Way to the Improvement of Curriculum Management by Analyzing the Perception of Writing Ability of University Students : Focusing on the Analysis of Student Surveys in J University (대학생들의 글쓰기 능력 인식 분석을 통한 교과 운영 개선 방안 : J대학의 학생 설문 분석을 중심으로)

  • This study investigated and analyzed the contents of writing learning, self-evaluation of writing ability, recognition of writing ability, and recognition of writing education direction to J university students in order to analyze the perception of writing of university students and find ways to improve writing education. Through this, the improvement plan of writing education was discussed. As a result of researching and analyzing the perceptions of university students, college students perceived writing ability as important, and they wanted practical writing classes that received feedback and wrote actual writing rather than theoretical classes. In addition, it was found that they wanted to develop their ability to construct and develop the contents of the article. In order to make writing education a practical competency for college students, theoretical lectures are important, but it is necessary to give enough time and opportunity to write in practice, and to develop customized practical writing. Also, it is necessary to make writing class that students can participate through various teaching methods, and to make writing ability lead to practical competence even after graduation through the method of university graduation certification requirements. This study is meaningful in that it can seek the direction of university writing education through the recognition of college students related to writing.

  • Social psychological suspense has been increased rapidly because of a lack of morality by individual personality and offense by dissatisfactory desire. To help safety area from the situation, a professional private security guard company is increased remarkably. Followed by data from the National Statistical Office, the security guard companies and the guards had been increased. In 1999, there were 994companies and 25,464 employees were registered but in 2004, there were 1,081companies and 35,876 employees were registered. Based on the data, Security guard becomes a popular career but we should consider that the service also has been improved. Dissatisfactory service could occur to a fastidious person. The purpose of this study is to become a trustful and respectful private guard's activity through analyze defective activities of private guards and matters of what the customer feels.

Suggesting Conceptual Framework on the Nature of Technology (NOT) and Investigating College Students' Perceptions Regarding the Nature of Technology(NOT) (기술의 본성(NOT) 개념 틀 제안 및 이공계 대학생들의 기술의 본성(NOT)에 대한 인식 탐구)

  • This study aims to suggest an inclusive conceptual framework for the Nature of Technology (NOT) by examining literature and researches regarding NOT and then to analyze the conceptions of the students in Science and Engineering Department of a college based on the NOT framework. Findings are as follows: First, the conceptual framework of the NOT developed from the study has the five domains of NOT, which are Technology as Artifacts, Technology as Knowledge, Technology as Practice, Technology as History, and Technology as a part of Society. Second, the participants' conceptions of the NOT emphasize on three domains of the Technology as Practice (26.4%), Technology as a part of Society (25.8%), and Technology as Knowledge (24.3%) among the five domains of the NOT. Third, according to the microanalysis of the students' conceptions regarding NOT, students in Science and Engineering Department of a college possess concrete and various views of the NOT even though NOT is abstract and complex ideas. Specifically, they seem to recognize the NOT as a product of process and ability to utilize the technology for convenience of life.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of need for closure on college students' problem recognition and communication behavior. Specifically, this research examined differences about situation recognitions and communication behaviors across level of need for closure factors (preference for order and structure, preference for predictability, decisiveness, discomfort with ambiguity, closed-mindeness). The results show that the participants with higher level of discomfort with ambiguity and low level of closed-mindeness are more likely to high problem recognition, constraint recognition, involvement recognition, and doing active communication behaviors.

A Study on the Perception Related to University Students without disabilities: Based on the Research Trends of Recent 10 Years (2010-2019) and Analysis of word concept (비장애대학생의 장애대학생에 대한 인식 연구: 최근 10년(2010-2019) 국내 연구동향 및 단어분석을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze research papers related to the without disabilities university students' perceptions toward the university students with the disabilities. An open questionnaire survey was conducted on a total of 141 students. The results of this study are as follows. First, two researchers, university professors as the first author, and survey method had the most. Also topics were mostly about perception, attitude, community, and integration. Independent and intermediary variables were gender, department or major, grade, experience, and inclusive education. Second, general university students were perceived as 'great', and the words 'help' and 'need' also showed high frequencies. The results of this study suggest that the study applies various educational supports and experiences for improving the awareness of students with disabilities.

Analyzing College Students' Perception of Quality Computer Class (좋은 컴퓨터 수업에 대한 대학생들의 인식 유형 분석)

  • This study is to clarify how college students think about quality computer classes. Q methodology is applied to extract the subjective thinking of college students. After extracting the statements through students' interviews and advanced study, the 54 Q samples were selected. The P sample consisted of 50 college students. They performed Q sort against the Q sample questionnaire. The Q sort results were analyzed by performing QUANL program. As a result of the analysis, four types of perceptions of quality computer classes based on college students' ideas were extracted. There were no differences between male and female students, but there was a clear difference between general college and teacher's college students by type. The types were divided into four categories which we named as follows: is 'Value change-oriented class through creative problem-solving', is 'Improving computer application skills through the learner's competition', is 'Improving advanced computer technology with programming skills' and is 'Learner centered pleasant class'.

