남다른 철학과 포부로 육용종계를 사육하는 충북 보은 소재 한국농원(대표 이순구) 이성욱 관리이사를 만났다. 한국농원은 2006년 계사 4동의 농장을 인수하여 계사를 확장, 현재 2만평 부지에 150m와 143m 계사 12동(수탉계사 1동) 규모로 육용종계 12만수를 사육하고 있다. 중추는 전량 외부에서 들여오며, 농장에서는 성계만 사육하고, 부화 역시 위탁을 하고 있다.

본 연구에서는 승법 시계열모형에 있어서 계절성 존재에 대한 대표본 검정통계량으로 서 Wald, 우도비, Rao 통계량을 제안했다. 그리고 세 통계량의 극한분포를 유도하였다. 모의실험을 통하여 세 검정통계량의 경험적 유의수준과 극한분포를 구하고, 세 검정통계량의 검정력을 비교하였다.

지구에 물이 사라진다면? 각국의 나라들은 물을 구하기 위해 전쟁을 벌일 것이고 물을 많이 가진 나라가 강대국이 될 것이다. SF영화의 소재냐고? 무슨 소리! 언제든지 우리의 피부로 다가올 수 있는 현실이다. 한마디로 물을 아낄 줄 알아야 강해질 수 있다는 소리다. 그 물을 아껴 보겠다며 남들이 가지 않는 길을 가는 한성대 성북구벤처창업지원센터 입주 벤처기업 보라산업(대표 박희범, www.borasanup.com)을 소개한다.

The process of selecting a small number of representative colors from an image of higher color resolution is called color image quantization. In a color quantization process, it is vet important to determine what colors should be preserve and the others not. In our study, by the idea of an image can be divided into interesting area and uninteresting area, we propose a color quantization method that preserves more colors in the interesting area of an image. We evaluated correctness of extracting interesting area and compared the quality of our method with the others.

This Paper suggests a new feature for shot detection, using the proposed robust feature from the DC image constructed by DCT DC coefficients in the MPEG video stream, and proposes the characterizing value that reflects the characteristic of kind of video (movie, drama, news, music video etc.). The key frames are pulled out from many frames by using the local minima and maxima of differential of the value. After original frame(not do image) are reconstructed for key frame, indexing process is performed through computing parameters. Key frames that are similar to user's query image are retrieved through computing parameters. It is proved that the proposed methods are better than conventional method from experiments. The retrieval accuracy rate is so high in experiments.

경쟁적 전력 시장에서 송전 손실은 중요한 문제이다. 이를 계산하는 방법은 대표적으로 2가지가 있다. 한 방법은 조류계산을 통해 구해진 전체 유입 전력의 총합으로 전체 손실을 구하는 것이고, 다른 방법은 각 전선에 흐르는 전류와 저항으로 각 전선의 손실을 구하고 모든 전선의 손실을 합쳐 주는 방법이다. 이 2개가 동일함에도 불구하고, 직관적으로 같다는 인식을 하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이를 수식적으로 증명한다.

한국어는 잉여성과 중의성의 범 언어적인 특징과 함께 다른 언어에 비해 주어의 생략이 두드러지며 어순이 자유롭기 때문에 구문 형식의 지배를 덜 받는다는 개별적인 특성을 지닌다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 기계번역의 패턴을 추출할 때 서로 유사 가능성이 있는 패턴에 대한 고려가 없이는 같은 의미의 서로 다른 여러 개의 패턴을 모두 하나의 패턴으로 처리하는 오류를 범할 위험이 있다. 본 연구에서 사용되는 구 단위 패턴은 동사구, 명사구, 형용사구 그리고 부사구를 중심으로 한국어 패턴, 패턴 대표 카테고리, 한국어 패턴의 중심어 및 제약조건 대역영어패턴 의미코드로 나뉜다. 범 언어적인 특성의 한국어와 영어간 격차를 해소하기 위해 각각의 명사에 의미코드를 사용하여 다중 언어기반 체계를 구축하였으며. 한국어의 개별적인 특성으로 인해 발생하는 문제를 해소하기 위해 중심어 부과 자질을 사용하였다. 중심어 부과 자질에 있어서, 특히 술어기능명사를 중심어로 하는 기능동사 '하-' 구문은 다른 동사 구문의 형식과는 달리 논항의 수와 형태를 동사가 아닌 명사가 수행하게 된다. 이러한 특징에 대한 변별적인 자질 부여는 구문의 형태-통사적 특징 뿐만이 아니라 의미적인 고유의 특성까지도 잘 뒷받침하면서 패턴 추출에 월등한 효율성을 제시할 수 있다. 향후 이에 대한 연구는 전반적인 기능동사 구문뿐만이 아니라 개별적인 특징을 보이는 모든 구문에 대한 연구로 확대되어 패턴 기반 기계번역의 패턴 추출에 기본적인 정보의 역할을 담당해야 할 것이다.

