With an increasing number of documents in the Internet or enterprises, it becomes crucial to efficiently support users' queries on those documents. In that situation, the full-text search technique is accepted in general, because it can answer uncontrolled ad-hoc queries by automatically indexing all the keywords found in the documents. The size of index files made for full-text searches grows with the increasing number of indexed documents, and thus the disk cost may be too large to process multi-keyword queries against those enlarged index files. To solve the problem, we propose both of the index file structure and its management scheme suitable to the processing of multi-keyword queries against a large volume of index files. For this, we adopt the structure of inverted-files, which are widely used in the multi-keyword searches, as a basic index structure and modify it to a hierarchical structure for join operations and ranking operations performed during the query processing. In order to save disk costs based on that index structure, we dynamically store in the main memory the results of join operations between two keywords, if they are highly expected to be entered in users' queries. We also do performance comparisons using a cost model of the disk to show the performance advantage of the proposed scheme.
Recently semantic web document is produced and added in repository in a cloud computing environment and requires an intelligent semantic agent for analytical classification of documents and information retrieval. The traditional methods of information retrieval uses keyword for query and delivers a document list returned by the search. Users carry a heavy workload for examination of contents because a former method of the information retrieval don't provide a lot of semantic similarity information. To solve these problems, we suggest a key word frequency and concept matching based semantic clustering model using hadoop and NoSQL to improve classification accuracy of the similarity. Implementation of our suggested technique in a cloud computing environment offers the ability to classify and discover similar document with improved accuracy of the classification. This suggested model is expected to be use in the semantic web retrieval system construction that can make it more flexible in retrieving proper document.

This paper is related to the method of adding a emotional speech corpus to a high-quality large corpus based speech synthesizer, and generating various synthesized speech. We made the emotional speech corpus as a form which can be used in waveform concatenated speech synthesizer, and have implemented the speech synthesizer that can be generated various synthesized speech through the same synthetic unit selection process of normal speech synthesizer. We used a markup language for emotional input text. Emotional speech is generated when the input text is matched as much as the length of intonation phrase in emotional speech corpus, but in the other case normal speech is generated. The BIs(Break Index) of emotional speech is more irregular than normal speech. Therefore, it becomes difficult to use the BIs generated in a synthesizer as it is. In order to solve this problem we applied the Variable Break[3] modeling. We used the Japanese speech synthesizer for experiment. As a result we obtained the natural emotional synthesized speech using the break prediction module for normal speech synthesize.
Many sentiment categorization systems based on machine learning methods use morphological analyzers in order to extract linguistic features from sentences. However, the morphological analyzers do not generally perform well in a customer review domain because online customer reviews include many spacing errors and spelling errors. These low performances of the underlying systems lead to performance decreases of the sentiment categorization systems. To resolve this problem, we propose a feature extraction method based on simple longest matching of Eojeol (a Korean spacing unit) and phoneme patterns. The two kinds of patterns are automatically constructed from a large amount of POS (part-of-speech) tagged corpus. Eojeol patterns consist of Eojeols including content words such as nouns and verbs. Phoneme patterns consist of leading consonant and vowel pairs of predicate words such as verbs and adjectives because spelling errors seldom occur in leading consonants and vowels. To evaluate the proposed method, we implemented a sentiment categorization system using a SVM (Support Vector Machine) as a machine learner. In the experiment with Korean customer reviews, the sentiment categorization system using the proposed method outperformed that using a morphological analyzer as a feature extractor.
Temporal data mining, the incorporation of temporal semantics to existing data mining techniques, refers to a set of techniques for discovering implicit and useful temporal knowledge from large quantities of temporal data. Temporal knowledge, expressible in the form of rules, is knowledge with temporal semantics and relationships, such as cyclic pattern, calendric pattern, trends, etc. There are many examples of temporal data, including patient histories, purchaser histories, and web log that it can discover useful temporal knowledge from. Many studies on data mining have been pursued and some of them have involved issues of temporal data mining for discovering temporal knowledge from temporal data, such as sequential pattern, similar time sequence, cyclic and temporal association rules, etc. However, all of the works treated data in database at best as data series in chronological order and did not consider temporal semantics and temporal relationships containing data. In order to solve this problem, we propose a theoretical framework for temporal data mining. This paper surveys the work to date and explores the issues involved in temporal data mining. We then define a model for temporal data mining and suggest SQL-like mining language with ability to express the task of temporal mining and show architecture of temporal mining system.
The World Wide Web is a very large distributed digital information space. From its origins in 1991, the web has grown to encompass diverse information resources as personal home pasges, online digital libraries and virtual museums. Some estimates suggest that the web currently includes over 500 billion pages in the deep web. The ability to search and retrieve information from the web efficiently and effectively is an enabling technology for realizing its full potential. With powerful workstations and parallel processing technology, efficiency is not a bottleneck. In fact, some existing search tools sift through gigabyte.syze precompiled web indexes in a fraction of a second. But retrieval effectiveness is a different matter. Current search tools retrieve too many documents, of which only a small fraction are relevant to the user query. Furthermore, the most relevant documents do not nessarily appear at the top of the query output order. Also, current search tools can not retrieve the documents related with retrieved document from gigantic amount of documents. The most important problem for lots of current searching systems is to increase the quality of search. It means to provide related documents or decrease the number of unrelated documents as low as possible in the results of search. For this problem, CiteSeer proposed the ACI (Autonomous Citation Indexing) of the articles on the World Wide Web. A "citation index" indexes the links between articles that researchers make when they cite other articles. Citation indexes are very useful for a number of purposes, including literature search and analysis of the academic literature. For details of this work, references contained in academic articles are used to give credit to previous work in the literature and provide a link between the "citing" and "cited" articles. A citation index indexes the citations that an article makes, linking the articleswith the cited works. Citation indexes were originally designed mainly for information retrieval. The citation links allow navigating the literature in unique ways. Papers can be located independent of language, and words in thetitle, keywords or document. A citation index allows navigation backward in time (the list of cited articles) and forwardin time (which subsequent articles cite the current article?) But CiteSeer can not indexes the links between articles that researchers doesn't make. Because it indexes the links between articles that only researchers make when they cite other articles. Also, CiteSeer is not easy to scalability. Because CiteSeer can not indexes the links between articles that researchers doesn't make. All these problems make us orient for designing more effective search system. This paper shows a method that extracts subject and predicate per each sentence in documents. A document will be changed into the tabular form that extracted predicate checked value of possible subject and object. We make a hierarchical graph of a document using the table and then integrate graphs of documents. The graph of entire documents calculates the area of document as compared with integrated documents. We mark relation among the documents as compared with the area of documents. Also it proposes a method for structural integration of documents that retrieves documents from the graph. It makes that the user can find information easier. We compared the performance of the proposed approaches with lucene search engine using the formulas for ranking. As a result, the F.measure is about 60% and it is better as about 15%.
