MMS Data Accuracy Evaluation by Distance of Reference Point for Construction of Road Geospatial Information (도로공간정보 구축을 위한 기준점 거리 별 MMS 성과물의 정확도 평가)

  • Precise 3D road geospatial information is the basic infrastructure for autonomous driving and is essential data for safe autonomous driving. MMS (Mobile Mapping System) is being used as equipment for road spatial information construction, and related research is being conducted. However, there are insufficient studies to analyze the effect of the baseline reference point distance, which is an important factor in the accuracy of the MMS outcome, on the accuracy of the outcome. Therefore, in this study, the accuracy of the data acquired using MMS by reference point distance was analyzed. Point cloud data was constructed using MMS for the road in the study site. For data processing, 4 data were constructed considering the distance from the reference point for MMS data, and the accuracy was analyzed by comparing the results of 12 checkpoints for accuracy evaluation. The accuracy of the MMS data showed a difference of -0.09 m to 0.11 m in the horizontal direction and 0.04 m to 0.19 m in the height direction. The error in the vertical direction was larger than that in the horizontal direction, and it was found that the accuracy decreased as the distance from the reference point increased. In addition, as the length of the road increases, the distance from the reference point may vary, so additional research is needed. If the accuracy evaluation of the method using multiple reference points is made in the future, it will be possible to present an effective method of using reference points for the construction of precise road spatial information.

  • 최근 공간정보에 대한 수요가 급증하고, 짧은 갱신주기를 요구하는 경우가 증가함에 따라 상업적인 목적으로 모바일매핑시스템이 자체개발 과정을 거쳐 실용화 서비스를 적용하고 있는 추세이다. 해외에서는 공공 및 민간부문으로 나뉘어 활발히 개발 및 운용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 모바일매핑시스템의 국내 외 동향 분석과 도로 및 주변 시설물의 파손과 변화에 따른 도로시설물모니터링에 모바일매핑시스템의 활용성을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 실사영상을 기반으로 동작하는 내비게이션에서 핵심적인 역할을 담당하고 있는 모듈 가운데 하나인 도로객체인식 모듈의 기능에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 이 모듈은 기존의 맵 기반의 내비게이션에서 찾아볼 수 없는 부분이며, 실사 영상위에 차량의 경로를 안내하기 위해서는 이 모듈을 통해 다양한 도로객체를 인식해야 하는데, 주행차선인식, 주행차로인식 및 신호등 인식이 필요하며 경우에 따라서는 건물인식이 여기에 포함될 수 있다.

  • The popularity of smart devices and Location Based Services (LBSes) is increasing in part due to users demand for personalized information associated with their location. These services provide intuitive and realistic information by adopting Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This technology utilizes various sensors embedded in the mobile devices. However, these services have inherent problems due to the devices small screen size and the complexity of the real world environment; overlapping content on a small screen and placing icons without considering the user's possible movement. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a Mobile Augmented Reality Model with the application of Street Data. The model consists of two layers: "Real Space" and "Information Space". In the model, a user creates a query by scanning the nearby street with a camera in real space and searches accessible content along the street through the use of the information space. Furthermore, the results are placed on both sides of the street to solve the issue of Overlapping. Also, the proposed model is implemented for region "Aenigol", and the efficiency and usefulness of the model are verified.

  • Visibility of the road influence the safe driving because it recognizes the obstacle on the road. In this paper, we propose a mobile data acquisition and processing system for evaluating road visibility at night. And it was converted efficiently with mobile images and archived for spatial analysis of road-visibilities at night. This was applied to the following techniques to the system. Low-power computing units, open an image processing library, GPU-based acceleration techniques and document database techniques, etc. And converting the RGB image to the YUV color system, which was integrated the brightness component and the spatial information. High performance Android devices were used to collect brightness data on roads and it was confirmed whether this prototype was to determine the spatial distribution of such acquisition and management systems for spatial-assessments of road visibility at night.

  • Many of the traffic accidents on roads are a result of alignment defect of the roads. This alignment of the road needs to lie analyzed with accuracy for improving design of road, and it needs the design drawing of road, and coordinates of the main point. Accordingly, in this study the precision of location based on existing design drawing was compared with the data acquired by the combination of RTK GPS/GLONASS. The result of study is included within range 5cm, we would like to propose an effective and useful approach method to utilize the satellite for road alignment information system by evaluating the represented road alignment.

  • 인터넷이나 모바일 기기를 이용한 지도 서비스를 이용하는 사용자가 많아지고 그에 따라 다양한 형태의 서비스가 제공되고 있어 이를 위한 자료 구축의 필요성이 커지고 있다. 이종의 자료를 Conflation하여 직관적으로 사용자가 공간정보를 얻을 수 있게 하기 위해서는 자료 간에 공간 편이가 없어야 하나 다양한 원인으로 인해 공간 불일치가 발생하고 있어 이를 조정하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해서 도로의 교차로에서 템플릿을 형성하고 도로 후보영상과 매칭을 수행하여 자료간 조정을 수행하였다.

Simplification of Moving Object Trajectory on Road Networks (도로 네트워크 상의 이동 객체 궤적의 간략화)

  • In order to analyze moving object trajectories on road networks, its representation needs to be defined correctly. The most previous methods representing moving object trajectories on road networks defined moving object trajectories as a set of passed location and its time. It is required much time in processing analysis such as retrieval for moving object trajectories. In this paper, we focus on POI(Points of Interest) on road networks and propose methods simplifying moving object trajectories based on it. Our method simplifies moving object trajectories by reducing the number of POIs that moving object trajectories passed and maintains its form after moving object trajectories were simplified.

  • Recently, advances in mobile communication and location identifying technology of the moving object is evolving. Therefore, the location-based services based on request for service have increased and a variety of the indexing for the position management of moving objects has been studied. Because the index based on Euclidean space are no restriction of movement, it is difficult to apply to the real world. Also, there is additional cost to find adjacent road segments in road networks-based indexing. Existing studies of fixed static objects such as buildings or hospitals are not considered. In this paper, we propose an efficient road networks-based indexing for management of current positions. The proposed indexing partitions road networks by grids and has integrated road connection informations and manage separated extra indexing for fixed static objects. Through the experiment, we show that the proposed indexing based on road networks improves the performance of operation for search or update than existing indexing.
