Affecting Factors in Job-seeking Stress among Health Care Related Students (일 지역 보건의료계열 대학생의 취업스트레스 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between self-esteem, appearance satisfaction, interpersonal relationship, and job-seeking stress in health care related students and to investigate the factors influencing college students' job-seeking stress. A self-report type survey was conducted targeting a total of 184 of college students in a city from June 11 to 15, 2018 were enrolled. The results are as followed; The strongest predictor of job-seeking stress was self-esteem (${\beta}=-.407$, p<.001). Self-esteem, employment impact of appearance, academic grade accounted for 18.5% of job-seeking stress based on multiple regression analysis. In order to reduce the job-seeking stress of health care related students, it is necessary to develop a personalized employment program for each major field and individual that can improve the self-esteem of the individual.

  • This study attempts to explore impact on the Child Caregiver's Job Satisfaction from Characteristics of Work and Characteristics of Interpersonal Relationship, and provide them with basic data to increase the Child Caregiver's Job Satisfaction and to improve the quality of the child caregiver service business. We was conducted among our surveys the Child Caregivers 114 of S metropolitan city. Key study outcome is as follows. : First, the sociology of population by the Visual Characteristic on Job Satisfaction of the Child Caregiver was showing some significant differences, Some had no effect. Second, Child Caregiver's Characteristic of Work and Interpersonal Relationalship Characteristics, formerly the (+) correlation between Job Satisfaction is analyzed. Third, the estimated result of the regression model Characteristics of Work have to have a meaningful difference in the important influence on Job Satisfaction and Interpersonal Relationship Characteristics and were shown to. In conclusion, co-worker relationships, relationships of the family to receve child care service, relationships of the children to receve child care service, there is a greater Job Satisfaction to be associated entities. Therefore, We must make an effort to increase the child caregiver's job satisfaction and to enhance the quality of child care service from improving the child care system and developing the various education programs.

The Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Competence on the Relationship between Emotion Regulation and Life Satisfaction of Adolescents (청소년의 정서조절능력과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 대인관계역량의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of emotion regulation on life satisfaction of adolescents on the mediating effect of interpersonal competence. The data of 3,404 middle school students in a study on Measurement of Korean Youth Competency and International Comparative Study II(2015) by the National Youth Policy Institute were analysed. The results of the study are: (1) emotion regulation was found a key factor affecting the life satisfaction of adolescents, (2) their emotion regulation affects interpersonal competence, (3) interpersonal competence affects life satisfaction, (4) interpersonal competence was proved to have a mediating effect between the effects of emotion regulation and life satisfaction. The implications and limitations are reviewed, as are the suggestions for future research.

Effect of Interpersonal Differentiation on Affectual Solidarity among Mother-in-law and Son-in-law: The Mediating Effect of Marital Satisfaction (장모-사위의 대인관계적 분화가 애정적 결속도에 미치는 영향: 결혼만족도의 매개효과)

  • This study was conducted with 193 pairs of mother-in-law and son-in-law to examine the mediating effect of marital satisfaction on the relationship between interpersonal differentiation and affectual solidarity. Using SPSS and PROCESS macro program, descriptive statistical analysis(frequency, ratio, mean, and standard deviation) and mediating effect analysis through bootstrapping were performed. The main research results are as follows. First, in the case of the son-in-law, his own marital satisfaction completely mediated the relationship between the sub-factors of interpersonal differentiation (fusion with others, emotional cutting) and affectual solidarity. Second, in the case of mother-in-law, the perceived daughter's marital satisfaction partially mediated the relationship between the sub-factors of interpersonal differentiation (connectivity, separability) and affectual solidarity. These findings suggest the functional importance of the marital system for a healthy relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law.

Effects of Communication Skill on Interpersonal Satisfaction and Subjective Happiness among College Students (대학생의 의사소통 기술이 대인관계 만족도 및 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is a descriptive survey research to investigate the effect of communication skills of college students on interpersonal satisfaction and subjective happiness. Data were collected using structured questionnaires from 222 students attending two universities located in C and S cities between June 1 and June 10, 2016, and were analyzed using t-test, One-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression, etc. The results of the study are as follows. The communication skills of the subjects were found to be 2.13 out of 1~5 points, and it was found that there was a significant difference according to grade, perceived home economy level, and leisure activities. Second, communication skills showed a positive correlation with interpersonal satisfaction and subjective happiness. Third, in relation to interpersonal satisfaction, the explanatory power of sex, grade, academic achievement, perceived family economic level and leisure activity was 26.7%, and communication skills further explained 18.4% of interpersonal satisfaction. Fourth, in relation to subjective happiness, the explanatory power of subjective gender, academic achievement, perceived family economic level and leisure activity was 33.0%, and communication skills further explained only 0.3% of subjective happiness. The results of this study suggest that communication-related education can be used as a major intervention strategy in the development of programs to improve interpersonal satisfaction and happiness of college students.