Upon the human exploration era of the Moon, this paper introduces lunar topography and geologic fundamentals to space scientists. The origin of scientific terminology for the lunar topography was briefly summarized, and the extension of the current Korean terminology is suggested. Specifically, we suggest the most representative lunar topography that are useful to laymen as 1 ocean (Oceanus Procellarum), 10 maria (Mare Imbrium, Mare Serenitatis, Mare Tranuillitatis, Mare Nectaris, Mare Fecundatis, Mare Crisium, Mare Vaporium, Mare Cognitum, Mare Humorum, Mare Nubium), 6 great craters (Tyco, Copernicus, Kepler, Aristachus, Stebinus, Langrenus). We also suggest Korean terms for highland, maria, mountains, crater, rille, rima, graben, dome, lava tube, wrinkle ridge, trench, rupes, and regolith. In addition, we introduce the standard model for the lunar interior and typical rocks. According to the standard model on the basis of historical impact events, the lunar geological eras are classified as Pre-Nectarian, Nectarian, Imbrian, Erathostenesian, and Copernican in chronologic order. Finally, we summarize the latest discovery records on the water on the Moon, and introduce the concept of water extraction from the lunar soil, which is to be developed by the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM).

곤달비는 국화과에 속하는 대표 산채로 쌈용으로 많이 소비되고 있다 곤달비를 경관농업의 소재로 6차산업화하기 위한 친환경 생산기술을 개발코자 하였다 곤달비의 재배 중 흰가루병 발생은 가장 큰 문제로 자생식물과의 혼식을 통해 병의 진행 억제효과를 구명코자 하였다 천궁과 당귀를 곤달비와 함께 인공상토로 채운 화분에 1주씩 혼식하였고 곤달비만 심은 대조구를 두었다 흰가루병 접종은 포자를 곤달비에 발생시킨 후 접종하였다 약 7일의 흰가루병 발생기를 거친 후 6월 4일~6월 21일까지 2~3일 간격으로 진행률을 조사하였다 조사결과는 병의 진행률을 계량하기 위해 효율적인 AUDPC(Area Under the Disease Pogress Curve) 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다 천궁 당귀와 혼식한 결과는 곤달비의 흰가루병은 동시에 발생하였다 곤달비만 심은 대조구는 병 발생 후 5일 간 가파르게 증가하였으나 천궁과 당귀와 혼식 처리구는 완만한 증가세를 보였다 6월 21일의 AUDPC 수치와 비율은 대조구가 602.3(1.00), 천궁 혼식구가 265.8(0.53), 당귀 혼식구는 226.1(0.45)로 혼식구가 대조구에 비해 50% 이하의 진행률을 나타냈다 통계처리 결과 대조구와 혼식구 간 1%의 유의성을 나타냈다 당귀가 가장 높은 억제율을 보였으며 이러한 원인에 대한 추가 분석이 요구된다.

The optimum plot size and shape for soybean yield trials were estimated by using two different soybean varieties, Kumkang-daelip and Clark. Long narrow shape plot was generaIly showed lower C.V. value as compared to the plots consisted of more row number with short row length. The results obtained in this experiment provided the optimum size and shape of plots for Clark as 1. 4m x 6m, and for Kumkang-dailip as 1.4m $\times$ 9m, respectively.
