유리면 보온재 구매난$2\sim3$년은 지속될 듯 - 설비공사업계 공동구매등 대책강구 시급 -

  • 2백만호 주택건설을 비롯한 국내건설경기의 활황이 연 3년째 지속되고 있는 가운데 자재난, 인력난, 노임단가의 급상승 등은 건설경기의 활황 이면에 어두운 그림자를 던져주고 있다. 특히 자재가격의 상승 및 구득난은 공사원가의 상승 및 공기의 자연 등으로 이어져 건설경기의 압박요인으로 작용하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 현상은 설비공사업계에도 미치고 있는 것으로서 만성적인 자재구득난의 하나로 지적되어온 위생도기류는 대량 수입과 생산시설의 증가 등으로 해소될 기미를 보이고 있으나 최근들어 유리면보온재 및 밸브류, 강관, 주철관등은 아직도 구득이 어려운 실정이다. 본지는 설비공사업계에서 심각한 구득난을 빚고 있는 보온재, 위생도기, 밸브류 등을 차례로 점검, 진단해 본다.

  • Electronic Travel Aids (ETA) developed for the blind such as sonicguide, mowat sensor and bionic C-5 laser cane have many problems like technical deficiency and high cost. Moreover, these systems have need for more training to perceive obstacle around. Therefore, In this study, we studied the blind's obstacle perception characteristics by human auditory sense, and development of ultrasonic ETA which have more simple usage, low cost and immediate usableness than present ETAs.

  • 대용량 BLDC 모터의 진동과 소음의 원인은 영구자석과 슬롯형상에 의한 코깅토크와 전류 파형에 의한 고주파이다. 특히 대용량 BLDC의 경우 코깅토크에 의한 진동 및 소음의 영향이 상대적으로 큰 값을 가지게 되며, 본 연구는 5MW급 연구자석형 전동기에서 코깅토크 발생원인 중 하나인 영구자석의 형상을 최적화하기 위하여 RSM(Response Surface Method)과 민감도기법을 적용하여 코깅토크 저감을 위한 연구를 하였다. FEM에 의해서 자속밀도분포와 토크를 계산하고, 1개의 목적함수와 3개의 설계변수를 설정하여 최적화 하였다. FEM과 최적화기법(RSM+민감도기법)을 결합하여 영구자석의 형상을 최적화한 결과 코깅토크의 ripple이 최대 20%정도로 감소되었으며, 목적함수와 설계변수의 개수에 따라 더욱 개선될 수 있다.

  • This paper describes introductory remarks on risk management and risk-based design for ships and offshore installations with potential hazards. Clients' requirements on safety and performance was related to the risk management and risk-based design. A general procedure for risk-based design was also suggested with each step explained in detail. Various risk-based design approaches were emphasized with their needs and methodological characteristics taken into account. Related rules, standards, and regulations were summarized. The last part included recommendations for Korean ship building industries about the risk management and risk-based design.

  • In this paper, a sensitivity of the gravity acceleration $(0{\sim}1G)$ for a fiber-optic accelerometer is demonstrated. A single mode optical fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer was used to detect the change in optical path length produced by the strain in the fiber from probe mass about 1 gram. The phase conversion gain of the piezoelectric cylinder in the reference arm with this system measures 0.88rad./v.

  • 22.9kV 50MVA HTS power cable has been developed and tested by Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute and LS Cable Company and it was supported by a grant from Center for Applied Superconductivity Technology of the 21st Century Frontier R&D Program. In this paper, DC Ic of 100m HTS cable which is installed at Kochang testing station was measured and analyzed. A measurement technique of DC Ic used by resistance and inductance removal method is established.

  • The electrical insulation design of 600 kJ conduction cooled high-Tc superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) have been studied in this paper. The high voltage is applied to both ends of magnet of high-Tc SMES by quench or energy discharge. Therefore. the insulation design of the high voltage needs for commercialization. stability. reliability and so on. In this study. we analyzed the insulation composition of a high-Tc SMES. and investigated about the insulation characteristics of the materials such as Kapton. AIN. $Al_2O_3$. GFRP and vacuum in cryogenic temperature. Base on these results. the insulation design for 600 kJ conduction cooled high-Tc SMES was performed.
