The Eyogye Cho Lyeo and His Secluded Cultural Landscapes (어계(漁溪) 조려(趙旅)의 은둔과 문화경관)

  • The purpose of this research was to find out the characteristics of secluded cultural landscapes that were retained by Eyogye Cho Lyeo(漁溪 趙旅) as a recluse or a schola at the early time of Chosun dynasty through his poems, residential site and his successors' landscapes. The study sites were selected such as Wonbukgae(院北齋), Chamijeong(採薇亭), Gomaam (叩馬巖) and his graveyard. In order to do that, Wonbukgae, Chamijeong, Gomaam and his cemetery were selected as studying sites. Also researching methods were used by grasping the landscape elements through reading ancient books such as "Eyogyezip(漁溪集)", field-researching, analyzing characters of his secluded landscapes and interpreting his poem's meaning. This research found that: 1) After Danjong(端宗)'s dethronement, he returned to his home town and never come out to the world again. He wanted to keep fidelity to his king forever. 2) He was affected for his seclusion from many people who were Ryu Gyebun(柳桂芬), Bae Junghu(裵仲厚) as his classmates at Sunggyungwan(成均館). Also Won ho(元昊) and Kim Sisyub(金時習) as members of Sangyuksin(生六臣) affected him for sake of their seclusion. 3) The meaning of his seclusion expressed the notation of seclusion as a fisherman from his pen name as 'Yeogye'. Also this kind culture has very particular behavior such as concentration phenomenon of action, absolute eccentricity of seclusion, tourism of nature and deep knoledge of feng shui, strong persistence of seclusion and confucian practical attitude of filial behavior. 4) The secluded cultural landscape is divided to four regions. They have two types of landscape such as secluded cultural landscape of his lifetime and landscape transmission of his posterity and scholars. 5) The interpretation of his poems and their aesthetic analysis found two characters. His poems were expressed by landscape substance like plants, natural and man-made elements. Their theme was confucian, peaceful and faithful seclusion.

  • Ignominy are ashamed or that mind. It is noted that this article 'shame[恥]' will do for obtaining the social dynamics in some way in the literary aspect. To investigate this aspect, this article took the text produced on the basis of 'shame[恥]' to be analyzed. First, through the Sayuksin[死六臣]'s Sijo[時調], 'Shame[恥]' they have confirmed the room to go to form a sympathy by revealing without hidden. It is worth evaluating in common with these Sijo is that of justice or loyalty. But the parameters of evaluation described what people are rare. In this article, I saw the parameter to 'shame[恥]'. Second, through the Sijo created in the war of the middle age of Chosun Dynasty, I examined the aspect of 'anger' which sparked a shame[恥]. Thus shame[恥] is hard to change the world directly. However, the possibility that it can also be a psychological instrument was found to be sufficient. In conclusion, 'shame[恥]' is clearly greater tendency to dismiss as a private act of the heart. But, I understood that the negative region of 'shame[恥]' can be converted to positive region. At this time, The premise of 'shame[恥]' should always be oriented to justice.

  • Process control systems used in most domestic petrochemical corporates today are based on the Windows platforms. As technology leans toward opened environment, the exposure risk of control systems is increasing. However, not many companies are preparing for various cyberattacks due to lack of awareness and misunderstanding of cyber intrusion. This study investigated the extent of how much exposed the petrochemical process control system is to security threats and suggested practical measures to reduce OT cybersecurity vulnerabilities. To identify the cyber threat status of process control systems, vulnerabilities of the Windows platform, a principal cyber threat factor, have been analyzed. For research, three major DCS providers in Korea and the discontinuation of Windows platform of 635 control systems were investigated. It was confirmed that 78% of the survey subjects were still operating in the discontinued windows platforms, and those process control systems were operated in a state vulnerable to cyber intrusions. In order to actively cope with these cyber threats, legal regulations such as designation of critical infrastructure for major petrochemical facilities which is implemented in advanced countries such as the United States are needed. Additionally, it is necessary to take the initiative in eradicating security threats to the process control systems by aggressively introducing security solutions provided from existing DCS suppliers.   • The propulsion control device of an electric railway vehicle is a key main component corresponding to an engine of an automobile, and a device for controlling this is a device called a GDU (Gate Drive Unit). Also, when the frequency of failure of the propulsion control system was analyzed, the nonconformity ratio of GDU was the highest. GDU was not able to access core technologies due to the introduction of foreign products, and there were general problems with overall maintenance activities due to discontinuation of GDU of the manufacturer. The GDU has reached the end of its life with 23 to 14 years of long-term use.In order to solve these problems, this study was designed to identify the proper life span by analyzing compatible GDU's acquisition and failure, and to improve the existing system of maintenance focusing on health inspection. Maintenance of the components with a short life span compared to the entire service life is essential. Most foreign parts introduced at the beginning of the construction are not replaced due to technical problems or long-term operation. However, due to the characteristics of railway vehicles with a long life span of more than 25 years, it is necessary to maintain them for a long period of time. The study should be more concrete and empirical. The replacement type GDU of capacitors was able to easily measure the life of the capacitance by removing the capacitor modules, measure the life span of each unit test, and accurately perform preventive maintenance of the capacitor.

  • The Line Code is a code used for data transmission and is a coding method used to prevent loss of data between transmitter and receiver. There are various kinds of line code such as B3ZS, HDB3, B8ZS, and HDB3 code is used in the tactical communication networks of Korea. In this paper, we implement the HDB3 Codec that is used in tactical communication networks in order to eliminate the risk factors for component discontinuance and to shorten development period and ensure reliability. Also it is confirmed that it can be implement by minimizing the amount of logic usage so that it can be used unrestrictedly in systems using FPGA and the implemented HDB3 Codec is simulated to confirm that it is equivalent to the performance of HDB3 Codec IC.

