The purpose of this research is to document the current state of 'One Book, One City' community reading campaign (Hereafter called 'One Book' reading campaign), launched in 2003 in Korea, and the characteristics of the selected books. For this research, the homepages, news and reports of a total of 1,170 public libraries and their local government, and several major institutions and organizations related to reading and culture were analyzed with the research method of content analysis and literature review. Also, online catalogs of the National Library of Korea and the National Library for Children and Young Adults were examined to identify the characteristics of 729 titles and 1,179 volumes of books selected in 57 'One Book' programs, as of 2021. The analysis of 57 'One Book' programs and those selected books shows the selection of more than one books in different age groups in more and more 'One Book' programs, lack of consistency in themes of those selected books, and preference for young adult books, new publications and bestselling novels. This trend has weakened individual 'One Book' programs' concentration on one book or one subject, but helped invite a diverse group of people with various interests. More in-depth analysis and explanation of the process of book selection and its appropriateness with the stated goals of 'One Book' programs are needed.

2009년부터 초등학교 1, 2학년에 적용된 '2007 개정교육과정'의 재량활동 컴퓨터교육이 필수에서 선택으로 바뀌고, 범교과 차원의 독서교육, 환경교육, 통일교육, 보건교육 등이 재량활동에서 비중을 차지하게 됨에 따라 컴퓨터교육이 어려움을 맞게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 충청북도 초등학교 교사 360명을 대상으로 컴퓨터교육 실태를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 개정교육과정에서 바뀐 컴퓨터교육과정에 대한 교사들의 올바른 이해가 필요하며, 컴퓨터전담교사 배치 및 교사 연수가 필요하다는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 재량활동을 통한 컴퓨터교육은 반드시 필요하고 정보통신 윤리교육에 대한 체계적인 교육이 필요하다는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

This study suggested the expansion strategies of school library catalog considering educational context which should be used teaching and learning process. To achieve the purpose of research, this study derived educational context categories by comparing and analyzing teaching and learning related factors, information resource related factors. Also, this study analysed case system considering educational context. Based on the results, this study designed the catalog data elements as an element to be added to an existing school libraries system(DLS). The derived data element is end user(teacher, students), instructional situations (teaching method, instructional object, curriculum, evaluation type), resource type(feature, discipline, format), reading situation(contextual reading, literature topic), related materials(teacher representation, student representation).

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve accessibility to school library materials through analysis of elementary school students' information search behavior in DLS. Accordingly, the DLS search process was recorded for 26 students attempting a DLS search in the school library, and data was collected through a pre-search questionnaire on overall information needs and a post-search questionnaire on the search process and results. As a result of the analysis, satisfaction was found to be low when the main purpose of DLS use was simple leisure reading, when the search time and number of search words were long, and when there were too many search results. Accordingly, it was emphasized that curriculum subject-related metadata elements should be developed and a curriculum subject-specific thesaurus should be built and used to build lists and support user searches. In addition, it was suggested that the basic functions provided in external searches should be included, and a foundation should be laid in terms of resources and curriculum to systematically provide information utilization education to elementary school students who lack the ability to select search terms and judge the suitability of results after the search. It was proposed to provide an integrated search service with external resources and a personalized book recommendation service.

The National Department of Education approved the 'Information and Library' 'Curriculum which contained the educational role of school libraries. This curriculum contained and integrated the library guidance, reading education and cooperative instruction that teacher-librarians have taught. The school education has basically been led, based on curriculum. Therefore, it is important to have all kinds of educational activities related to the school library approved as school curriculum. This study is to introduce Base Connectionism, Base Integrationism, Top 456 Approach, and Curriculum-Based Approach, based on 'Information and Library' curriculum.

Analyzing research schools' reports on school library activities, this paper identifies the characteristics and problems of library assisted instruction (LAI), and proposes areas and ways for improvement. Twenty three reports of secondary schools in Edunet were analyzed and their content were categorized into 13 educational activities. Most frequently implemented activities were collection development, reading programs, LAI, and Digital Library System (DLS). The verified positive impact of LAI include enhanced motivation for reading and improved ability for self-directed learning. Areas for improvement include LAI's excessive dependence on DLS and reading activities, insufficient time and library materials which hindered students' information activities. In order for LAI to be more effective in enhancing self-directed learning ability, it is suggested to connect LAI to specific educational experiences and develop customized and detailed content.

As the public reading campaign has been popular, the book festival, a sociocultural event in relation to the book and reading, becomes a growing public interest. The book festival which could be diversified by each community and its environment would be understood in the perspective of the performance of public library, the diffusion of public reading campaign and the sociocultural togetherness of the community. In that, this study focuses on the book festival of Seongbuk-Gu, Seoul, held in 2015. Specifically, this study looks into the theoretical underpinnings and the background of book festival, examines the case of the '2015 Seongbuk-Gu Book Festival' systematically, and analyzes the factors that influence the book festival, in order to enhance our understanding of the book festival in general.

It is by presenting the how to read of Manhoengcheongnyu(만횡청류) in this article. Premise of how to read of Manhoengcheongnyu(만횡청류), the meaning of the lyrics is inconsequential. The major educational goal of reading part, which occupies important portion in Korean language in Korean SAT, is to evaluated whether a given text can be fully understood. Therefore given questions in the exam must be able to solely solvable by given text. In this paper we developed a datatset based on Korean SAT's reading part in order to evaluate whether a deep learning language model can classify if the given question is true or false, which is a binary classification task in NLP. In result, by applying language model solely according to the passages in the dataset, we were able to acquire better performance than 59.2% in F1 score for human performance in most of language models, that KoELECTRA scored 62.49% in our experiment. Also we proved that structural limit of language models can be eased by adjusting data preprocess.

최근 베스트셀러 목록의 변화가 심상치 않다. 여전히 대형 베스트셀러가 보이지 않는 가운데 종합 순위에 문학서와 인문서의 강세가 눈에 띈다. 문학서의 경우 문예지를 통해 정식으로 등단했거나 이전에도 베스트셀러를 냈던 작가의 작품이, 인문서의 경우 일간지 등을 통해 낯익은 필자들의 저작이 대부분이라는 점에서 베스트셀러의 성격 변화에 대한 의견이 분분하다. 전반적인 출판시장의 축소 때문에 일시적으로 이들 책이 베스트셀러 상위를 차지한다는 분석과 출판시장의 거품이 빠지면서 정상적인 궤도를 찾아간다는 분석이 대부분이다. 두 의견 모두 이런 현상의 원인을 출판시장의 불황에 두는 것 같지만, 이 현상의 성격을 전자는 대형 베스트셀러 대망론으로, 후자는 독서계의 거품이 빠지는 구조조정의 과정으로 본다는 점이 다르다.
