Design of an Visitor Identification system for the Front Door of an Apartment using Deep learning (딥러닝 기반 이용한 공동주택현관문의 출입자 식별 시스템 설계)

  • Fear of contact exists due to the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. When using the common entrance door of an apartment, access is possible only if the resident enters a password or obtains the resident's permission. There is the inconvenience of having to manually enter the number and password for the common entrance door to enter. Also, contactless entry is required due to COVID-19. Due to the development of ICT, users can be easily identified through the development of face recognition and voice recognition technology. The proposed method detects a visitor's face through a CCTV or camera attached to the common entrance door, recognizes the face, and identifies it as a registered resident. Then, based on the registered information of the resident, it is possible to operate without contact by interworking with the elevator on the server. In particular, if face recognition fails with a hat or mask, the visitor is identified by voice or additional authentication of the visitor is performed based on the voice message. It is possible to block the spread of contagiousness without leaving any contactless function and fingerprint information when entering and exiting the front door of an apartment house, and without the inconvenience of access.

  • The recent expansion of the use of social media has served as an opportunity to express users' opinions in real time in various fields such as society, economy, politics, and culture, and brought many platforms that provide various information about companies. Among them, Glassdoor.com which started 2008 in US provides users with evaluations of the current and the former employees of their companies and also provides a outlooks for the company's growth Such a platform has the utility of providing necessary information to whom want to find a job or change jobs. In addition to this, variable studies have shown that the company information provided through these platforms is useful for investors as well. In this study, it was tested whether the corporate growth prospects of employees provided by Jobplanet, a platform with a typical function similar to Glassdoor.com in Korea, have predictive power to predict actual corporate growth. The forecast provided by Jobplanet and the company's financial indicator data received from FnGuide were collected and composed of panel data and analyzed using fixed effect model regression analysis. As a result, it was found that companies with positive prospects had higher employment growth than companies with negative prospects. When the outlook was neutral, the employment growth rate was higher than that of companies with a negative outlook.

  • Weather Strip(W/S) is a rubber part to proof water, sound and dust for opening and shutting devices including vehicle doors. And it requires high dimension precision and durability to proof water, noise, vibration and etc. But ironically it itself makes some wind noise because of some protuberance with glasses. The air flow analysis of door part of vehicle makes it possible to calculate and find out the cause of wind noise. In previous analysis, we focus on the numerical air flow analysis of the automobile side part. We do 2D-C.F.D first and 3D second. Through simulations, we can calculate the amount of sound pressure level at the glass run and find out the effects of glass run to make wind noise. Finally we can improve shape of glass run to reduce wind noise although it is small amounts of sound pressure reduction compared with total vehicle noise level.

  • 환기시설이 열악한 도시 지하철역 내의 대기환경은 지상보다 열악할 수밖에 없다. 현재 지하철역을 주로 사용하는 시민들의 안전을 보호 하고 지하철의 대기환경을 개선하기 위해 스크린 도어, 자동 제어 환기시설, 종합 영상 감지시스템 등 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 일부 지하철역에 설치되어 있는 공기질 모니터링 시스템은 수입품에 의존하고 고가의 장비이므로 초기설치 비용뿐만 아니라 유지보수의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 무선 센서 네트워크 기술을 적용하여 저가형 대기환경 모니터링 시스템을 개발했다. 이 시스템의 구성은 센서노드(ZED : ZigBee End Deice), 네트워크 코디네이터(ZCM : ZigBee Coordinator Modem), 수신서버로 구성된다. 지하철역 내부의 미세먼지, CO2, CO, 온습도, VOCs 데이터를 센싱할 수 있는 확장 센서보드를 설계한 후, 지하공간에서의 열악한 통신환경에서 QoS를 보장할 수 있도록 ZigBee 라우팅 기술을 이용한 센서노드(ZED)를 인터페이스하여 하나의 통합된 대기환경 센서 노드(ZED)를 개발했다. 또한 수신서버에 USB방식으로 연결되어 각각의 ZED로부터 데이터를 수신하는 센서노드(ZCM)과 전송된 데이터를 저장 및 처리하여 언제 어디서나 누구든지 인터넷을 통해 확인 가능하도록 지하철 대기환경 모니터링을 위한 수신서버를 개발했다.

  • The door systems in urban railway vehicles, through heavy maintenance checks by six years, 75 parts for 34 part types in 75 units have to be replaced periodically, and the remaining 68 parts for 40 part types to be replaced occasionally based on the necessity. Even though this process makes the door systems almost to be initial status, the systems have complicated mixes of components with new parts and used and then have different property from the original ones. This study suggested a burn-in test as a subsidiary tool to improve the reliability of urban railway vehicles, and suitable for testing conditions and the proposed new target value.

