The purpose of this study was to develop the indicatives for the analysis of the effects of Gyeonggi-do Book Sharing Project on pre-schoolers of supporter' reading care and thereby, suggest some data useful to the establishment of a reading culture promotion policy in Gyeonggi-do. Preceding studies and cases were reviewed to analyze the effects of the book-sharing project on pre-schoolers of supporter' reading care and thereby, develop some measurement indicatives, and thus, the indicatives were verified by professionals using the Delphi technique. Then, supporter of 3~5 year-old pre-schoolers were sampled from 7 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do (Pocheon-si, Yangpyeong-gun, Yeoju-si, Dongducheon-si, Gapyeong-gun, Yeoncheon-gun and Yangju-si) to be divided into control and test groups and thereby, their reading care effect indicatives were compared before and after the test. The theoretical background is theory of family literacy, emergent literacy and parenting efficacy. As a result of developing the indicatives for analysis of pre-schoolers of supporter's reading care effects and comparing them for the sample pre-schoolers of supporter, before and after the test, the book-sharing project was found effective in improving reading care. The most difficult problem in pre-schoolers' earlier reading education involves acquisition of reading habit. So, it is deemed necessary to operate a regular book sharing project involving public organization and homes. As a result of developing the indicatives and analyzing the effects of the book-sharing project, it was confirmed that the project would serve to improve pre-schoolers of support's reading care and therefore, this study seems to provide some ground for the operation of a sustainable book-sharing project to narrow the education divide and promote a book reading culture in Gyeonggi-do.

This research allows purpose to illuminate Reading Popularization Movement and readers' interest in the 1960's. This period, there were scientific and national interests about 'Reading' as culture from society whole as well as on public education situation. This research describes reading and phenomenons of reading education on the basis of newspaper data mainly in the 1960's, observed formation process of kind of 'Reading society' in sociological side. This research allows purpose to investigate aspect of reading movement and reading education in the early period of the 1990's. This is succession research that is the Japanese Occupation Period, after release, the 1950's, the 1960's, the 1970's, the 1980's reading popularization movement research as current trend of opinion to examine modern reading popularization movement. Such series research that reading phenomenon analyzing comparison, is to find present address of reading movement and reading education. accordingly all sorts correct judgment about reading phenomenon, hereafter that will be foundation that unfold reading education more effectively. In main discourse first, investigated, reading movement, and second, observed classifying distinguish reading of student from reading of ordinary people by readers' interest etc.

The purpose of this study is to check the educational influence and accountability of school library and to derive implications for the improvement of public education, using raw data of OECD PISA 2009. To do this, the reading achievement as well as questionnaire of 4,989 Korean students' data in OECD PISA 2009 were used. It analyzed how the visit of library can affect reading achievement, reading attitude and behavioral through structural equation modeling method. The results were as follows. The library use factor is a cause-effect relationship among reading achievement, reading attitude and behavioral factors. In addition, the reading attitude is a cause-effect relationship between reading behavior factor and reading achievement. In the part of reading behavior is a cause-effect relationship reading achievement. In the results of applying this causal relationship of whole population, in some individual cases, they are activated as moderating variable.

To date, large print books have been published in Korea only for partially-sighted persons. However, as a recent explanation in the Reading Culture Promotion Act indicates, people who cannot use reading materials due to old age are now also considered to be reading-handicapped. This study is aimed at investigating the proper characteristics for the improvement of print publication for elderly people using data from a survey of 80 elderly persons. This study identified elderly people's preferences on the major characteristics of large format books such as font style, character size, line width, and page layout, derived from both quantitative and quantitative research methods.