  • 지금까지 원전 계측제어계통은 안전을 위한 보수적인 설계기준을 적용하여 아날로그 기기를 사용하여 설계되었다. 그러나 최근에는 아날로그 기기의 생산 중단으로 기기 및 장비의 예비품 조달에 어려움을 겪게 되었고, 점차 복잡하면서도 편리한 기능에 대한 사용자 요구로 인해 디지털 기기의 사용이 확대되고 있는 추세이다. 프로그램 가능한 논리제어기 (Programmable Logic Controller:PLC)는 기존의 산업체에서 널리 사용되고 있지만, 높은 수준의 안전성 기준 때문에 일부 극소수의 PLC만이 원자력에 적용되고 있는 실정이다. 최근 국내에서도 원전 안전등급의 보호, 제어 및 감시계통에 디지털 기기의 적용을 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 원전 계측제어계통의 디지털화는 부품 단종 및 설비 노후화 문제 등을 해결할 수 있는 장점이 있는 반면에 디지털화로 인한 새로운 안전 현안이 제기될 수 있다. PLC를 기반으로 하는 원전 계측제어계통은 안전등급의 보호, 제어 및 감시 기능을 수행하게 되므로, 고신뢰도 소프트웨어 적용등의 안전계통 개발에서 요구하는 요건을 만족해야 한다. 따라서 상용 또는 신규 개발되는 PLC를 사용하여 발전소보호계통을 구현할 경우에 적용 가능한 기술기준 및 계통요건이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 발전소보호계통에 적용하기 위한 PLC 평가 항목을 개발하고, 각 부분별 평가 항목에 대해 소개한다.

KJJVC를 위한 VERA2000 고속재생기 도입과 시험운영

  • 한국천문연구원에서는 2009년 1단계 한일공동VLBI상관기(Korea-Japan Joint VLBI Correlator, KJJVC)의 개발과 설치를 완료하였다. KJJVC는 한국우주전파관측망(Korean VLBI Network, KVN), KVN과 일본 내의 VLBI 관측망을 포함하는 한일공동VLBI관측망(Korea-Japan Joint VLBI Network, KJJVN), 그리고 한중일의 VLBI관측망인 동아시아 VLBI관측망(East Asian VLBI Network, EAVN)으로 관측한 VLBI 데이터를 상관처리할 수 있도록 설계 제작되었다. 그리고 고속재생기, 데이터 동기재생처리시스템(Raw VLBI Data Buffer, RVDB), VLBI상관서브시스템(VLBI Correlation Subsystem, VCS), 데이터 아카이브 시스템(Peta-scale Epoch Data Archive, PEDA)로 구성된다. 특히 일본국립천문대 VERA에서는 테이프 형태의 DIR2000 고속기록기를 사용하고 있는데, DIR2000의 제품단종으로 인해 이 데이터를 VCS에 재생하기 위해 DIR1000을 개량한 VERA2000 고속재생기를 개발하였다. 즉, VSI 형태의 데이터를 1Gbps 속도로 재생만 하기 위해 기존의 시스템을 개량하였으며, 2009년 10월에 VLBI상관기실에 설치되었다. 본 논문에서는 VERA2000 시스템의 구성 및 개발, 시험운영 등에 대해 간략히 소개하고자 한다.

A Study on Fracture Bahavior of Composite Material Subjected to Simultaneous Deformation Mode (연립변형모드 구성된 복합재료의 파괴역학적 거동에 관한 연구)

  • 콘크리트는 여러 구성 성분들이 불규칙적인 배열을 이루어 형성된 복합재료이지만, 과거에는 이 재료를 하나의 단종재료로 간주하여 해석하였기 때문에, LEFM에서 사용되는 파괴인성계수만으로는 콘크리트의 파괴역학적 접근이 어렵다는 것 이외에는 파괴인성계수들의 크기의존성에 대한 이유라든가, 실험을 통해서 관측된 구조물 두께 방향으로의 서로 다른 깊이의 균열 진행 현상에 대해서는 설명하기가 어려웠다. 따라서 본 연구는 콘크리트를 하나의 복합재료로써 각각의 구성요소들이 차지하고 있는 체적비 및 배열상의 효과를 고려하여 복합재료의 파괴거동을 해석하고, 구성재료의 수와 파괴인성계수와의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 각각의 구성요소들을 연립변형모드( SD mode)로 배열시킨 조건에서 복합재료역학개념에 입각하여 해석한 결과, 일반적으로 실험이나 비선형파괴역학 해석과 같이 하중-변위곡선 상단부에서 비선형 거동이 관측되었다. 또한 임계응력확대계수( $K_IC$)나 파괴에너지($G_r$)는 구성원의 수나 보의 크기에 대해서 거의 무관한 값을 나타내지만, 임계군열선단개구변위 ($CTOD_c$)는 크기에 영향을 받음을 보여 주었다. 균열의 진행속도는 균열이 진행될수록 감소하며, 파괴인성이 작은 구성원에서부터 균열이 발생되어 결과적으로 보의 두께 방향으로 서로 다른 크기의 균열길이가 생성됨이 관측되었다.

Implementation of a spaceborne GPS signal processing device and its performance analysis (우주용 GPS 수신기를 위한 신호 처리부 구현과 성능 분석)

  • We developed a GPS digital signal processing FPGA IP, SIGP-1001 to replace the obsolete GP2021 device, which has been used for many space-borne GPS receivers. From a series of tests, we verified that SIGP-1001 has equivalent performance to the GP2021 device under the same operating condition and concluded that SIGP-1001 can replace the GP2021 device. The reliability of a GPS receiver can be improved by using a space-grade FPGA with SIGP-1001 instead of the GP2021 device and its performance is expected to be improved by increasing the number of search channels.
