Artificial Intelligence(AI) Fundamental Education Design for Non-major Humanities (비전공자 인문계열을 위한 인공지능(AI) 보편적 교육 설계)

  • With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, AI utilization capabilities are being emphasized in various industries, but AI education design and curriculum research as universal education is currently lacking. This study offers a design for universal AI education to further cultivate its use in universities. For the AI basic education design, a questionnaire was conducted for experts three times, and the reliability of the derived design contents was verified by reflecting the results. As a result, the main competencies for cultivating AI literacy were data literacy, AI understanding and utilization, and the main detailed areas derived were data structure understanding and processing, visualization, word cloud, public data utilization, and machine learning concept understanding and utilization. The educational design content derived through this study is expected to increase the value of competency-centered AI universal education in the future.

  • The objective of this study is to suggest the contents of education for software for Undergraduates who are not majoring in IT to cultivate creative and convergent people to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution. In the background, this study investigated the relationship between design thinking and computing thinking factors and examined the direction of software education to develop creative problem solving abilities. Two specialist questionnaires and focus group interviews were used to derive two levels of content elements for design thinking based computing thinking. According to the results of the analysis, This research is based on the process of design thinking, focusing on diffuse thinking at the first level, and the whole contents are composed. The process of producing a prototype was used to derive the computational thinking contents necessary for problem solving. This study focuses on convergent thinking at the second level and draws out the contents of computing thought to embody the first level contents of various ideas and stories into computing. It is expected that this study will be used as basic data to develop the content and method of education as SW education for non - major subject in university.

  • This paper reviews the topic of GIS, the academic setting of GIS, GIS model curricula and the possibility GIS education in Korea. The topics which might be included in a science of geographic information consist of data collection and measurement, data capture, spatial statistics, data modeling and theories of spatial data, data structures, algorithms and processes, display, analytical tools, institutional, managerial and ethical issues. The problems in teaching a course on GIS in higher education are reviewed. Because of their technological, integrative, and rapidly changing nature, GIS pose major challenges to their education system which it is ill equipped to meet. In higher education a number of initiatives have been taken to provide education about and training with, GIS. The possible GIS curricula are suggested. These curricula are divided into 3 major sections, relating GIS context, technical issues and application issues. The prospects of GIS appears lo depend largely upon the future cooperation of academia, government, and industry

3차 분기집합의 2-주기 성분에 관한 기하학적 성질 연구

  • 본 논문에서는 맨델브로트(Mandelbrot) 집합의 개념을 3차의 복소 다항식 z^3$+c 에 확장시켜 3차 분기집합을 정의하고, 이 집합의 2-주기 성분의 경계선 방정식과 관련 기하학적 성질을 고등학교 및 대학에서 다루는 미적분학 관점에서 분석하고자 한다. 복소수, 삼각함수, 매개함수, 함수의 극값, 미분 및 적분 등의 기초 이론을 활용하여 2-주기 성분의 경계선 방정식을 매개함수로 표시하고, 경계선의 내부 면적, 둘레 길이, 무게중심 등을 이론적으로 기술한다. 수학 소프트웨어인 매스매티카(Mathematica)를 활용하여 2-주기성분의 작도 및 기하학적 성질에 관한 수치 해석적 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

  • 정보시스템의 취약성을 사전에 예방하고 보안을 강화하기 위해 여러 가지 방안이 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소프트웨어의 소스코드 수준에서의 보안성을 확보하기 위해 소스코드 자체의 보안 위험성을 검사하는 도구를 제안한다. 개발자에 의해 무심코 사용되는 위험 함수들을 검출하고 그 대안을 제시하여 소프트웨어 내부에 잠재되는 보안 위협을 예방하는 도구를 개발하고자 한다.

  • This study selected college students in Anhui Province as the research subjects and used a questionnaire survey method to understand the current implementation status of the integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education. The survey results indicate that college students have insufficient awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship; Poor integration of curriculum construction. This study analyzes the reasons for the problems from four aspects: the government, enterprises, and universities, as well as the subjective will of students. Based on qualitative and quantitative research, the following countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: firstly, strengthen top-level design; Secondly, promote the integration of curriculum construction; Thirdly, expand the teaching staff; Fourthly, a practical platform for school enterprise co creation; Fifth, cultivate students' innovative awareness and guide innovative practice.

The Effects of SW Education Using EPL and Coding robot on the Computational thinking and Problem solving (EPL 및 코딩 로봇 활용 SW교육이 컴퓨팅 사고력과 문제해결력에 미치는 효과)

  • This study attempted to examine the effects of SW education using EPL and coding robots on computing thinking and problem-solving skills among various teaching and learning methods of software education. To this end, a survey was conducted on 350 students from middle schools A and B in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do, and the difference in mean was analyzed through t-verification and one-way analysis of variance in order to investigate the relationship between variables. Based on the research results obtained through this, we will identify the effects, strengths, and weaknesses of SW education using EPL and coding robots, provide basic data and information for efficient teaching and learning methods of SW education, and further suggest better directions in terms of academic and practical aspects.

  • The importance of software technologies is becoming more prominent because of the competition to secure a competitive edge in software, which has been intensified since the emergence of smartphones and IoT. Thus, to assure the initiative in the global software industry and to foster superior human resources, there is a growing need for outstanding software development professionals. This paper analyzes the factors that affect the basic perception of software, the need for software development, and the enhancement of software coding ability based on a compulsory software class, which aims to increase the workforce of the converged software industry. The analysis shows that among other technical practices to enhance coding ability, learner-centered technical contents showed the most positive effect regarding the recognition and motive of development and are an essential factor in improving coding skills. The findings indicate that the need for program development and active involvement in the development of the program are the most important factors in improving the practical ability. The analysis presents meaningful results by suggesting a methodology for improving software development capabilities.

  • As the use of computer has become popular it is now essential also in designing tools that the common design tools we have been using are now disappearing. The educational institutions have long started using computers as teaching materials to help students adjust to the real world. Let us introduce a new educational method in drawing, one of the basic courses, using imputer application softwares together with application of the conventional drawing instruments.

  • Humanity faces the 4th industrial revolution, many countries are providing systematic and continuous SW education to foster talent with AI capabilities. On the other hand, there are high concerns that the SW gap will widen and polarize as domestic reality does not provide systematic and continuous SW education to learners. Against this background, this study started to investigate the influence of learners' SW experience on SW education. As a result of the study targeting science and engineering students, the effect of SW experience on SW education was significant. With theses results, it is expected that various discussions will be actively conducted so that systematic and continuous SW education can be provided in elementary and secondary schools.
