Applying the construct of country image this study examined city image for Daegu in Korea. Study 1 measured the city image for Daegu and Seoul, identified the city image dimensions, and compared the images of the two cities. Study 2 confirmed the city image dimensions and examined the Daegu image by residency and demographic characteristics of respondents in Daegu and Seoul regions. The study extracted 4 dimensions of city image including economy, people, conservatism, and development capability. High conservatism and low economic prosper represented the image of Daegu while the opposite did of Seoul. Regardless of residency, single and Young respondents with high income and education had negative images for Daegu, and residents in Daegu rather than in Seoul had more negative images.

대구시에서는 지난해 말 에너지 소비절약의 일환으로 에너지소비량이 많은 시 산하 21개 공공기관에 대하여 ESCO사업 타당성 정밀진단을 실시했다. 13개 업체의 진단결과를 토대로 대구시는 13개소의 조명분야사업과 8개소의 동력설비사업을 계획하고 있다. 최근 소방본부 산하 4개 기관에서 고효율 조명기기 개체공사 계약을 체결해 다른 기관에 사업이 확대될 것으로 기대된다.

전국 시 도회는 지난 3월부터 4월까지 개최된 총회를 통해 제9대 시 도회장을 새롭게 구성하고 각 지역에서 설비건설업계 및 협회 발전을 위해 활발한 활동을 벌이고 있다. 이에 본지는 전국 시 도회장으로부터 사업계획을 듣는 코너를 연재하고 있다. 이번 호에는 김주환 대구시회 회장으로부터 대구시회의 사업추진 현황과 향후 사업계획을 들었다. 유머와 인문학적 소양을 두루 갖춘 김주환 회장은 제8대에 이어 제9대까지 연임 중이며 20년째 침체에 빠진 대구시의 제2 도약을 위해 회원사에게 전국 시장을 상대로 적극 개척할 것을 주문하고 있다.

In this study, the characteristics of transfer station are analyzed using the data of public transportation. The traffic card of Daegu does not include boarding information. The boarding data are calculated using traffic card data and the BMS data. It is found that transfer has increased by the distance from CBD and the numbers of routes, and decresed by the waiting time. Oneway ANNOVA are carried out to find the optimal number of clusters. Three clusters are chosen in this study. The center of the first cluster shows 2.99, so it has a characteristic of CBD. The second is 6.73, the outskirts of town, and the third is 12.78, the outlying areas.

본 연구에서는 2001년부터 2005년까지의 최근 5년간의 대구시 보건환경연구원의 대기질 자동측정망 자료와 대구기상대의 기상자료를 이용하여 다중회귀분석을 통하여 대구시 주거 지역의 오존농도를 예측하였다. 대구시 주거지역의 고농도 오존은 측정소별로 대명동은 총 327회 중 153회(46.79%), 신암동은 총 310회 중 143회(46.13%), 만촌동은 총 262회 중 140회(53.44%)로 기온과 일사량이 증가하는 5, 6월에 주로 많이 발생하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과 각 측정소별로 수정된 $R^2$는 각각 0.611, 0.655, 0.624으로 양호한 회귀 모형을 나타내었다.

지속적인 강수량의 부족으로 인한 댐 및 하천유량의 감소로 인해 도시지역의 용수공급 부족의 위험이 항상 존재하고 있다. 대구시에 공급하는 상수원은 가창댐과 공산댐 낙동강의 죽곡취수장, 매곡취수장, 문산취수장이 운영되고 있다. 상수원에서 취수하는 물은 낙동강에서 120만톤, 운문댐에서 35만톤, 가창댐과 공산댐에서 9만톤을 취수해 총 164만톤의 물을 취수하여 공급하고 있다. 그러나 계속적인 가뭄으로 인해 대구의 취수원에 물이 부족하여 금호강 물을 하루 12만 7천 톤을 공급하는 도수시설을 설치하여 고산취수장으로 물을 공급하는 계획을 수립하였다. 대구시에 안정적으로 용수를 확보하여 공급하기 위해서는 대구시에 위치한 주요 상수원과 상수원으로 활용할 수 있는 시설들에 대해 비상급수 계획을 수립할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 대구시의 안정적인 용수공급을 위해서 상수원에 대한 유량의 검토와 공급네트워크를 최적화하여 안정적인 용수공급방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

The Target was a part preschool childern between analysis Taegu city 242 persons and Gyeong-ju city 201 persons. The results were follows; 1. The most popular by the reason hungry eating of bewteen-meal intake. 2. The most popular by the choice motive of between-meal intake to mother's of admonition (Taegu city of 61.2%, Gyeong-Ju city of 63.7%.) 3. The most popular by the time of bewteenmeal intake to afternoon between evening (Taegu city of 90.5%, Gyeong-Ju city of 88.1%.) 4. The most popular by the place of between-meal intake to Taegu city and Gyeong-Ju city it's home.

본 연구에서는 대구시 동대구로의 경관조명에 관한 주민의식을 조사하기 위하여, 대구시에 거주하는 20대 대학생 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 그 결과, 야간경관에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 조명이 69.2[%]로 가장 높았으며, 대구의 도시이미지는 교육과 문화가 가장 높게 나타났다. 대구 경관디자인 시 중점을 두어야 할 것은 '자연과 어울리게'가 높게 나타났다. 야간경관에서 가장 큰 영향을 미치며 동시에 가장 열악한 것은 '조명'이며, 현재 조명상태나 밝기는 부정적으로 나타났다.

최근 LPG자동차보급협의회는 대구시-계명대와 공동으로 대구시의 경유사용 청소차를 LPG차로 개조하는 작업을 진행중이다. 경유사용 청소차의 저공해 LPG차량 개조사업에 대한 연구결과를 게재한다.
