전.남북, 경.남북, 제주도, 울릉도 등 남부 도서지방의 표고 700m이하에서 자라는 상록활엽고목으로 수고 20m, 직경 1m까지 자란다. 특히 일부 지자체에서는 지방을 상징하는 나무로 지정되어 주민의 사랑을 받고있다. 녹나무과에 속하는 후박나무는 잎이 광택을 띠며, 봄에 나는 새순은 단풍과 같이 붉게 물들어 아름답다. 가로수, 조경수로 많이 식재되고 있어 봄과 여름에는 다른 수종들과 어울러져 남들을 더욱 돋보이게 하고 가을과 겨울에는 혼자만이 꿋꿋이 녹색을 띠면서 적막한 도시의 거리를 조금이나마 부드럽고 훈훈하며 따뜻한 느낌을 주는 나무이다. 이러한 후박나무를 가해하는 해충으로 나무좀류와 기타 해충에 대한 생태 및 방제법을 간략하게 소개하고자 한다.

새로운 거래처를 발굴하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 특히 새로운 거래처가 우리나라가 아닌 외국에 있을 경우 더욱 어렵다. 우리나라 인쇄사들이 외국의 출판사에게 자사를 홍보하고, 인쇄물을 수주받기 위해서 어떻게 해야 할까? 가장 효과가 큰 것은 그들을 직접 만나 자사를 홍보하는 것이다. 대한인쇄문화협회(회장 김남수)는 매년 유럽과 미국 등 주요 국제도서전에 인쇄문화홍보관을 마련하고, 국내인쇄사들의 수출을 지원하고 있다. 인협은 지난 5월 30일부터 6월 1일까지 인쇄물을 가장 많이 수출하는 미국의 뉴욕 맨하탄에서 열린 북엑스포아메리카에 한국인쇄문화관을 조성하고 한국의 인쇄물 수출을 지원하는 활동을 펼쳤다.

도서관에서 기술의 진보와 표준화로 인해 분류 목록 업무가 근본적으로 달라지진 않았지만 목록 작성 방법이나 이용자에게로의 제공 방법은 분명히 변하였다. 따라서 이러한 업무를 책임져야하는 정리 부서 담당 사서는 전에 비해 여러가지 자질을 필요로 하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 American Libraries라는 미국 도서관계 잡지의 사서직 구인 광고를 바탕으로 1970년도부터 1995년도에 이르기까지 변화한 목록사서의 임용조건을 직책명, 목록경력, 업무감독 경력, 서지 유틸리티, 기계가독형 목록 경험, 분류체계, 기타 경력, 인성, 언어, 주제 분야 등의 요소로 나누어 분석하여 관련 교육 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to find a relationship between eating behavior, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge by comparing these items in elementary school students according to food service type. The survey was made through a questionnaire from 759 students in the 6th grade of elementary school in 39 Gangwon Province. The average score of eating behaviors according to food service type was highest for urban type, followed by agri-fishery type, and finally remote island and country type, for the questions asking about the application of nutrition knowledge and the frequency of eating out. The average score of nutrition knowledge according to food service type showed significant differences for the questions about eating snacks before going to sleep and weight increase as well as calorie comparisons between foods. For the correlation of eating behavior, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge, the agri-fishery type showed positive in all of the three items with significant differences. In the remote island and country type, there was a positive relationship between nutrition knowledge and dietary self-efficacy, and between eating behavior and dietary self-efficacy. However, there was no significant difference of correlation between nutrition knowledge and eating behavior. In order to confirm the predictable variables for eating behavior, a regression analysis was made by injecting variables in every stage with independent variables of dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge, which showed a significant relationship with eating behavior. The results showed that, in the urban type, dietary self-efficacy and nutrition knowledge affected the eating behavior and, in the agriculture type and the remote island and country type, only dietary self-efficacy affected the eating behavior.

Gabriel Naud$\acute{e}$ is a great thinker and academic librarian in France who realized the spirit of universal public library in 17C. Based on the experiences of private librarian for 12 years in Italy and public librarian for 20 years in France, he concretized his thought for public library in 'la Biblioth$\grave{e}$que Mazarine', which is the essence of the spirit of public library in France. He also realized the importance of librarians as specialists, for the first time, who played important roles in the development of the library community as one of the great thinkers of public library. The purpose of this research is to study 'la Biblioth$\grave{e}$que Mazarine' where the spirit of public library had been prospered through the entire life of Gabriel Naud$\acute{e}$.

