2 nanoparticles. Numerous novel low-temperature manufacturing approaches for flexible photoanode and counter electrode have been developed. In this review, current progress on low temperature strategies for f-DSPVs technology are discussed.

  • Nowadays Web Services are one of the most rapidly developed technologies and have become platform for e-ecommerce as well as B2B model. Therefore, when Web Services use SOAP as a protocol for communication, their security should be considered. However, those SOAP messages are prone to XML attacks that can create a foundation for typical faults and make it vulnerable to use. Unfortunately, recent researches established that solutions to deal with these problems have several limitations. In this paper, we explore attacks on SOAP messages and also provide confidentiality and integrity solutions. It is a tolerant scheme which is able to automatically detect and fix typical faults occurred in SOAP messages to combat with the security threats in order to improve its reliability.

  • The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of oriental medical treatment including Hubaksenggangbanhagamchoinsam-tang(厚朴生薑半夏甘草人蔘湯) and moxibustion (and acupuncture) on abdominal distension. Two patients complainted of abdominal distension, vomiting, dyschezia and so on. According to the pattern identification (辯證論治), the distension of both patients were diagnosed as deficiency distension(虛脹). So we decided to treat the patients by means of tonification the deficiency(補虛) including Hubaksengganggamchoinsam-tang and moxibustion. And the symptoms improved after treatment. So we report these cases.

  • Objectives : Yanggyuksanhwa-tang is a prescription used for cerebral infarction clinically. Methods : According to previous research data, the effect of Yanggyuksanhwa-tang on cerebral infarction, we induced cerebral infarction by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) in rats, and the rats were administered Yanggyuksanhwa-tang. Results: Infarct area, infarct volume were measured, and the level of elements such as c-Fos, Bax and caspase-3 in penumbra of infarct were expressed by immunohistochemical staining. Conclusion : Yanggyuksanhwa-tang showed neuroprotective effect through preventing neuronal cell apoptosis.
