일본 나라문화재연구소의 독립행정법인 이행과 관련된 제문제

  • 일본 문화청 소속의 정부조직이었던 나라국립문화재연구소가 국가조직의 행정개혁에 따라 현재의 독립행정법인 나라문화재연구소로 변혁하면서 나타나고 있는 여러가지 상황에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 나분켄은 동아시아에서도 잘 알려진 국보 호류지금당벽화의 소실이 문화재 분야의 큰 문제로 부각되면서 종합적이고 학술적인 문화재의 연구 보호 종합기관의 설립 필요성에 의해 만들어진 기관이었다. 연구분야에서 보면 초기에는 역사, 건축, 미술공예, 정원, 유적 등 다양한 분야에서 출발했으나 나라지역의 헤이조큐 유적보존 문제가 주요 이슈로 떠오르면서 매장문화재의 발굴 중심으로 그 역할이 강화되는 변화를 겪에 되었다. 그러나 선사고고학이 아닌 역사고고학이 중심이었기 때문에 건축사나 정원사, 보존과학 등 서로 다른 학문이 융합하여 연구할 수 있는 강점이 강화되어 설립목적은 견지하면서 변모하였다. 독립행정법인으로의 변화는 1999년의 제145차 통상국회에서 "독립행정법인통칙법"이 성립되면서 부터였다. 독립행정법인의 취지는 독립 운영하는 쪽이 효율적인 부분을 분리시켜 법인격을 가진 기관으로 바꾸면서 운영교부금을 주무관청으로부터 받아 사용처를 독자적 재량에 맡기면서 이윤을 올릴 수도 있게 한 것이다. 또한 조직과 인사의 자율성을 보장받는 장점도 있으나 평가시스템이 되입되는 정신적 부담도 공존하게 된다. 즉, 민간 방법의 도입에 따라 국가의 부담을 경감하고자하는 의미가 내재되어있다. 나분켄의 독립행정법인화는 동시에 도쿄문화재연구소의 통합을 수반하게 되었다. 도분켄은 원래 미술공예품을 중심으로한 동산문화재 연구와 보존과학부분에 충실한 조직이었으므로 부동산문화재 중심의 나분켄과 통합에 우려의 목소리가 있었다. 그러나 불행중 다행으로 다카마쓰즈카 고분벽화의 열화문제와 키토라 고분 벽화의 보존문제로 인하여 전무후무한 협업연구가 진행되고 양 연구소의 역량을 결집할 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 결론적으로 말하자면, 독립행정법인화는 매년 예산을 중기계획이나 연도계획과 정합성을 유지하면서 독자적인 판단을 통해 편성하는 등 극히 유연한 대응이 가능하다는 장점을 가지고 있는 반면, 문화재 보존을 위한 연구라는 공공적인 목적을 가진 조직이 정부의 의도대로 독자적으로 이윤을 올리는 사업을 확립하여 국가의 부담을 경감하는 방향으로 나아갈 수 있는가라는 부분에서는 의심할 여지가 남아 있다.

  • In that all aspects of education can be compared from an international perspective, Comparative Education can share research subjects with most of the subdisciplinary study of Education. Especially Educational Finance and Economics, which is an important part of institutions and policies of education, has been one of the important areas in Comparative Education studies. In this regard, this paper summed up the relationship between Comparative Education and Educational Finance and Economics. Not only for the development of Educational Finance and Economics itself, but also in point of view of Comparative Education, it is as follows to discuss several tasks for Educational Finance and Economics to develop from now on. First, it is necessary to diversify the methods and approaches to Educational Finance and Economics. Comparative Educational studies or exploration on Educational Finance and Economics should require additional analysis from a variety of perspectives. Second, more efforts should be made to establish an independent theoretical framework for Educational Finance and Economics. Comparative Education may also be interested in international comparisons of these theoretical orientations or directions of Educational Finance and Economics. Third, we have to secure the identity of the Korean Educational Finance and Economics. Various comparative educational studies on Educational Finance and Economics of Education from an international perspective should be attempted on the basis of indigenous and independent Educational finance and Economics. Educational Finance and Economics are areas in which comparative educational analysis is needed more than any other study field of Education. We look forward to more active research on Educational Finance and Economics in the future from a comparative educational standpoint.

  • 근년의 각종 센서의 발전은 급속히 측정기의 성능향상을 가져왔다. 즉 전출감도의 향상, 변환률의 향상, 소형화, 응답성의 향상, 신뢰성의 향상등이다. 더욱이 이들의 뛰어난 자동화와 마이콘의 적극적인 활용에 의해 계측의 자동화를 지향하고 있는 것이 많다. 이하에 설명하는 것은 소제 목으로한 측정에 포함되는 센서를 전부 망라한 것은 아니고 구래의 것과 대비하여 독자적인 것을 각각 예시한 것이다.