Parent attachment correlation between parent motivation of university student (대학생이 인식한 부모애착과 부모됨의 동기에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 인식한 어머니와 아버지의 애착과 부모됨의 동기와의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 대학생들은 아버지에 대한 애착보다는 어머니에 대한 애착이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생들의 부모됨의 동기는 전체적으로 평균보다 높았지만 성별 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생들의 어머니의 의사소통과 신뢰감 애착은 아버지의 의사소통과 신뢰감의 애착과 정적상관이 있었지만 아버지의 소외감과는 부적상관이 있었다. 어머니의 애착유형 하위요인 중 어머니의 소외감 애착이 높으면 아버지와의 의사소통과 신뢰감이 낮았다. 반면 어머니의 소외감 애착이 높으면 아버지의 소외감도 높은 정적상관을 보였다. 어머니와 아버지의 애착은 부모됨의 동기와 정적상관이 있었다. 특히 어머니와 아버지에 대한 애착요소 중 의사소통과 신뢰감 애착이 높을수록 부모됨의 동기가 높았다. 본 연구결과로 볼 때, 부모와의 애착은 자신이 부모가 되고자하는 동기에 영향을 미침으로 대학생을 대상으로 하는 예비 부모교육은 대학생이 미래의 부모가 되었을 때 자녀와 애착을 잘 형성할 수 있도록 하는 내용을 포함해야 할 것이다.

University Students' Recognition of Eco-friendly Recycled PET Textiles (대학생들의 친환경 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도)

  • 본 연구에서는 친환경 리싸이클 섬유산업의 활성화를 위해 대학생들의 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도를 분석해 보고자 하였다. 측정 문항은 섬유전문가 3인의 검토를 거쳐 타당성을 확보하였으며, 조사는 질문지법으로 2011년 9월 1일부터 9월 10일까지 대전 거주 대학생을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 회수된 설문지 196부를 자료 분석에 이용하였고, SPSS 19 통계 패키지를 이용하여 자료를 통계분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 친환경적 의생활 실태 조사를 실시한 결과, 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 들어본 적이 있는 사람은 조사대상자의 27.6%로 나타났고, 그 정보원으로는 인터넷을 가장 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 섬유소재별 친환경성에 대한 인식도를 조사한 결과, 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유가 천연섬유보다 덜 친환경적이나, 인조섬유보다는 더 친환경적이라고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대한 인식도를 요인분석한 결과, <친환경성 요인>, <촉감 요인>, <내구성 요인>, <기능성 요인>, <공정 요인>, <글로벌 경쟁력 요인>및 <부가가치성 요인> 등 7개의 요인이 도출되었는데 이는 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 친환경성, 촉감, 내구성, 기능성, 공정, 글로벌경쟁력, 부가가치성순으로 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 해석된다.

A Study about Factors Influencing on Awareness toward the People with Disabilities by Undergraduate Students (대학생의 장애인식에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the factors that affect the awareness of disabled in undergraduate students. A sample of 1,998 respondents was surveyed. Of these, a total of 1,957 questionnaires were analysed excluding the 41 questionnaires that did not agree with the survey or had a missing data. The questionnaire consists of the general characteristics, experience related to disability and disability awareness and we used a 4-point Likert scale. Collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 program and descriptive statistics, t-test, variance analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. According to the results of the study, the disability awareness score of our respondents was average 40.52. Second, female students had more positive about disability awareness than male ones, and senior students had more positive awareness than other grade students. Third, non-rehabilitation department students' disability awareness was more positive than rehabilitation students. Fourth, the disability awareness of people who have a acquaintance member with disability or health worker were significantly positive. Finally, the awareness of people who experienced at the disability related institution were significantly positive. Therefore, to improve the awareness of undergraduate students about disabilities, it is required to activate positive contact experiences with people with disabilities rather than theoretical learning.

Career Cognition, Key Competency, Vocational Values of University Students and Junior College Students (대학생의 진로 관련 인식, 직업기초능력, 직업가치)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze career cognition, key competency, vocational values of university students and junior college students. The study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The population sample for the study constituted 368 completed questionnaires from sample of 373 freshmen-women of university and students. A survey questionnaire consisted of career cognition items, key competency scale, vocational values scale, and personal characteristics items. The construct validity of key competency scale and vocational values scale were confirmed by factor analysis with varimax rotation. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were employed for data analysis. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, university students and junior college students most wanted to get a job after graduate. Many students decided their career at high school days. Many students were not prepared for their career after graduate. They recognized that major curriculum of university and junior college was very helpful to prepare their career. And many students discussed with their parents about their career. Second, key competency of them was moderately high. In the items of key competencies, 'communication and following' was the highest. And key competency of university students was better than that of junior college students. Key competency of male students was better than that of female students. Third, vocational values of them were high. In the items of vocational values, 'occupational stability' was the highest, and 'work in freedom and challenge' was the lowest. 'Occupational stability' and 'work in freedom and challenge' of junior college students was higher than that of university students. And 'occupational stability' of female students was higher than that of male students.
