The purpose of this study is to propose a personalized book recommendation system to promote the use of university libraries. In particular, unlike many recommended services that are based on existing users' preferences, this study proposes a method that derive evaluation metrics using individual users' book rental history and tendencies, which can be an effective alternative when users' preferences are not available. This study suggests models using two matrix decomposition methods: Singular Value Decomposition(SVD) and Stochastic Gradient Descent(SGD) that recommend books to users in a way that yields an expected preference score for books that have not yet been read by them. In addition, the model was implemented using a user-based collaborative filtering algorithm by referring to book rental history of other users that have high similarities with the target user. Finally, user evaluation was conducted for the three models using the derived evaluation metrics. Each of the three models recommended five books to users who can either accept or reject the recommendations as the way to evaluate the models.

아직까지도 도서 구매자의 대다수는 도서를 구매할 시 오프라인 서점을 이용하며, 외부 의견은 도서 구매 결정에 커다란 영향을 마치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 대표적 외부 의견인 도서의 리뷰를 가공 분석하여 제공하는 모바일 기반의 시스템의 필요성이 대두되었다. 하지만 현재 마켓에 등록된 애플리케이션의 대다수는 도서에 대한 사용자의 리뷰를 제공하지 않거나 분류 분석되지 않은 상태의 리뷰를 제공한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 각 도서의 리뷰를 수집하여 리뷰의 긍정 부정적 감정 추이를 분석하고 그 결과를 리뷰 핵심어에 따라 분류된 도서 평가 기준 별로 제공하며 이를 통해 사용자의 도서 구매 결정과 여러 도서간의 도서 선택에 도움을 줄 수 있는 모바일 애플리케이션을 설계하였다.

The purpose of the national library is to collect all publications as part of the national heritage and preserve them. This study is undertaken to determine the coverage of the book collection of the National Library of Korea. Bibliographies for the year 2007 and 2008 publications are obtained from the Kyobo Book Centre and sampled 10 % systematically to be used as checklists. Coverage was determined by searching the citations against the OPAC of the National Library of Korea. Results indicate 92.25% of coverage for the books published in 2008, 78.10% coverage for the books published in 2007, and the cumulative coverage is 85.16%. The analysis shows time lag and subject fields with low coverage. Results are compared with previous studies. Reasons for the unpossessed books, such as delay of deposit and publisher characteristics, are identified. Recommendations for the coverage improvements and future research are suggested.

This study suggested a scheme of revitalization and development of digital talking books(DTB) for the print disable people. In Korea, the number of print disabled people is quickly increasing because of increasing of the acquired blind and the elderly in population. To promote information service and to encourage active participation from the group categorized as print disabled people, library is required two distinctive considerations, design and implementation of authoring tool for DTB and policy and administrative consideration for revitalization for DTB service to the print disable people.

In this studying we could look that the rites for fortress under the rule of Silla's national rites was the one background which made Seonghwang religion in China was accepted in our nation. In Silla's national rites, fortress was the objects for rites and they were such as Bukhyeong fortress, Galim fortress, and Toseo fortress. These were belonged under Silla's national rites together with rites for famous mountains and big streams but differed from rites for mountains and streams. The fortresses which were belonged under Silla's national rites played a role as governing place during three nations era, but their prestigious position grew lower after provincial systems were consolidated. Fortress was the protectional building to protect the territory from the enemies. Silla's experiencing the war of three nations made them consider much the role of fortress as the important military location. And Silla included the rites for fortress into their national rites and governed the territory. The Galim fortress among them was got rid of Silla's national rites, and the rite seemed to be succeeded by provincial influentials. And this seemed to be the foundation for the provincial influentials in lateral Silla period to accept Seonghwang religion of China. And the fortress belonged to Silla's national rites was Kunhyeon fortress. Seonghwang-sa in Gorye was located in the fortress had governing place. Galim-fortress, Bukhyeong fortress, and Toseo fortress were also the important military locations. Seonghwang-sa in Gorye was the military strategic position, too and the deity for Seonghwang had the power to deal with the victory and defeat. From this, the background that the rite for Seonghwang in Gorye could be belonged to national rites comparatively early differed from China's was searched in the rites for fortress belonged to Silla's national rites.

