  • 본 논문에서는 고출력 리튬이온 18650 셀(cell) 200개를 사용하여 고출력 어플리케이션의 운용 범위와 동적 특성을 적용한 스크리닝 방법을 제안하였다. 전기적 특성 실험 기반 배터리 용량과 OCV(open circuit voltage)의 요소를 고려한 16개의 내부 파라미터를 추출하고 표준편차 기반 가중치를 선정하였다. 선정된 가중치를 각각의 요소에 적용하여 단위 셀의 대표 값을 결정하고 셀 스크리닝을 수행하였다. 기존의 스크리닝 기법과 제안된 스크리닝 기법을 200개의 단위 셀에 적용하여 두 기법의 차이를 비교 분석하였다.

  • This paper studied the mechanical characteristics of boom structures by verifying the modeling method of representing unit cells of triaxial woven fabric (TWF) composites. The modeling of the representative unit cell obtained the ABD matrix by analysing the behaviour of tensile, shear, bending, and torsion using the periodic boundary conditions for the beam element. This study aimed to validate the ABD matrix by comparing the tensile analysis output from a finite element program with the experimental results from an MTS 810 machine. Additionally, the mechanical characteristics of a TWF composite boom structure were determined through bending analysis and experiments. The findings of this research are expected to be beneficial for developing structures using TWF composites.

Analysis of Slope Stability using Cell Unit Evaluation (셀 단위 평가법을 이용한 사면의 안정성 평가)

  • When we evaluate slope stability, we regard the slope homogeneous and evaluate slope stability at the most dangerous portion of slope. However, since conditions and properties of rock mass/soil are different from one location to another within a single slope, slope stability evaluated by current concept can not represent slope correctly. This also result in over-reinforcement at the portion where reinforcement is not necessary. In order to solve these problems, we suggest a cell unit evaluation method in which we apply small rectangular cells in a slope and regard each cell as a single slope. In this method, slopes are classified into soil slope and rock slope depending on materials. Strength of rock, volumetric joint count, spacing of joints, condition of joints, ground water condition and so on are examined and SMR and condition index values are calculated. Finally, all data and results are presented as contour maps. We apply the cell unit evaluation method into 3 cut slopes. SMR values estimated by the new method are larger than those by current concept at most portions of slope, indicating that the new method suggested by this research represent slope stability more correctly than methods which were used. This method will prevent over-reinforcement at the portion of slope where reinforcement is not necessary.

  • The emergency between vehicles on the superhighway should be transmitted quickly to the following vehicles for safety of people. The message between them has been transmitted by broadcast method in an wireless environment of 802.11, so far. That causes the broadcast storm and a waste of the bandwidth of Wireless network owing to unnecessary process of sending messages to even vehicles that do not have to receive the information. The message collision is a main cause of the increase of message delay. In order to overcome the existing problem, this paper proposed a message broadcast scheme based on cell (MBC), which is the way to divide cars into different groups by cell unit and transmit messages to the members of the groups through the cell primary (cp) vehicles. This paper shows the proposed broadcast's performance in the same environment is much superior to other conventional broadcast schems for inter-vehicle communication, since the receiving ratio among the following vehicles is improved.

A Built-in Redundancy Analysis for Multiple Memory Blocks with Global Spare Architecture (최적 수리효율을 갖는 다중 블록 광역대체 수리구조 메모리를 위한 자체 내장 수리연산회로)

  • In recent memories, repair is an unavoidable method to maintain its yield and quality. Although many word oriented memories as well as embedded memories in system-on-chip (SOC) consists of multiple local memory blocks with a global spare architecture, most of previous studies on built-in redundancy analysis (BIRA) algorithms have focused on single memory block with a local spare architecture. In this paper, a new BIRA algorithm for multiple blocks with a global spare architecture is proposed. The proposed BIRA is basd on CRESTA which is able to achieve optimal repair rate with almost zero analysis time. In the proposed BIRA, all repair solutions for local memory blocks are analyzed by local analyzers which belong to each local memory block and then compared sequentially and judged whether each solution can meet the limitation of the global spare architecture or not. Experimental results show that the proposed BIRA achieves much faster analysis speed compared to previous BIRAs with an optimal repair rate.

A Linear-Time Heuristic Algorithm for k-Way Network Partitioning (선형의 시간 복잡도를 가지는 휴리스틱 k-방향 네트워크 분할 알고리즘)

  • Network partitioning problem is to partition a network into multiple blocks such that the size of cutset is minimized while keeping the block sizes balanced. Among these, iterative algorithms are regarded as simple and efficient which are based on cell move of Fiduccia and Mattheyses algorithm, Sanchis algorithm, or Kernighan and Lin algorithm. All these algorithms stipulate balanced block size as a constraint that should be satisfied, which makes a cell movement be inefficient. Park and Park introduced a balancing coefficient R by which the block size balance is considered as a part of partitioning cost, not as a constraint. However, Park and Park's algorithm has a square time complexity with respect to the number of cells. In this paper, we proposed Bucket algorithm that has a linear time complexity with respect to the number of cells, while taking advantage of the balancing coefficient. Reducing time complexity is made possible by a simple observation that balancing cost does not vary so much when a cell moves. Bucket data structure is used to maintain partitioning cost efficiently. Experimental results for MCNC test sets show that cutset size of proposed algorithm is 63.33% 92.38% of that of Sanchis algorithm while our algorithm satisfies predefined balancing constraints and acceptable execution time.

  • The relationships were studied between the range of hardening zone and the intensity of vacuum pressure in case of applying vacuum consolidation drainage method for soil improvement. A testing apparatus was made to measure the range of hardening zone varying the water content and the intensity of vacuum pressure for 3 different the highly compressible dredged clays(Gwangyang, Busan and Mokpo). In case of applying high vacuum pressure, the hardening zone is not spreaded as compared to low vacuum pressure because of the clogging of drainage and developed hardening zone near the drainage.

