This paper proposes multivariate control chart for autocorrelated data which are common in chemical and process industries and lead to increase in the number of false alarms when conventional control charts are applied. The effect of autocorrelated data is modeled as a vector autoregressive process, and canonical analysis is used to reduce the dimensionality of the data set and find the canonical variables that explain as much of the data variation as possible. Charting statistics are constructed based on the residual vectors from the canonical variables which are uncorrelated over time, and therefore the control charts for these statistics can attenuate the autocorrelation in the process data. The charting procedures are illustrated with a numerical example and Monte Carlo simulation is conducted to investigate the performances of the proposed control charts.

Economic component screening procedures for multi-component assembly products supplied with warranty are proposed. It is assumed that the screening variable is continuous and the performance variable is dichotomous. Logistic and normal models are considered; the proportion of conforming items is a logistic function of the screening variable in the logistic model and the screening variable given the performance variable is normally distributed in the normal model. Cost models are constructed which involve three cost components; screening inspection cost for each component, cost due to disposing a rejected component, and warranty cost for an assembly product. Methods of finding the optimal screening procedures are presented and numerical examples are given.

A procedure for constructing a double sampling plan with zero acceptance number for the first sample whose combined sample size does nat exceed that of the given single or double sampling plan is studied. Using this procedure a double sampling system is proposed that can be used in place of MIL-STD-105D system when the quality history is good, and its composite quality characteristics are tabulated and compared with those of MIL-STD-105D system. The study reveals that composite ASN's of the proposed double sampling system are considerably smaller than those of corresponding MIL-STD-105D system with no appreciable changes in other composite quality characteristics. The procedure is also applied to K SA 3102 plans with similar results. A cost model that can be used in comparing a given single sampling plan with the proposed double sampling plan is also developed.

IEC Standards on lightning protection system specify the use of natural components as down conductors. This paper provides an analysis of problems revealed from our field investigation and survey conducted for the relevant experts in the construction site where natural components are used as down conductors. It also considers a suitable condition for installing natural components as down conductors in accordance with the latest version of the standard. As a result, when rebars of reinforced concrete are used as down conductors, vertical bars consisting of rebars of which thickness is not less than D13($127mm^2$) should be connected by welding, clamps or bound joints, using appropriate connection components conforming to IEC Standards. The lashed joints, however, shall not be applied for down conductors.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the formation and characteristics of wooden church architecture in Andong area from 1902 to 1975. Especially, I tried to find out the characteristic of wooden construction and the influence of typical form of Andong church architecture to the small church of nearby Andong rural area. This study was carried out the actual inspection of existing architecture through analysis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the building process and characteristics of Suncheon American missionary compound-missionary dwellings, medical clinics, schools and churches, for the sake of giving fundamental facts to the researcher of this field. The results of the study is summarized as follows. The construction participants of Suncheon missionary architecture are American supervisor- Rev. Preston, Elder Swinehart and Doctor Timmons, Korean christian labors, Chinese masons and Japanese carpenters. The characteristics of architectures are described as the space composition according to American life style, the architectural form of American colonial style. And also the masonry structure using the Korean domestic stones and bricks and imported various materials- such as the cements, timbers, glasses, doors and windows, etc- from the North America.

본 논문에서는 송전선 상시 운전 시 통신선에 미치는 유도전압 계산 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. 본 시뮬레이터는 Visual C++를 이용하여 개발되었으며, 송전탑 및 도선의 데이터들을 입력함으로써 통신선 유도전압을 계산할 수 있다. 또한, 본 시뮬레이터는 EMTP 프로그램을 내장하여 동작하며 GUI 방식으로 설계되어 보다 손쉽게 유도전압을 계산할 수 있다.

Single crystal of $CdIn_2Te_4$ were grown by the Bridgman method without using seed crystals. From photocurrent measurements, its was found that three peaks, A, B, and C, correspond to the instrinsic transition from the valence band states of ${\Gamma}_7$(A), ${\Gamma}_6$(B), and ${\Gamma}_7$(C) to the conducton band states of ${\Gamma}_6$, respectively. Crystal field splitting and spin orbit splitting were found to be at 0.2360 eV and 0.1119 eV, respectively, from found to be photocurrent spectroscopy.

본 논문에서는 한국형발사체를 사용한 달 탐사 위성의 궤적 설계를 수행하였다. 발사체는 달탐사위성과 킥모터 스테이지를 지구 저궤도에 투입하고, 이후 킥모터 스테이지의 연소에 의해 직접전이궤도 또는 고타원궤도에 투입된다. 설계된 궤적에 대해 TLI 및 LOI 기동을 실제와 가깝게 finite burn으로 모델링하여 요구속도 및 필요한 추진제량을 계산하여, 한국형 발사체를 사용할 경우 발사 임무에 대한 가능성을 제시하였다.

Autopilot에서의 조타정보 추출, AIS를 통한 조타정보의 송수신, ECDIS에 타각이 표시되도록 프로그램을 적용하여 선회조기감지시스템을 구현하였으며, 이를 실선실험을 통하여 확인하였다. Autopilot을 작동하여 송신용 AIS를 통하여 전송된 조타신호가 수신용 AIS에 수신되어 ECDIS에 3초 이내에 표시됨을 확인하였다. 선회조기감지시스템은 선박 상호간의 충돌사고 예방에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 예상하고 있으며, VTS 관제에 있어서는 선박들의 조타 상황을 파악하여 선박의 움직임을 조기에 파악하여 관제가 가능하다. 또한, 해양안전심판원에서는 AIS를 통하여 조타정보가 저장된 해양안전종합정보시스템(GICOMS)를 통한 사고분석이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 추후 선회조기감지시스템을 적용한 간이형 시뮬레이터를 개발하여 도선사 및 항해사를 대상으로 적용 평가하여 해당 시스템의 활용가능성, 신뢰성 등을 검증하고자 한다.
