지금까지 전자저널 서비스를 대상으로 한 연구는 정보원으로써의 전자저널에 대한 접근성의 문제나 비용문제에 중점을 두고 이루어져왔으며, 전자저널 서비스에 대한 이용자집단의 정보이용행태에 관한 연구는 대학교수를 대상으로 수행된 것 외에는 거의 찾아볼 수가 없었다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관의 주요 이용자집단 중의 하나인 대학원생, 특히 인문계열과 공학계열 대학원생들의 전자저널에 대한 정보 요구 및 이용행태에 관해 과학적${\cdot}$체계적인 분석을 통하여 대학도서관이 효율적인 전자저널 서비스를 수행하는데 있어서의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다.

The purposes of this study are to investigate the perception and satisfaction of parents about e-books and to suggest ways to improve library e-book services. A user survey of one hundred twenty parents is carried for library use, computer use, and e-book user / non user behavior, library e-book service evaluation, selection of children's e-books and so on. Based upon the results, proactive library e-book service promotion such as public relations and e-book user education, easy access to e-book collections, recognition of e-book services at libraries, positions for e-book librarians and their professional continuing education, and self-evaluation of library e-book services.

This study analysed the user behaviors and satisfaction for the government information service of Nation Assembly Library of Korea, based on the questionnaires from users including the legislative employees and other library users. The results showed that legislative employees used the services more often and have more needs for the services than other users. Most legislative employees and other library users evaluated that the services should be improved and that it would be desirable to develop a portal system and services providing the integrated search and offering government information as one stop service.

This study aims to investigate the influence of undergraduate students' personal characteristics on the use behaviors of library mobiles and its contents. We used gender, major, grade, university, perceived usefulness, personal innovativeness, and smartphone dependency variables to measure their personal characteristics. We conducted a survey with 309 undergraduate students who belong to two universities. The results showed that the major, grade, perceived usefulness, and innovativeness variables significantly influenced the use frequency of library mobiles, while the gender, major, university, and smartphone dependency ones did the use pattern of library mobile contents. Based on the results, we proposed three methods for constructing an efficient university library mobile.

This research begins from the recognition that the Korean library OPACs have failed in reflecting the information needs of children, and especially the behavioral aspects of digital kids. Maintaining such problem recognition, this research examines the weak points and limits of Korean OPACs for digital kids, and explores the possible solutions. In details, identified at the first hand is digital kids' library use behavior, in particular, their search behavior of library OPACs. Also discussed is on the development of a new generation OPAC for digital kids. The data were collected from a survey with 545 elementary school students, in-depth interviews with 8 carefully selected students among the survey participants, and a direct observation on the children's information search process in 6 libraries.

With the increase in smartphone ownership and Internet usage using smartphones, the information environment is shifting from the existing PC to the smart mobile. The current undergraduate students are called Generation Z who prefer smartphones to PCs and video contents to texts. This study attempted to understand their usage behaviors of electronic resources in an academic library in a smart mobile environment. This study conducted a usage statistics analysis with 61,433 usage records of e-books, audiobooks, and e-learning contents and 1,595 records of users in the A academic library during 3 years from 2016 to 2018. The scope of the data includes the date of use, the subject, the year of publication, the channel of use, and each user's gender, affiliation, status, admission date, and graduation date. This study investigated not only the general characteristics of electronic resource use, but also the usage behaviors according to the user's demographic characteristics. Based on the findings, this study suggested practical service plans that are applicable in the near future and reflect changing circumstances.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of school library personnel on students' reading behaviors and to identify differences between schools on it. For this purpose, this study surveyed 5,349 elementary, middle and high school students from 154 schools across Korea, and conducted a survey on reading environment, school library, and DLS. The results of the analysis showed that the students at the school where teacher librarians works are more likely to read books, participate in various reading programs, receive more help from teacher librarians in selecting books to read, lending more books, have more experience with DLS and satisfaction with it. The differences between the schools were in the order of 'classes which school library personnel took part in,' 'number of borrowed books,' 'help in selecting books,' 'average reading time per day,' 'number of home books,' 'reading in school library.' Therefore, it is necessary to expand the placement of school library personnel and develop their professionalism in order to prevent inequality in the educational environment between schools.

The primary questions addressed by this research are the followings: Have the OPAC interfaces of children's libraries been designed user-friendly; What difficulties have OPAC searchers experienced in using OPACs; How do they perceive the system after searching it; Through the answers of those questions the problems of OPACs for children as searching tools have been grasped and recommendations have been suggested in order to improve the OPAC interfaces. An experiment was conducted and 28 children of grades 4 to 6 performed 5 searching tasks. The searching behavior of OPAC searchers has been analyzed thoroughly. The data of their perceptions about the system was collected through a questionnaire after completing the tasks.

대학도서관 웹사이트는 도서관의 이용을 원활하게 하고 정보자료에의 접근을 용이하게 하기 위해서 구성된다. 따라서, 웹사이트를 통해 도서관 서비스에 대한 안내, 이용자의 편의를 위한 온라인 참고봉사 서비스, 과거 수동적인 자세가 아닌 능동적인 정보제공서비스 뿐만 아니라 다양한 이용자의 사용행태를 파악하여 이를 통해서 서비스의 질을 높이고, 이용자의 요구사항을 파악하여 도서관 서비스를 개선해나가는 것이 중요한 화두가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 충남대학교 도서관 웹사이트를 대상으로 설문조사(Questionnaire)와 발견적 평가(Heuristic Evaluation)를 통해서 대학도서관 웹사이트의 사용성에 있어서의 문제점을 발견하고 개선점을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study is to review current issues in practices of acquisition, organization and access to the web resources operating at libraries. Literature reviews were conducted to analyze patterns of access to the web resources, such as electronic journals, bibliographic databases and web sites used at libraries. Also analyzed was information seeking behaviors of researchers how they access to web resources.
