In this study, SNA analysis was conducted to examine changes in passenger movements in domestic coastal shipping. The validity of derivation of centrality rankings was enhanced by using the connection centrality that reflected weights, which had not been applied in previous research. The results of the connection centrality analysis indicated that the network composition ratio of the South Sea region was high, and the results of analysis of betweenness centrality indicated that ports belonging to the South Sea region recorded high ranks. Jeju Island, which acts as a gateway to the West Sea and the South Sea, Mokpo, which acts as a gateway between the land and islands, those ports that are geographically close to the land, and those ports that are smoothly connected to small ports, were shown to have betweenness centrality. Meanwhile, in the results of analysis of eigenvector centrality, not only ports in the South Sea region but also many ports in the West Sea region were included in the high ranked ones. Using these results, the port authority can identify major ports in domestic coastal shipping, determine the priorities support, identify the current situation of the port connection relations, and establish strategies for management of key development areas. As future studies, studies in the aspect of economy that separate general passengers and island passengers and utilize data such as fares, distances, and time are necessary.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of 90 domestic passenger shipping routes using the DEA Window model as a Decision Making Unit (DMU). Data from 2015 to 2019 are divided into three windows, and efficiency was analyzed by using the number of passenger ships of sails, gross tonnage and distance traveled as input variables and transportation performance of the general public and islanders as output variables. As a result of the analysis, improvements are derived and presented for routes with low relative efficiency. In particular, the efficiency is evaluated for general routes operated by private operators as profit routes and auxiliary routes supported by the government as non-profit routes. In addition, scale efficiency (SE) is derived by using the technical efficiency (TE) of the CCR model and the pure technical efficiency (PTE) values of the BCC model. It is found that the inefficiency of the route was due to pure technical efficiency (PTE) rather than scale efficiency (SE). It will be necessary to consider the improvements for each route shown in the analysis results of this study when establishing the policy for the domestic passenger shipping route.

Regardless of area, public libraries should establish its status as the knowledge and information service center, cultural enjoyment and lifelong learning space in close contact with everyday life. To do this, it is necessary to survey the citizen's perception of the public library. In this study, researchers investigated and analyzed the perception of Daegu citizens including the weight and importance of public libraries, library use status and reasons for non-use, reading program participation and reasons for non-participation, and regions that require new library facilities. Based on these results, researchers suggested the measures to strengthen the infrastructure of public library and to increase its use in conjunction with other relevant data, that is, domestic and international researches, related laws, national reading survey, national cultural infrastructure overview, Daegu citizen survey, Daegu city brand perception survey, and the status of public libraries in national and Daegu Metropolitan City.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between media richness, media usefulness, media experience and media decision in order to identify factors that determine the media of school library in solving performance evaluation tasks. For this purpose, 132 primary and middle school students were surveyed and their structural equation was set up by hypothesis setting, validity test, and causal model. As a result, it was confirmed that media experience of school library is a major factor in media decision. Also, media richness and media experience appeared to influence media decision through media usefulness. The analysis implies that school library is centered on teaching - learning process and evaluation, so information literacy education should be carried out in school curriculum and school library is required to provide students experience on media as the center of school education.

The goal of this study is to review the importance and to prove the feasibility of establishment and operation of the academic collaborative repositories in Korea. To that end, its importance was analyzed from the sides of collection space of libraries, national management of academic information resources, cases of collaborative repository. And its feasibility was logically proved in terms of the global production and distribution of knowledge and information, library relevant laws, national policies of academic information resources, and actual collection space of academic libraries. As a result, the importances and feasibilities of establishment of the academic collaborative repository were revealed by enough. Accordingly, there is a need to develop immediately the establishment and operation model of the collaborative repository for academic libraries.

Due to the settlement of the ICT environment and the widespread dissemination of Net media, the quantitative digital divide based on access to information has evolved into the formation of a qualitative digital divide. In the current information environment where enormous amounts of information exist on the Internet, there is a deeper intellectual digital divide that is different from the existing quantitative and qualitative digital divide. This study identified the changes in digital divide resulted from the evolution of information environment and empirically verified the formation of the intellectual digital divide. It also demonstrated that the intellectual digital divide is not distinct from the existing quantitative and qualitative digital divide, but from differences in the intellectual capacity of the information based on the factors of the existing digital divide. In particular, it was confirmed that the educational and economic levels, which have been the key factors of the traditional digital divide, still form the quantitative and qualitative digital divide, and also act as the key factors in the formation of the intellectual digital divide.

Although BIBFRAME is recognized as a new bibliographic standard that can replace the existing MARC structure, the vastness of the descriptive items shows many limitations to be applied in library communities. Thus this study proposed separating the descriptive levels of BIBFRAME as a way to enhance the applicability of BIBFRAME. The descriptive level of BIBFRAME was divided into three stages: core, standard, and detailed levels based on the bibliographic area of ISBD 2011. This separation was semantically implemented using RDF/RDFS syntax. The levels of description in BIBFRAME was defined as Class Granularity and Class Element, and the Property Relation was defined for the linkage between the Classes defined and the BIBFRAME. By applying this syntactic structure, the relationships between the BIBFRAME descriptive items separated by each descriptive level could be linked with each other. This approach is expected to ensure applicability in the creation and sharing of bibliographic data using BIBFRAME.

The research aims to develop the courses for librarians' continuing education to build up multicultural competencies in library services. In order to achieve the purpose, the study designed the research processes as followings: first, multicultural environment analyses with various materials such as statistics or national reports; second, librarians' and multicultural users' needs analyses of multicultural library services and library works; third, job competency analyses through reviewing related laws, rules, guidelines for library multicultural services, etc. On the basis of the results from the three-step analysis phases, the study deducted the candidate courses for librarians' multicultural education. After testing validity of the candidate courses by expert panels on library multicultural services, the research suggested the final 16 courses and follow-up research projects for designing and implementing the suggested courses in real class fields.

The purpose of this study is to explore factores for subject teachers to actively participate in the LBI by establishing a relationship model between the acceptance variable and the variable for LBI and verifying with a structural equation based on the UTAUT model that explains the relationship between the variables that affect the process of accepting and utilizing the new information technology. As a result of the study, first, the performance expectancy and social influence of the subject teachers on LBI influenced the intention of teaching. Second, behavioral intention affected use behavior. Third, there were moderating effects of LBI perceived risk level on the relationship of subject teachers' social influence on LBI to behavioral intention. Based on the results above, performance expectancy, social influence, and perceived risks should be considered for activating LBI of subject teachers.