Active Inferential Processing During Comprehension in Poor Readers (미숙 독자들에 있어 이해 도중의 능동적 추리의 처리)

  • Three experiments were conducted using a verification task to examine good and poor readers' generation of causal inferences(with because sentences) and contrastive inferences(with although sentences). The unfamiliar, critical verification statement was either explicitly mentioned or was implied. In Experiment 1, both good and poor readers responded accurately to the critical statement, suggesting that both groups had the linguistic knowledge necessary to the required inferences. Differences were found, however, in the groups' verification latencies. Poor, but not good, readers responded faster to explicit than to implicit verification statements for both because and although sentences. In Experiment 2, poor readers were induced to generate causal inferences for the because experimental sentences by including fillers that were apparently counterfactual unless a causal inference was made. In Experiment 3, poor readers were induced to generate contrastive inferences for the although sentences by including fillers that could only be resolved by making a contrastive inference. Verification latencies for the critical statements showed that poor readers made causal inferences in Experiment 2 and contrastive inferences in Experiment 3 doting comprehension. These results were discussed in terms of context effect: Specific encoding operations performed on anomaly backgrounded in another passage would form part of the context that guides the ongoing activity in processing potentially relevant subsequent text.

Designing a Writing Support System Based on Narrative Comprehension of Readers (독자의 내러티브 이해를 반영한 창작 지원 시스템 설계)

  • A variety of writing support systems focus on the information management or the feature analysis of the commercially successful narrative texts. In these approaches, the reader's role in the narrative creating process is overlooked. During a writing work, an author anticipates the reader's response or expectation to the narrative and he/she organizes the narrative either along or against the prediction about readers. Assessing and controlling the reader's comprehension in the development of events influences the aesthetic quality of the narrative. In this paper, we suggest a writing support system to visualize and adjust the characteristics of a narrative text related to the reader's comprehension, which is theoretically based on the narrative structure model and the event-indexing situation model. Under the development of the support system, we designed an interactive framework to create events as the basic units of story and arrange them onto both story- and discourse-time axes. Using this framework, we analyzed the organization of events about an actual film narrative. We also proposed both the continuity of the situational dimensions and the cognitive complexity as the characteristics to affect the reader's comprehension, hence we devised a method to visualize and evaluate them. This method was applied to the actual film narrative and the result was discussed in the aspect of the features of the narrative and wiring support strategies.

A Study on the Visual Literacy for Picture Book Reviews (그림책 서평의 시각적 문식성에 관한 연구)

  • As a public institution, it is the duty and responsibility of a library to provide readers with information about books. To provide such information to readers, a librarian should have the ability to provide satisfactory consultation and advice. As interest in picture books grows, there is an increasing need for libraries and librarians to produce and release picture book reviews on a regular basis to inform readers of what makes a good picture book, and which among similar books should they choose. Other than summarizing the content of a picture book, a good picture book review should also provide additional information that will help readers understand the reviewed book such as the literary symbolism of a book's visual texts. To this end, a librarian is required to develop visual literacy, which would enable him/her to read into the deeper meaning of the images imbued with the writer's ideas and philosophy. In light of the above discussion, this study compares and analyzes two picture book versions of the story Little Red Riding Hood, with the purpose of helping librarians understand the visual texts that they need to refer to when writing picture book reviews.