The Effects of Adlerian Encouragement Program on the Interpersonal Satisfaction, Self-efficacy and Self-esteem among Elementary School Students (아들러 심리학에 기반한 격려 프로그램이 초등학생의 대인관계 만족도, 자기효능감, 자아존중감에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Adlerian Encouragement Program on the interpersonal satisfaction, self-efficacy and self-esteem among elementary school students. The program was consisted of 8 sessions: 1st session was for introducing programs and making positive nicknames, 2nd~5th sessions were for abandoning inferiority and discouraged thoughts, displaying posters of success experiences, creating merit trees, 6th~7th sessions were for self-encouragement and other people encouragement, 8th session was for closing the program. Subjects were 40 students who were the fifth grader students at I elementary school in G city. The subjects were divided into an experimental group(N=21) and a control group(N=19). All participants were asked to complete the Interpersonal Satisfaction scale(Kim, 2010), Self-efficacy scale(Han, 2003) and Self-esteem scale(Choi & Jeon, 1993). The pretest and post-test were taken in order to verify the effectiveness of the program. The data were analyzed with ANCOVA. The results are as follows: the Adlerian Encouragement Program had a significant impact on interpersonal satisfaction and self-esteem but didn't show a significant impact on self-efficacy. The study confirmed that the Adlerian Encouragement Program had a significant effect on interpersonal satisfaction and self-esteem of elementary school students, suggesting the encouragement, a key technique in Adlerian psychology, is an important educational philosophy and method for healthy development and democratic class management.

Effect of Virtual Reality Game on Old Patient's Depression, Relationship and Life Satisfaction (가상현실 게임이 노인 뇌졸중 환자의 우울, 대인관계, 삶의 만족도에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of virtual reality game on old stroke patient's depression, relationship and life satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 40 stroke patients of over 65 years old and each 20 patients were randomly assigned in two groups. The study was conducted for 12 weeks. Nintendo Wii Sports Resort program was applied to the virtual reality game for the experimental group. In order to investigate psychological social factor (depression, relationship) and life satisfaction of the objects, BDI, RCS, LSI-Z were checked three times. The results are as followings. First, the psychological social change (depression, relationship) after the training program showed that depression is significantly decreased (p<.001) along with the intervention period in both 2 groups. Second, change of life satisfaction after the training program showed that significant statistical improvement were found both in control group(p<.05), and experimental group(p<.001). Third, depression, relationship showed the significant statistically correlation with life satisfaction(p<.05). We can conclude from the above that virtual reality games which were played by 2 persons had the significant effect on old stroke patient's psychological social factor(depression, relationship) and life satisfaction.

Relation of interpersonal relationship, clinical stress and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students (간호대학생의 대인관계, 임상실습 스트레스 및 임상실습 만족도 간의 관계)

  • Purpose: In this study, the relationship between the interpersonal relationships, clinical stress and satisfaction of clinical practice among nursing was examined. Method: The participants were 261. Data collected from 7 September to 18 September 2015 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Result: The mean scores for the interpersonal relationship ($3.74{\pm}0.39$), stress ($3.21{\pm}0.54$), and satisfaction ($3.44{\pm}0.45$) in clinical practice were above average. Interpersonal relationships differed significantly according to year (F=3.12, p=.046), satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=15.84, p<.001), important of interpersonal relationships (F=4.76, p=.001), and academic achievement (F=3.80, p=.011). Stress in clinical practice differed significantly according to the year (F=8.05, p<.001), application motivation (F=4.55, p=.001) and satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=2.69, p=.046). Satisfaction in clinical practice differed significantly according to satisfaction with nursing as a major (F=3.24, p=.022), important of interpersonal relationships (F=3.01, p=.019), and academic achievements (F=5.24, p=.002). Significant correlations were observed between the interpersonal relationships and satisfaction in clinical practice (r=.24, p<.001). Interpersonal relationship (${\beta}=.21$, p<.001), academic achievements (${\beta}=.12$, p=.045) were factors influencing satisfaction in clinical practice. Conclusion: The interpersonal relationships need to be improved to increase nursing students' satisfaction with clinical practice

  • In this study we investigate how motive and personal relations of volunteers impact their volunteering satisfaction. The objects were 313 members of a volunteer group in ${\bigcirc}$-gun, central region. We conducted survey from 2014 April 2 to August 31. The data were analyzed by correlation analysis, t-test, multiple regression analysis, through SPSSWIN 18.0 program,(empirical analysis verification : significance level of 5%). The results are as follows: First, with the general characteristics, we found that females, the educated, and the married get more satisfaction. Second, with the local characteristics, long-term residents and the members, who think volunteer activity contribute to the local development, feel more satisfaction. Third, volunteer who has high participation motives, has strong volunteering satisfaction. Finally, volunteers feel more satisfaction when they maintain a good relationships in interpersonal relationship. This study implicates that volunteer activity participation motives and personal relations have a great impact on volunteering satisfaction, to be the basis for volunteer's satisfaction improving policy in the future.

A Study on Life Satisfaction of Elderly Women with Chronic Illness (만성질환 여성 노인의 삶의 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for improving the life satisfaction of elderly women with chronic diseases by analyzing the factors affecting life satisfaction. Using the 6th Korean Retirement and Income Study, 1846 elderly women aged 65 years or older with chronic diseases were included in the study. In order to investigate life satisfaction, instrumental activities of daily living and interpersonal relationship according to general characteristics, descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA were used. We used hierarchical multiple regression analysis to find out the factors affecting life satisfaction. The results showed that elderly women with chronic illness were more satisfied with life when they were younger, spouses, higher education, proper sleep, regular exercise, and regular health checkups. This study has limitations in that the number of chronic diseases, types, and psychosocial aspects are not considered. However, it is significant that the elderly panel with the representative of the whole nation was used to grasp the life satisfaction of the elderly women with chronic diseases. Therefore, in order to improve the life satisfaction of elderly women with chronic illness, appropriate sleep, exercise, instrumental daily life ability, interpersonal intervention will be needed.