  • There have been the current controversy over effectiveness of the pressurized smoke control systems, which are installed within escape shaft to provide 'smoke-free' access for escaping peoples. Therefore, many effective measures were given in this paper by means of the production of a design guide for various types of escape routes used in domestic buildings. The solutions were established on basis of both an investigating current door closing device application in existing facilities and global standardization for pressurized smoke control system, especially in British Standard.   • This research conducted an the failure analysis was performed based on the failure and operation data for Seven years using the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety(RAMS) constructed at the operation stage after the opening of the D urban railway. therefore, the risk priority was selected for failure frequency component within the door system that showed high failure. Finally, the goal was to suggest ways to improve the door system. For this purpose, the analysis of thermal characteristics of failed components such as Door Control Unit(DCU) in the door system based on the Seven-year failure analysis data of RAMS was performed. These results were applied to the main component exchange cycle of the door unit, the mean time between failure(MTBF) and mean kilometer between failure(MKBF) values of RAMS increased by 26% in 2017-2018 when the improvement measures were taken, and the MTBF value of DCU was 300,000 hours, which was a 57% improvement in reliability. The results of this thesis identify potential enhancements in reliability and improvements in maintenance of the door system that, if implemented, would contribute to train safety and reduce instances of failure in the future.

Analysis of Train Operation Obstacle Using Number of Failures and Delay Time of Electric Door System (전기식 도어시스템의 고장건수 및 지연시간을 활용한 열차운행장애 분석)

  • This paper analyzes functions of component parts of D-Urban Railway's door system along with operation obstacle risks on frequency(the number of occurrences/year) and severity(delay time/the number of occurrences). Based on this, the paper presents improvements and current system's problems after obstacle risks of EMU and door system are appled. The obstacle of door system causes corrosion of main parts such as DCU due to heat problem of operation environment, problems of maintenance methods and deterioration. DCUs on PCBs with more than 50% pattern corrosion cause problems. Even though the number of door system's obstacle occurrences for the last 5 years is 42, along with 104 minutes of operation obstacle, EMU operation obstacle risk is low(Level 1), which indicates there is limit in matrix of railway risks presented by the standard of railway safety management system. Therefore, it is necessary to have railway risk matrix suitable for the field. Finally, the paper deducts the obstacle risks through frequency and severity. Since 2017 when the risks of EMU and door system's obstacle, that of EMU has been 24(47% reduced) and that of door system has been average 9.5 per year(23% reduced).

Effect of Automobile Exterior Panel Stiffness on Customers' Affect : Focused on Hood and Door of Mid-Size Passenger Cars (자동차 외판 강성의 고객 감성 영향 분석 : 승용차의 후드 및 도어를 중심으로)

  • This study attempted to identify the effect of the panel stiffness on the customers' affect, which was not addressed in the research field of affective engineering. For this, this study derived four affects related to the panel stiffness from literature and pre-experiment : hardness, deform consistency, thickness and satisfaction and prepared a questionnaire to evaluate the affects of the panel. In the experiment, 54 adults in the age of 20~50 participated and evaluated the affects of hood, front and rear door for nine full size and luxury sedans by pressing the panels with their hands. As results, participants' affect for the panels were significantly different depending on the force-deflection curves of them, and the subjects' satisfaction of the panels increased as the slope of the curve (stiffness) increases. In addition, it was found that the subjects evaluated the panel with the pressing force up to 14kgf. The findings of the study can be used to increase and control the affective quality of exterior panels on passenger cars.

Analysis on Life Prediction for Different Materials in Vehicle Door Hinge Lightweight Design (차량용 도어 힌지의 경량화를 위한 재질별 수명 예측)

  • Environmental issues are attracting increasing interest worldwide, and accordingly, environmental regulations for vehicles are being made more stringent. As a result, the car industry is conducting studies focusing on fuel efficiency and lightweight vehicles. To manufacture lightweight vehicles, existing steel parts are replaced by composite materials and lightweight metals. In this study, the fatigue life of a new material for manufacturing lightweight car door hinges was predicted using a finite-element analysis program. The existing steel material was replaced by carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and aluminum alloy 6061, and the test results were analyzed. The maximum stress decreased by approximately three times, whereas the fatigue life and safety factor increased. When only CFRP was used, its allowable stress, safety factor, and fatigue life were excellent, but the sagging of the product exceeded the allowable value, which posed a limitation in use. Therefore, it seems desirable to use an appropriate combination of steel, AA6061, and CFRP for this product.
