A Study on the Problem of Application of Seismic Performance Reinforcement Method for Urban Railways Case of Fiber and Rigid Reinforcement (섬유 및 강성 보강재료 기반 도시철도 내진성능 보강공법적용의 문제점 연구)

  • In 2005, Urban railway seismic design was introduced in Rep. Of Korea, and many studies on seismic performance evaluation and reinforcement methods were conducted. In accordance with the Enforcement Decree of the Earthquake Disaster Countermeasures Act issued in March 2009, during April 2010 to October 2013, some of local governments established detailed evaluation and reinforcement measures for seismic performance of the urban railway underground structure. Afterwards, the seismic performance reinforcement of the existing urban railway structures was conducted for the sections that a long period of used until the end of 2018, and the reinforcement works are carried out by various methods using the previously studied methods. However, various reinforcing materials and construction methods using have been studied, but the classification research on the construction methods currently applied to reinforcement construction of urban railways is insufficient. The purpose of study is to analysis the cases currently applied to seismic reinforcement construction and to show the characteristics of each construction method, the reasons for its application and problems.

  • The safety of staff, customers and of general Public in general viewed as one of the most important requirements in the urban transit. The maintenance computerization system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance computerization system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS (reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) estimation for maintenance computerization system are utilized in a variety of computerization system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. Provision of a reliable maintenance system include RAMS of the vehicles plays a very important role in achieving a safe system.

  • Recently, the frequency and magnitude of the earthquake have increased. The structural safety of the public facilities such as bridges and tunnels etc. which were not concerned for earthquake resistant design are increased. Fiber reinforcement polymer that has been frequently studied for seismic retrofit has advantage as seismic reinforcement material, but it has disadvantage of the brittleness. Therefore, the investigation of safety and seismic reinforcement are required. In this study, new FRP-ductile material layered composites proposed to seismic performance reinforced of subway tunnel. Tensile test of FRP-ductile material layered composites showed that Maximum tensile force of FRP-ductile using Aluminum is similar to existing FRP reinforcement material and maximum strain was increased. In case of application of domestic subway tunnel which need ductility, layered composites of FRP-Aluminum is estimated effectively for increase of seismic performance.

  • Technical requirements associated with derailment to ensure running safety of train are discussed. By using estimated derailment coefficient ratio, interaction of various parameters such as operation velocity, curve radius, cant, track irregularity, suspension stiffness and static wheel load ratio are analyzed to enhance derailment safety. Sensitivity analysis in terms of pattern and passage speed of curve is performed by using rolling stock and track conditions associated with SMRT Line No. 5.

Study on the Effect of Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Revisit Intent in the Urban Railway (도시철도의 서비스품질이 고객만족도와 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation and the causal relation between the service quality, customer satisfaction and revisit intent of an urban railway. A structural equation model(SEM) was developed and analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results showed that it satisfies the fitness of the model mostly: the reliability, convenience, safety of the service quality have a significant positive impact on the customer satisfaction (p<.05) and the tangibles(-.187) and responsiveness(-.103) have no impact on the customer satisfaction (p>.05.). The customer satisfaction has a significant positive impact on revisit intention (p<.001). The factors affecting the service quality and customers' satisfaction were found to be ranked as the order of reliability, convenience, safety, responsiveness, tangibility based on the high priority. The findings of this study will contribute to provide a practical tool to establish a mid-long term management plan and management strategies for boosting the customer satisfaction and creating revenue through the customized service of urban railway operating industry suffering chronic deficit.

  • 표준전동차는 1995 년 9 월부터 2001 년 12 월까지 수행된 도시철도차량 표준화 국산화사업의 일환으로 도시철도차량 표준화와 차량핵심장치의 국산화를 위해 개발되었으며, 한국의 표준이 되는 전동차이다. 도시철도차량의 표준사양, 성능시험기준, 품질인증기준, 안전기준, 정밀진단기준 등 제반 표준화기준에 의거하여 표준전동차가 설계, 제작되었으며, 수입에 의존하던 추진장치와 차량제어장치를 국산화하여 장착하였다. 제작된 핵심장치 및 표준전동차에 대해 구성품시험, 완성차시험, 본선시운전시험, 실용화를 위한 10 만 Km 내구도주행시험 등 각종 성능시험이 수행되었으며, 전동차 국산화율이 60%에서 95%로 향상되었다. 본 논문은 표준전동차의 개발경위, 핵심장치 국산화 내용, 각종 시험결과 등 전반적인 개발내용을 기술하고 있다.

EMF Measurement and Safety Assessment Method for Wireless Power Transfer System for Urban Railroad (도시철도용 무선 급집전 시스템 주변의 전자기장 측정 방법 및 안전성 평가 방법 연구)

  • A wireless power transfer (WPT) system for an urban railroad is currently under development in S. Korea. This system supplies power to railroad cars using 60 kHz magnetic fields. The electromagnetic fields (EMFs) generated by the WPT system should satisfy established safety requirements for exposure of the human body to these fields. However, EMF measurements and the safety assessment methods for fields generated by the WPT system have not yet been established. As such, a measurement and safety assessment method for EMF generated by a WPT system for an urban railroad is proposed in this report. The EMF generated by this WPT system on a test railroad was measured and compared to the reference level set by the human safety standard for EMF exposure.