The geological survey of the Mokdo island is for the fist time conduted in Korea history. The island had erupted before $70{\sim}80$ million years as a strato-volcano. The original volcano had been dissected for long periods up to the skeletal stage through the planeze stage. If the island area is surveyed afterwrds in detail, the position of crater is available to be found, either. The coastal terrace is found at 50m level in Mokdo island which is correlated to its fourth plane. The microgeomorphological features as coastal terrace, cliff, sea cave, wave-cut bench, sea stacks, notch, and tafoni, etc. were described. The Mogdo island is located off Molundae at the extension of Nagdong Jeongmaeg(낙동정맥 洛東正脈) showing a "floating turtle". The name of Mogdo island is needed to change to the "Yoo-goo-do" which means the swimming turtle. The Mokdo island is as suitable tourist attraction for if has enough touism sesouccesein sea. The deuelopsment of coartal sightseeing anound lighthoure and uninhabited islands will hare an impontant effect upon construction of the oceanic capitol city of Busan Haabor. The master plan built up an arboretum on the island, a coastal oceanarium, a seaweeds garden under sea coast, and other oceanic culture-spaces is completed in the study.

The flora of vascular plants of these sites were listed 272 taxa; 80 families, 193 genera, 234 species, 32 varieties, 5 forms and 1 hybrid. The naturalized plants were 12 taxa, and naturalization rate was 4.4%. Specific plants by floral region were total 54 taxa; 4 taxa in class IV, 10 taxa in class III, 5 taxa in class II, 35 taxa in class I. There is no taxa in class V. A peculiar point is that we found more than 30 Allium pseudojaponicum in Allium genus which is known as Japanese endemic plant. In Gokdudo, there is large Carex boottiana community, in Daehangdo, Machilus thunbergii community covers the whole island. In Bulgeundo, most of the hundreds of trees including Neolitsea sericea and Machilus thunbergii planted by Korea National Parks in 2003 have been damaged by rabbits.

Two-Way CAR-FERRY land and islands, islands to islands, the connection between sustainable marine transportation in conjunction with the increasing demand of tourists, according to the associated coastal maritime tourism and passenger transport has a role. Subsequent Two-Way CAR-FERRY and the increased ease of use due to berthing maritime accidents can be reduced. Two-Way CAR-FERRY as the draft (even) in the state on both sides of the propeller, because the propeller due to the small diameter, low speed forward flight by the reaction at the shaft and propeller damage can occur. Engine output accordingly, linear and torsional vibration reducer by, elastic coupling selection transverse vibration and shaft alignment (Shaft alignment) considering the shaft design (bearing size, width, thickness) and the primary drive shaft support portion of the hull structure of evaluated for quality.

There are only 14 public medical facilities available to residents regularly in the island area of Chungcheongnam-do, one health life support center, and one hospital ship, and these facilities and equipment cannot effectively respond to emergency patients such as severe trauma, cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases. The fastest means of transporting emergency patients is to use a doctor helicopter deployed at Dankook University Hospital (based in Cheonan). However, there is only one doctor helicopter deployed, and it cannot operate at night, and since it is in charge of all areas of Chungcheongnam-do, there is a limit to rapid transport in the event of a large number of patients. Therefore, we would like to review the necessity of "Chungnam-type Doctor UAM Development" to compensate for the problems of the urban aviation mobility (UAM) industry and the emergency patient transport system in islands, a field of the 4th industry.

This research deals with the study of the Arlington Public Library and present situations of public libraries providing Korean language materials services in the United States. The focus of this research is on aspects of the Arlington Public Library, Texas : collecting, classifying, Possessing. circulating, and managing the Korean language materials. In addition, this research includes the description of the current trends of Korean language services in public libraries around the US with literature review methods. This research would be a useful steppingstone when libraries in other countries begin services with Korean language materials, or when public libraries in Korea begin to provide foreign language services.