In this study, the direction and contents of public education to develop competencies that are in line with the 2022 revised curriculum and the paradigm of future education were sought, and a plan for reading education was prepared. A creative and cooperative problem-solving method and process as not only information literacy ability to read, select, and reconstruct information but also transformative competency to respond to uncertain future and diversified situations are important amid the complex, pluralistic and rapid development of information and communication technology It was intended to give an experience of exploring and communicating through reading in order to explore and derive it. Analyze the general outline and syllabus of the curriculum, international education project definitions and indicators, and organize academic theories and research to set the direction and goal of high school reading education, and organize creative and convergence class strategies and reading activities A library reading class model was developed. Accordingly, the class model was revised by applying the development research method, and the final model was developed by supplementing it through field application evaluation. In order to achieve the research purpose end, a two-round Delphi survey was conducted on 10 reading education and curriculum experts. The model modified through the Delphi survey was developed in the final school library convergence reading class model by demonstrating the class in the educational field and supplementing it through application evaluation.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of the Gyeonggi province book sharing regular delivery project for pre-schoolers in 2021, analyze the problems of the project, and suggest improvement measures to help the preparation of policies for the promotion of reading culture in Gyeonggi province. As a result of the survey, the necessity and satisfaction of the project were found to be very high for both the caregivers and the reading coaches. In particular, in the case of caregivers, the higher the amount of reading after the project, the higher the need for and satisfaction with the project. It was found that they wanted to participate in programs such as regular book delivery. Even in the convergence of expert opinions, it was evaluated that there was a positive change in the perception of parenting by reading by caregivers, and that the necessity and satisfaction of this project were very high due to the development of infant-parent interaction. However, in the self-evaluation of the project manager and the implementing organization, it was evaluated that better results could be achieved only when the project was carried out through thorough planning and preparation in advance. Through this, for the continuity of Gyeonggi province regular delivery of children's book packages, improvement plans were presented and Gyeonggi-do's reading culture promotion policy was proposed.

This study understand the subject domain of book which has been read by men and woman elderly by analizying the PFNET using library big data and confirm the difference between adult at age 30-40. This study extract co-occurrence matrix of book lending on the popular book list from library big data, for 4 group, men/woman elderly, men/woman adult. With these matrix, this study performs FP network analysis. And Pearson Correlation Analysis based on the Triangle Betweenness Centrality calculated on the loan book was performed to understand the correlation among the 4 clusters which has been created by PNNC algorithm. As a result, reading trend which has been focused on modern korean novel has been revealed in elderly regardless gender, among them, men elderly show extreme tendency concentrated on modern korean long series novel. In the correlation analysis, the male elderly showed a weak negative correlation with the adult male of r = -0.222, and the negative direction of all the other groups showed that the tendency of male elderly's loan book was opposite.

The purpose of this paper is that which behavior is affected by the storytelling for the visually impaired children. I had a depth interview with the children and their parents who were Participated in the storytelling class, the storytelling teacher and the librarian. And then the material was analysed by the grounded theory. As a result of this research, storytelling is very helpful for the visually impaired children to improve their interest in reading, learning ability and their sociality.

This study explored the services of libraries for babies and toddlers and the possibilities of service expansion through Bookstart as a cooperation system for libraries. This study presented the problems of the services of libraries for toddlers by implementing the questionnaire method and the in-depth interviews. In addition, this study showed the impact of carrying-out this program and why libraries should manage the Bookstart program. Results indicated that: (1) even though the membership enrollment standard of children's libraries is usually from babies and toddlers up to the elementary school students, that of a few libraries is still over elementary school students. This will work on restraining the services of libraries for users, especially toddlers, only 54.8% of libraries services are for the toddlers; (2) by analyzing the perception of librarians, we get to know that librarians think that the age of the first use of a library is more appropriate for kindergarten-agers than toddlers; (3) librarians think positively about the Bookstart and that libraries are more suitable for Bookstart than any other institutions; (4) after the introduction of Bookstart to libraries, many changes happened in respect of the function of libraries and the types of users. For examples, there was an expansion of users to babies and toddlers and their parents, an increase in users, focusing on early-childhood reading education and the strengthening of the role of librarians as program planners in particular. This study suggests that the introduction of Bookstart would bring changes to the concept of traditional libraries and the inflexible attitudes of librarians.
