In 2000, North Korea developed and published a two-volume, <Classification-Search Term Dictionary> and is currently used throughout North Korea. The purpose of this study is to examine the development process of the classification schemes of the North Korea after liberation and to understand the contents, composition, and principles of the <Classification-Search Term Dictionary> published in 2000 and revised in 2014. Until now, all the studies of the North Korean classification schemes were studies on the <Book Classification Scheme> published in North Korea in 1964, and there has been no discussion on North Korea's classification schemes since then. The first volume of the <Classification-Search Term Dictionary> consists of 'classification symbols - search terms', and the second volume consists of 'search terms - classification symbols'. Volume 1 is based on the <Books and Bibliography Classification Scheme (1996)>, and there are a total of 41 main classes in five categories. Volume 1 allocates 1 main class (11/19) to 'revolutionary ideas and theories', 8 main classes (20~27) to 'natural sciences', 19 main classes (30~69) to 'engineering technology and applied sciences', 12 main classes (70~85) to 'social sciences', and 1 main class (90) to 'total sciences'. Volume 2 is similar to subject-headings. North Korea's <Classification-Search Term Dictionary> is the first classification scheme introduced in South Korea and is expected to be the starting point for future studies on the establishment of the standard unification classification schemes.

Among the numerous duties of a librarian in a library, the work of arranging books is a job that the librarian has to do one by one. Thus, the cost of labor and time is large. In order to solve this problem, the interest in book-arranging robots based on artificial intelligence has recently increased. In this paper, we propose the K-ACO algorithm, which is the shortest path algorithm for multi-stops that can be applied to the library book arrangement robots. The proposed K-ACO algorithm assumes multiple robots rather than one robot. In addition, the K-ACO improves the ANT algorithm to create K clusters and provides the shortest path for each cluster. In this paper, the performance analysis of the proposed algorithm was carried out from the perspective of book arrangement time. The proposed algorithm, the K-ACO algorithm, was applied to a university library and compared with the current book arrangement algorithm. Through the simulation, we found that the proposed algorithm can allocate fairly, without biasing the work of arranging books, and ultimately significantly reduce the time to complete the entire work. Through the results of this study, we expect to improve quality services in the library by reducing the labor and time costs required for arranging books.

This study analyzed the contents of Goodreads review data, which is a social cataloging service with the participation of book users around the world, to identify the preference factors that affect book users' book recommendations in the library information service environment. To understand user preferences from a more detailed point of view, sub-datasets for each rating group, each book, and each user were constructed in the sample selection process. Stratified sampling was also performed based on the result of topic modeling of review text data to include various topics. As a result, a total of 90 preference factors belonging to 7 categories('Content', 'Character', 'Writing', 'Reading', 'Author', 'Story', 'Form') were identified. Also, the general preference factors revealed according to the ratings, as well as the patterns of preference factors revealed in books and users with clear likes and dislikes were identified. The results of this study are expected to contribute to more sophisticated recommendations in future recommendation systems by identifying specific aspects of user preference factors.

T.A.B란 공기조화설비에 대한 종합시험조정으로 시험, 조정 및 균형(Testing, Adjusting & Balancing)이라는 뜻이다. 이는 설계 목적에 부합되도록 모든 빌딩의 환경시스템을 검토하고, 조정하는 과정이다. 따라서 T.A.B기술은 공기 및 물이라는 유체의 흐름과 온 습도에 관련된 분야이기 때문에 시각적으로 그 성과를 알아보기 힘들고, T.A.B를 적용한 후 결과치를 정밀 분석해 판단할 수 있으며 T.A.B기술을 적용하지 않은 건물과 간접비교하는 방법으로 그 효과를 쉽게 알 수 있다. T.A.B기술을 적용할 경우 시공 중인 건물에 설계도서가 완료되기 전, 또는 장비의 구매발주 전에 T.A.B측면에서 모든 기술 도서를 면밀히 검토하게 된다. 그 중 일부에서 발견되는 문제점들 즉, 적정치 못한 용량 선정, 시스템 구성상 미비점, 불필요한 장비 선정, 누락 사항을 발견할 수 있다. 따라서 T.A.B 기술을 적용할 경우 향상된 품질의 시공이 가능해 준공 후 빈번히 대두되는 하자 문제가 현격히 줄게 되며 또한 운전경비 절감, 쾌적한 실내환경 조성, 장비수명 연장 등 효율적인 운전관리 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 우리나라 공기조화설비기술은 꾸준한 발전을 이루었고, 최근에는 도입 초기단계시 전혀 고려되지 않던 공조공간의 쾌적성 및 소음 방지 대책 등의 문제가 주요사항으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 따라 공조설비에 T.A.B실행의 표준화 정착과정에 있으며, 국내 학계 및 연구기관에서 공조설비에 대한 연구 및 T.A.B용역업체의 기술축적 등 T.A.B분야 발전을 위해 노력하고 있다. 본지는 T.A.B의 수행절차 및 수행계획, TAB 수행업체 등에 대해 알아본다.

For sustainable use of the resources of uninhabited islands of Korea, their ecological economic potential needs to be fully integrated into their management policy and the carrying capacity of the islands should be evaluated before using or developing them. The emergy methodology was used to evaluate the ecological economic value and carrying capacity of Sungap-do which is an uninhabited island in Incheon, Korea. The system boundary for the emergy evaluation of the island included the sea area within 1km from the high tide level, following the management boundary for the uninhabited islands of Korea stipulated in the Law on the Conservation and Management of Uninhabited Islands. The total renewable emergy input to Sungap-do was $1.04{\times}10^{20}$ sej/yr from tidal energy. The annual ecological economic contribution of the island was evaluated high at 29.9 billion Em￦/yr. If Sungap-do were developed to the national average, its carrying capacity was 6,586 persons at the current living standard of Korea. The carrying capacity of Sungap-do for the long-term sustainability scenario was 2,337 persons at the same living standard as in the developed scenario. When only emergy contribution of the land area was considered, the carrying capacity of Sungap-do sharply decreased to 14 persons for the developed scenario and 5 persons for the long-term sustainability scenario. The carrying capacity of the uninhabited islands of Korea including Sungap-do, thus, needs to be considered from the initial stage of utilization or development projects to sustain the ecosystem benefits and their sustainable uses.

2007년도에는 그 어느 해보다 많은 변화가 예상된다. 각 단체의 새해구상에서도 대부분 언급되고 있듯이, 도서관법 개정으로 대통령 소속 도서관정보위원회 및 문화부 내 도서관 정책기획단 설립, 광역단체의 지역대표도서관 지정과 지방도서관정보서비스위원회 구성 등 정책시스템의 전면개편 등이 이루어질 것이며, 이로인해 정부와 도서관인들의 노력과 열정이 더 한층 요구된다. 디즈니 전 CEO인 마이클 아이스너는 구성원이 갖고 있는 열정과 창의력에 대한 믿음을 "나는 누구든지 자신의 내면에 깊이 숨겨진 새로운 창조의 원천을 찾을 수 있다고 확신한다. 깊이를 짐작할 수 없는 열정의 원천을 건드릴 때, 그 힘은 기업의 성과에 엄청난 영향을 미칠 것이다." 라고 표현했다. 열정은 또 다른 기회를 만들어 주는 강력한 에너지다. 더욱 발전된 도서관문화를 창출할 수 있는 이 기회를 잘 활용해 2007년에는 내실있고 풍성한 결신을 얻을 수 있기를 바란다.
