Recently XML is becoming a de facto standard for online data exchange between heterogeneous systems and also the research of streaming XML data filtering comes into the spotlight. Since streaming XML data filtering technique needs rapid matching of queries with XML data, it is required that the query processing should be efficiently performed. Until now, most of researches focused only on partial sharing of path expressions or efficient predicate processing and they were work for time and space efficiency. However, if containment relationship between queries is previously calculated and the lowest level query is matched with XML data, we can easily get a result that high level queries can match with the XML data without any other processing. That is, using this containment technique can be another optimal solution for streaming XML data filtering. In this paper, we suggest an efficient XML data filtering based on prime number indexing and containment relationship between queries. Through some experimental results, we present that our suggested method has a better performance than the existing method. All experiments have shown that our method has a more than two times better performance even though each experiment has its own distinct test purpose.
In general, bus system consumes a very significant portion of power in a chip. Bus splitting can be used to reduce the energy dissipation and to reduce the Propagation delay on the bus by lowering the parasitic load of each bus segment. Data exchange probability distribution between a set of interconnected processing elements affects the average energy dissipation of the splitted bus architectures. In this research, we have developed tree-based bus splitting techniques and design methodologies, as an extension of horizontally aligned bus splitting. We have developed the methodology to select near-optimal bus architectures for low energy dissipation when data exchange probability distribution of a system is given. Experimental results show that the proposed techniques can reduce energy dissipation on the bus by up to 83$\%$.

This paper explains design and implementation of Multimedia E-mail system as a research on multimedia service. It is based on MIME(Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) which extends RFC822. MIME is a standard mail tran sfer protocol which can include multiple objects in a single message, represent non-textual material such as images and audio, exchange without loss of multimedia information through SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). It is implementation of Multimedia Mail system which can store, delete, edit and tran sfer multimedia mail misgave in user friendly way on UNIX system. It aims tp develope framework for multimedia E-mail system.
The number of XML documents, which are widely used as a standard method for information expression and exchange in the web-based environment, increases rapidly along with the growing production of large XML documents. Many studies have been made to store and retrieve these XML documents on RDBMS, among which Shared Inlining storage method has a higher level of retrieval efficiency. The Shared Inlining method is the technique that analyzes the DTD information and stores the XML document in RDBMS by dividing for each node component. This study proposes the technique to resolve the overlapping problem that occurs in the element with several child nodes in the existing Shared Inlining method. The suggested method stores the XML document in the Shared Inlining structures appropriate to the DTD definition and enhances the accuracy of retrieval.
While a lot of important information is being sent and received on the Internet, the information could be exposed to many threats, and the more the Multicast Service is various and generalized, the more the service range is widened. When a new member joins in or leaves from the Multicast Group, the Group Key, which the existing member use for, should be newly updated. The existing method had a problem that the performance was depreciated by the key exchanging. This paper proposes the effective group management mechanism for a secure transmission of the Multicast Data on the Multicast Group.

For interchange of multimedia informations and presentation as intented by objects composer, there are need to interchange format of informations and control synchronization between medias. And It is therefore need to provide a method and apparatus for synchroniztion control of multimedia objects which can control the conditional, temporal. and spatial synchronization in a MHEG engine developed to execute the functions defined as the international standards. In this paper. We propose to improved method and apparatus for synchronization control of multimedia objects which can execute the synchronized presentation by combining media data needed for presentation of multimedia information, and which enable the interactive processing between the user and the MHEG engine by allowing the user input to be processed during presentation.
Currently, it is possible to buy almost anything from books(Amazon.com) to airplane tickets(Travelocity.com) using the world wide web. The purpose of this research is to develop a "clean interface" between design and fabrication facilities for the production of custom machined parts through Internet. The current mechanism for production of prototype parts that can be fabricated using standard machine tools like milling machines, requires a process of part description preparation, bidding, contract award, and finally fabrication and delivery of the part. This is a substantially more complex process than buying a book or airplane ticket. In this paper, we try to define the ambiguous part description using XML based data exchange format and to enable e-commerce in this field. The research accomplishments are summarized: 1. Creation of a new format for data exchange of machined prototype parts, 2. Development of a prototype system to illustrate how the XML data can be effectively used to conduct e-Commerce for custom machined parts, 3. Testing of the methodology with a number of parts.

The $^1H-nmr$ lineshapes of $H_2O$ in the solution containing $Al^{3+}$ ion have been measured as a function of temperature and $H^+$-ion concentration. Above [$H^+$] = 0.06, the lineshape were analyzed by the uncoupled two-site exchange model. From the proton exchange rate between hexaaquaaluminium ion and bulk water as a function of H-ion concentration. These kinetic data could be fitted to a following linear rate law; that is; 1/${\tau}$ = k$_1$/12 + $k_2$[$H^+$]/6. The following proton exchange parameters were obtained; $k_1^{298}$ = 38.5s$^{-1}$${\{Delta}H_1^{\neq}$ = $42.9kJ mole^{-1}$${\{Delta}S_1^{\neq}$ = -48.6J $mole^{-1}K^{-1}$$k_2^{298}$ = $172s^{-1}mole^{-1}$${\{Delta}H_2^{\neq}$ = 27.8kJ $mole^{-1}$${\{Delta}S_2^{\neq}$ = -90.3J $mole^{-1}K^{-1}$ These activation parameters are indicating an associative interchange, Ia, mechanism for the acid-hydrolysis of hexaaquaaluminium ion and the proton exchange between the hydration spheres of $Al^{3+}$ and $H^+$.
Collaborative systems allow users, who may be far removed from each other geographically, to do collaborative work such as 3D animation, computer game, and industrial design in a single virtual space. This paper describes our experience to develop a collaborative system framework that aims at expanding the some functions of a stand-alone visual modeling tool, called 3D Studio Max, into those of the distributed collaborative working environments. The paper mainly deals with design and implementation of a 3D shared-object Plug-In with respect to the 3D Studio Max Plug-In Software Development Kit in the distributed collaborative system developed by the authors. There are two major functions of the proposed scheme; one is to write 3D object-information to the shared memory after extracting it from the 3D Studio Max, the other is to create 3D objects after retrieving them from the shared memory. Also, the proposed scheme provides a simple way of storing 3D objects that have variable size, by means of shared memory which located in between the collaborative system clients and 3D studio Max. One of the remarkable virtures of the Plug-In is to reduce a considerable amount of shared object data which in consequence can mitigate the network overhead. This can be achieved by the fact that the system is able to extract a minimum amount of 3D objects that are required to transmit. Also, using the proposed scheme, user can facilitate 3D Studio Max into distributed collaborative working environments. This, in consequence give many benefits such as saving time as well as eliminating space constraints in the course of 3D modeling when we are under industrial design process.