  • Hopkins의 도약률(Sprung Rhythm)은 영어의 운율자질인 강세에 의한 엄격한 정형률을 고수하고 있다. 즉 약강 5보격이나 약강 6보격의 정형률을 지킨다고 Hopkins는 주장한다. 일반 독자나 운율비평가는 이를 인정한다. 문제는 시인의 음량(quantity) 기준에 의하여 강, 약 자리를 어떻게 충족시키고 있느냐 하는 점이다. 모든 비평가는 Hopkins의 음량 기준의 지나친 편의성과 임의성, 및 응통성?에 대하여 그의 음량 이론을 수용하려하지 않는다. 그러나 Kiparsky는 Hopkins의 설명에 따라 시인의 도약률을 분석하면 시인의 음량 이론이 이유 있음을 설명해 보인다. Kiparsky의 분석에서 문제점은 없는가? 만약 있다면 그것은 바로 Hopkins의 음량이론의 문제점이 될 것이다. 이 연구에서는 Hopkins의 편지 속의 설명은 실제로 독자의 낭송 속에서 어떻게 실현될 것인가 즉 '귀로 듣고 감상(ear and taste)'할 때 나타날 리듬형, 즉 낭송의 틀에 의한 분석을 시도하였다. 그것은 도약률이야 말로 읽히기 위한 것이며 '보는 시'가 아니라는 전제에서이다. 여기에서는 낭송에서 나타날 도약률의 음량과 장단, 즉 지속시간을 하나의 '낭송보(Textsetting for Sprung Rhythm)'에서 투사해 보고자 했다. 그 낭송보는 Hayes & Kan(1994)의 '어린이의 민속노래 보(Textsetting for Children's Folk Songs)'를 원용하였다. 약강 4,5,6보격, 강약 4,5,6보격의 일정한 강세 모습과 일정한 지속시간을 보여주는 도약률의 '낭송보'는 다음과 같다('약'자리와 '강'자리의 간격은 일정하게 보고 '강'의 돋들림은 격자로 더 높게 표시하였다). 이와 같은 낭송보는 독자, 즉 낭송자의 낭송 가능 범위를 그려 준다. 즉 약자리의 두개나 그 이상의 음절을 한꺼번에 낭송할 수 있음을 보여 준다. 그 음은 자연히 연음(slurring)이 되기 마련이다. 그러므로 이 연구는 다음과 같은 사실을 규명해 준다. 첫째, 어떤 시행도 규칙적인 박으로 낭송된다. 둘째, 음량은 박자에 의하여 좌우된다. 즉 강과 약자리의 일정한 지속시간의 범위 내에서는 몇 개의 음절도 낭송이 가능하다. 그것은 일정한 간격의 자리를 나타내는 격자로 결정된다. 따라서 모라(morae)의 개념보다도 박자의 개념으로 도약률은 낭송된다. 셋째, 모든 약자리와 강자리는 일정한 간격과 실제의 박(묵박도 포함)에 의하여 규칙적이다. 넷째, 외율음보는 격자의 길이내에서 낭송된다. 그러나 이 연구의 기본은 시인과 독자의 율형(Metrical Pattern)에 대한 의식과 의도(intention)가 전제된다. 이것은 이 연구의 문제임과 동시에 장점이다. 시율의 분석은 보는 율형이 아니라 읽고 낭송하는 율형으로 분석되어야 함을 보여 준 것이 이 연구의 기여이다.

  • This study is to find out the legitimacy and features of Honam Choreography via Lee Mae-bang and Han Jin-ok, two of the masters, and to seek better and more creative ways to pass it down in view of regional particularities. The study looks into the traditional choreography's multi-conceptuality that is derived from various forms of art and lends it its identity with the original notion rooted in Buddhist dancing. Despite the local cultural traits of the Honam area, the fact that Lee Mae-bang is more feminine and Han Jin-ok more masculine shows the two's worlds of dancing have been created from different perspectives, though they are quite common in their roots and locales. The particularities of passing down traditional choreography are given a thought in this study with the distinction and identity taken into account. Also, it will give an opportunity to discuss the importance of localism as aesthetic consciousness and communica tion channel. In any case, there is no doubt that local difference and communica tion make a very important source of culture when we look into the originality of the choreography.

An Analysis on the Effect of Independent Study Project Learning on Self-Directed Learning Ability and Mathematical Self-Efficacy of the Mathematically Gifted Elementary Students (독자적 연구 프로젝트 학습이 초등수학영재의 자기주도적 학습능력과 수학적 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is, targeting 5th and 6th grades mathematically gifted elementary students, to analyze the effect of independent study project learning on self-directed learning ability and mathematical self-efficacy, and based on the results, examine the implications that independent study project learning has in special education for the gifted. In order to solve the study problems, 5th grade mathematically gifted elementary students(40) and 6th grade mathematically gifted elementary students(39) who had passed the selection criteria of D education institute for the gifted and had been receiving special education for the gifted were selected. The study results are as below. First, although self-directed learning ability had no significant difference at p<0.05, it statistically had some differences in averages between pre-test and post-test results. Second, although mathematical self-efficacy had no significant difference at p<0.05, it statistically had some differences in averages between pre-test and post-test results. Third, in the aspects of self-directed learning ability and mathematical self-efficacy, independent study project learning had a more positive effect on 5th grade mathematically gifted elementary students than 6th grade mathematically gifted elementary students. In addition, it had significant differences in 'the level of mathematical tasks', a sub-level of mathematical self-efficacy, and 'the openness of learning', 'the initiative of learning', and 'a sense of responsibility for learning', sub-levels of self-directed learning ability. These results imply that independent study project learning has a positive effect on self-directed learning ability and mathematical self-efficacy of mathematically gifted elementary students so that it could be meaningfully used as a teaching method for special education for the gifted at educational sites of independent study project learning.