  • 최근 도로 네트워크 환경에서 이동 객체 위치 정보를 관리하고 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 예측하는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템의 필요성이 나날이 증가되고 있다. 이동 객체위치 예측 시스템은 교통 관제 및 다양한 응급 상황 시 이동 객체의 미래 위치를 신속히 예측하기 위해 사용되며, 보다 편리한 위치 기반 서비스의 제공을 가능하게 해준다. 이러한 시스템을 위한 대부분의 미래 인덱싱 기법은 일반적으로 이동 객체의 미래 위치 예측을 위해 과거 이동 궤적을 이용하고 있다. 그러나, 수많은 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적 관리가 어렵고, 실시간으로 변화하는 이동 객체의 미래 궤적을 반영하기 위한 방대한 미래 인덱스의 갱신 요청으로 인해 인덱스 유지 비용이 증가하여 미래 위치 질의 요청에 대한 신속한 처리 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이동 객체 위치 예측 시스템에서 방대한 이동 객체의 과거 이동 궤적으로부터 효율적으로 미래 위치를 예측하기 위해 셀 기반의 미래 인덱싱 방법인 PFCT-Tree(Probability Future Cell Trajectory-Tree)를 제시한다. PFCT-Tree는 방대한 과거 이동 궤적을 셀 단위로 재구성하여 인덱스 크기를 줄이고, 셀 내부 경험치를 기반으로 장기간 질의 시 빠른 미래 위치를 예측할 수 있다. 또한 신속한 미래 이동 궤적의 갱신 속도를 향상시키기 위해 미래 시간을 미래 궤적과 분리하여 인덱싱함으로써 위치 예측 오류로 인한 미래 인덱스 갱신 비용을 최소화 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 도로 네트워크 환경에서 PFCT-Tree가 기존 인덱싱 기법들보다 갱신 및 검색 성능이 우수함도 입증하였다.ential oil (Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Petigrain)은 농도 의존적으로 ROS 생성을 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 citrus essential oil은 MSH에 의한 melanin 생성을 억제하는 것으로 보아 미백제로서의 개발 가능성이 있는 것으로 사료된다.가 사용될 수 있음을 제시한다.찍 발견되어 크기는 작았으며, 육안적으로 폴립의 Yamada 형태의 분류는 II, III의 형태를 띠고 있었다.EX>로 한반도 후기 백악기의 고지자기극$(Lat./Long.=70.9^{\circ}N/215.4^{\circ}E,\;A_{95}=5.3^{\circ})$의 위치와 유사하므로 암석의 생성 시기는 후기 백악기로 판단하였다. 한편 함평분지에 분포하는 백악기 화산암류에서는 한 개의 정자화 방향과 두 개의 역자화 방향이 확인되었다. 이들 특성잔류자화 방향은 백악기 화산암 형성 당시 암석에 기록된 성분으로써 당시 지구자기장의 상태를 기록한 것으로 해석하였으며, 이중 정자화 방향을 함평분지 화산암의 대표 방향으로 채택하였다 함평분지 화산암의 고지자기 극의 위치는 정자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=70.2^{\circ}N/199.5^{\circ}E,\;(K=18.1,\;A_{95}=9.6^{\circ})$ 이며 역자극의 경우는 $Lat./Long.=65.5^{\circ}S/251.3^{\circ}E,\;(K=7.1,\;A_{95}=20.7^{\circ})$이다. 이중 정자극의 위치는 한반도의 후기 백악기극의 위치와 통계적으로 동일한 것으로 나타나 함평분지 화산암

An Efficient Indexing Technique for Location Prediction of Moving Objects in the Road Network Environment (도로 네트워크 환경에서 이동 객체 위치 예측을 위한 효율적인 인덱싱 기법)

  • The necessity of future index is increasing to predict the future location of moving objects promptly for various location-based services. A representative research topic related to future index is the probability trajectory prediction technique that improves reliability using the past trajectory information of moving objects in the road network environment. However, the prediction performance of this technique is lowered by the heavy load of extensive future trajectory search in long-range future queries, and its index maintenance cost is high due to the frequent update of future trajectory. Thus, this paper proposes the Probability Cell Trajectory-Tree (PCT-Tree), a cell-based future indexing technique for efficient long-range future location prediction. The PCT-Tree reduces the size of index by rebuilding the probability of extensive past trajectories in the unit of cell, and improves the prediction performance of long-range future queries. In addition, it predicts reliable future trajectories using information on past trajectories and, by doing so, minimizes the cost of communication resulting from errors in future trajectory prediction and the cost of index rebuilding for updating future trajectories. Through experiment, we proved the superiority of the PCT-Tree over existing indexing techniques in the performance of long-range future queries.

Analysis of Acoustic Target Strength for the Submarine with Alberich Anechoic Coating Effects (알베리히 무반향 코팅재 효과를 고려한 잠수함의 음향 표적강도 해석)

  • Acoustic target strength (TS) is one of the most considerable design elements for survival capacities of the submarine. It needs to reduce acoustic TS that submarines are getting larger and larger, Alberich anechoic coatings are widely used as the representative method. In this paper, the finite element method (FEM) is used to analyze the reflection and transmission coefficients of Alberich anechoic coatings, which have periodic unit cells. The FEM results are compared with experimental results in the literature. Moreover, acoustic TS for the submarine is analyzed by using that result. Finally, it is shown that acoustic TS (Case 1: 10dB, Case 2: 6dB) are reduced due to the use of Alberich anechoic coatings.
