The Purpose of this study is to consider the characters of reading theory in the age of Yi dynasty. Accordingly It is analyzed to the reading theory in work materials of the intellects at the age of Yi dynasty that the purpose, process and methods of reading. We have to succeed traditional reading mind that reading(learning) is life namely. Moreover We have to enlighten as to proper reading theory today. Especially we have to develop a good book lists following a grade of development what grown up spiritual mature of life.

This study is trying to propose an academic system of science of reading through analysing this area in United States as well as Japan and the it's curriculums of departments and majors of the undergraduate and graduate schools in Korea. In the case of United States, it is divided into sociology, physiology, psychology and pedagogy of reading. Japan's research area of Science of Reading is divided into sociology, physiology, psychology and pedagogy of reading under the influence of the United States. However, Murofushi Takeshi(室伏武) divides this area into 5 categories of curriculum such as basic research field, reading material field, reading education method field, reading education management field, and adjacent fields to science of reading. According to the result of comparing the it's courses in Korea, it's areas are divided into sociology, psychology, pedagogy of reading, science of reading materials and adjacent fields to science of reading. Based on the above contents, a new academic system of science of reading can be divided into basics of science of reading, readers field, reading material field, reading professionals' education field, and adjacent fields to science of reading.

The purpose of this study is to develop the curriculum for the private certificates of reading instruction newly which can perform a reading instruction effectively in digital environment as the digital technology has changed the overall paradigm of reading. The curriculum for the private certificates of reading instruction was designed and proposed finally through deriving the implications over an study of the changes about reading paradigm in digital environment, searching the features and benefits over an in-depth analysis of domestic and international curriculum practices for training reading specialist, collecting the opinions and verification work over a Delphi survey of experts in the field of reading instruction. The finally developed curriculum consists of 6 kinds of training area, 21 kinds of subject and 82 kinds of training course content respectively to achieve the main function and purpose of the changed reading instruction in digital environment and in order to train reading specialist capable of applying properly them in reading instruction field.

I studied on the application of creativity to reading instruction in this paper. Reading strategies and creative thinking skills are categorized. And these are incorporated in the time process of reading instruction. In pre-reading process, Using Prior Knowledge and Reasoning of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Fluency and Creativity of the divergent thinking skill. In reading process, Increasing Sensitivity to Text Elements with the Highest Information Load and Structuring and Recognizing Structures of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Flexibility and Creativity of the divergent thinking skill. In post-reading process, Reasoning of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Creativity of the divergent thinking skill and convergent thinking skill.

The object of this study is to survey the private organizations which have issued the certificates according to the reading education, to describe the right curriculum for the private certificate, and to propose the proper subjects and curriculum for it. The results of the survey may be summarized as follows; 1) The private organizations which have issued the certificates are so many. 2) The certificates which have been issued are not to acquire the proper authorities' cachet. 3) The kinds of the certificate are reading instructor, reading therapist, reading couch, etc. 4) It's necessary for the chief organization to manage all of the organizations which have issued the reading education certificates. 5) It's thought that it's necessary to study more the subjects and curriculums as for the proper reading education certificates.

This Study has developed the contents(scope and sequence) of reading education in school library. For this purpose, this study compares and analyze the contents of reading education curriculum in Korea, American and Japan. Basing on the comparative and analyzed results, It has established a scope for reading education, 10 area and 45 elements. It survey reliability against established a scope and sequence(suitable school year) with 52 teacher librarian in Korea. It proposed the contents(scope and sequence) of reading education in school library with final.

This study looks at the reading related qualifications that examine the issues into the curriculum of reading-related qualifications specifically. The results of analysis, 278 reading related qualifications are both operated by the private non-accredited. And reading related qualifications system was required the effort and systematic enhancement of the quality management system of education information. On the basis of the survey, It is proposed operational plans for the quality of reading-related qualifications by cooperation of the private and government that are utilized as a reference in the promotion policy.

Library and Information Science, traditionally a strong field of book and reading, can be said to play a leading and central role in bibliotherapy that heals human emotions, situations, and pathological symptoms through books and reading processes. Therefore, in this study, the perception and status of bibliotherapy were investigated by applying an academic and practical perspective to the field of library and Information Science, which has a very close relationship with bibliotherapy. First, the perception survey surveyed 200 students taking LIS - related classes at four-year universities in the Seoul metropolitan area on five topics (books, bibliotherapy, curriculum, libraries, and others) using keywords related to bibliotherapy. And then, the current status of bibliotherapy in the field of LIS was investigated by dividing it into a curriculum related to bibliotherapy and bibliotherapy activities in the library to examine it from an educational and practical perspective. Bibliotherapy related curriculum status survey explored and analyzed through bibliotherapy related keywords based on 32 universities with LIS departments among four-year universities in Korea. And bibliotherapy programs and reading lists were analyzed for 1,104 public libraries in Korea. Finally, based on the results of these surveys, the direction for the activation and development of bibliotherapy in the field of LIS was presented from the perspective of bibliotherapy participants and operators.

The purpose of this study is to strengthen librarian's capacity by developing curriculum and training system for fostering '(tentative name)Librarians Specialized in Reading Healing' as a field of professional librarians. For this purpose, curriculum and training system for fostering librarians specialized in reading healing are designed and presented through research methods including literature study, case study and 1, 2nd delphi survey. The final curriculum is composed of curriculum for 1st and 2nd grade licensed librarians specialized in reading healing and refresher training based on job description of librarians specialized in reading healing. The training system is based on the first and second level certification granted by completion of the course, thus is designed to meet requirements both for academic achievement and for career development in each grade.

This research tries to find out the effect bibliotherapy has upon the stress of college students in the process of self-formation. Actually, bibliotherapy was carried out in the Library of S College for eight weeks and the stress college students undergo in the process of self-formation having been studied closely, a paired t-test has been carried out in order to compare the. difference between the stress levels of the students after bibliotherapy and those before the therapy. The result shows that bibliotherapy had been notably effective in decreasing the students' stress in the process of self-formation. Therefore, it is suggested that college libraries need to inform their students of bibliotherapy and to develop various programs to promote it.