This study examined university library services for students, including international students, and the AI-based information services provided by libraries. Additionally, the standards of Korean language education for international students were investigated. Based on the analysis of library services and these standards, a book recommendation system for learning Korean was developed using ChatGPT. The recommendation results from three training datasets were evaluated for recommendation precision. The results of the chatbot's book recommendations based on the 13 test questions were evaluated by recommendation precision. The comparison of the recommendation precision showed that the chatbot using the combined dataset was more successful in recommending all relevant books compared to the individual datasets. This study serves as an example of an effective approach to utilizing artificial intelligence technology for user services in university libraries.

현행 농어촌전화촉진법에 의한 10호이상 도서전화사업이 2006년 말까지 완료될 예정임에 따라 전국적으로 43개에 달하는 10호미만 미전화유인도서 및 벽지지역에 대한 전화사업의 필요성이 제기되었다. 10호미만 도서지역의 전화사업을 위하여 도서전화사업의 기본취지인 전력정책의 보편공급목표를 달성하면서 사회적 경제적비용을 최소화할 수 있는 방법의 채택이 요구되었다 본 연구에서는 대부분의 도서지역이 채택하고 있는 기존의 디젤방식과 최근 활발한 보급이 이루어지고 있는 태양광 풍력 등 신재생에너지에 의한 발전방식의 기술적 옵션에 대한 타당성 분석을 실시하였다. 10호미만 도서지역과 5호미만 벽지지역에 디젤엔진과 태양광 등 신재생에너지를 보급할 경우 발생될 기술적, 경제적 비용의 분석을 실시하였으며 연구 결과 소규모 도서지역과 벽지에서는 태양광이 디젤엔진보다 경제적인 대안으로 판명되었다.

최근 IT기술의 발달로 인하여 다양한 분야에서 IT기술을 활용한 융합기술의 시도가 많아지고 있다. 특히 인터넷의 발달과 전자책(e-Book) 시장규모가 커짐에 따라 도서에 대한 정보가 많아지고 있으며, 이러한 정보를 분석하여 활용하는 서비스 시스템에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 현재 서비스되고 있는 대부분의 온라인 서점에서는 도서의 기본 서지정보와 같이 도서 본문 내용과는 무관한 출판사나 서점에서 도서를 관리하기 위한 정보만을 제공하고 있으며, 도서에 대한 다양한 정보를 활용한 키워드 추출 및 장르 분류를 통한 검색의 효율성 제공이 미흡한 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 도서의 본문 텍스트 정보를 마이닝 처리하여 도서 페이지의 흐름에 따라 포함되어있는 장르를 분류하고 이에 대한 결과를 사용자에게 친화적인 시각화 기법으로 제공되는 시스템을 설계하고 구축하였다. 제안한 서비스 시스템은 의미 분석을 기반으로 도서 정보의 구체적, 실제적, 직관적 정보를 제공하여 도서 추천 서비스에 활용될 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze user behaviors of books in detail based on circulation data in an academic library. It analyzes circulation patterns of books for ten years from 2006 to 2015, which are surprisingly similar every year. Each pattern follows 'Loan books 20/50 rule' that 20% core collection occupies 50% of its circulation every year. This clarifies users' circulation patterns are highly consistent and very expectable. Also, using the cumulative distribution of book age, it defines the half-life of books and suggests the mathematical formula to measure it. Circulation patterns of the whole loan book and core collection for ten years are very different in terms of subjects, user groups, and divisions. This indicates that core collection plays a significant role in analyzing circulation statistics and usage patterns for the efficient collection development in the future.

In this study, overlapping recommended books in different schools were positively analyzed and the extent to which the recommended books leading to actual loan was statistically analyzed. The purpose of the study is to confirm the effects of recommended books by analyzing the data and extracting the proofs. For the method of research, eighteen elementary schools' recommended book lists and thirteen elementary schools' loan data were collected and compared by schools, by grades in a basic statistical analysis method. The result shows that recommended books similarity was low and recommended books affected the total volume of lend books. Loan frequency by grades showed the difference and in every school, lower grades had high loan frequency. The result of this study will be applied as basic data for applying recommended books in school libraries.
