Forest road is an essential infrastructure for forest management such as the composition and management of forest resources, timber and forest byproduct production & transportation. It has recently been utilized forest recreation and forest sports as well as also forest pest control, forest fire prevention and evolution. When you build a forest road, the economic function in the forest is activated, so that it can result in the ripple effect of induced employment, value-added creation and production inducement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact caused by forest road construction occurring as the overall economy. For analysis it was applied to inter industry analysis method that is a method for analyzing the quantitative cross-correlation. The data were used in the Input-Output Tables In 2014, the Bank of Korea. When you build a forest road, economic effect due to the construction of the forest road is generated and economic effects are also generated due to the increase in the production of forest products after the construction of the forest road. Therefore, we will analyze the economic impact of the two effects. The estimated economic value of forest products, which is the economic effect of forest product cultivation, was calculated through some assumptions and the economic ripple effect was analyzed. The forest road construction sector is defined as land clearing and reclamation, and irrigation project construction and the forestry forest products sector is defined as the sum of raw timber, edible forest products and misc. forest products. In total, 32 sectors were classified, and except for the two sectors defined as forest road construction and forestry forest products, the remaining sectors were integrated according to the classification system of 30 integrated classifications of the Bank of Korea. As a result, the production inducement coefficient for forest construction was analyzed to be 2.767 and the production inducement coefficient for forestry forest products was analyzed to be 1.565. This means that 2,767 times the production of forest road construction investment is induced in the whole industry and the production of 1.562 times the amount of forestry forest products is caused by the whole industry as the production of forestry forest products increases. The value added inducement coefficient for forest road construction was 0.977 and the value added inducement coefficient for forestry forest products was 0.985. Forest road are essential infrastructure for forestry development and should be continuously invested because they are essential elements of timber production and forest byproduct production with functions such as forest management, forest recreation, forest sports, and town connection.

Regarding the facts that fat, which is easily oxidized, is one of the major responsible factors affecting the quality of aroma, and polyphenol compounds including chlorogenic acid (CGA) contribute the anti-oxidative activities to coffee, we investigated fat oxidation, conversion of CGA, and changes of anti-oxidative activities according to the degree of roasting and storage of 60 days. We found that the amount of extractable fat by diethyl ether is increased as the coffee beans are roasted longer. Furthermore, the acidity values of the fat are increased from $8.91{\pm}0.16$ to $17.81{\pm}0.11$, and $10.37{\pm}0.27$ to $17.93{\pm}0.09$ in the medium and dark roasted coffee beans, respectively, while it is increased from $4.47{\pm}0.11$ to $11.89{\pm}0.18$ in the green coffee bean after 60 days. The CGA contents in the coffee beans were decreased from $310{\pm}8.2$ to $282{\pm}11.2$, then to $58{\pm}0.0mg$ in 10 gr of the green, medium and dark beans, respectively, and were not changed significantly during the storage period. However, the anti-oxidative activities measured by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl and 2,2'-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid radical scavenging assays were not significantly different among the green, medium, and dark coffee beans during the storage period. Furthermore, antioxidant reactive element-luciferase assay showed that biological anti-oxidative activities were increased as coffee beans were more roasted and stored longer. As the total polyphenolic contents in the beans were significantly decreased by roasting, the results suggests that other molecules, such as, Maillard reaction products might play substantial role in anti-oxidative activity and influence cup quality of coffee.

In our previous work, we reported consumers' perceptions of body shape and weight control. In an ongoing effort, we analyzed the purchasing behavior, intake patterns, future purchasing decisions, and degree of satisfaction in individuals consuming dietary formula for weight control (DF) or heath/functional foods (HFFs) by using the same survey questions. Portfolio analysis for marketing strategy was also investigated. Subjects were divided into two groups according to consumption of DF or HFF during the previous year : DF group (n = 89) and HFF group (n = 110). Average intake frequency was $1.7{\pm}0.7$ per day for HFFs and $1.5{\pm}0.9$ per day for the DF, and the most prevalent form was pill (58.2%) for HFFs and bar (42.7%) for DF. Duration of intake was $3.1{\pm}2.3$ months for HFFs versus $3.9{\pm}3.5$ months for DF. The average degree of satisfaction was $3.6{\pm}0.6$ on a 5-point scale, meaning 'relatively satisfied'. For the weight control method to be used in the future, 44.5% of the HFF group selected 'HFFs' while 47.2% of the DF group selected 'DF', showing a tendency to use the current product type in the future. The average planned period for the intake was $3.8{\pm}3.7$ months for HFFs and $3.0{\pm}2.4$ months for DF (p < 0.05). The HFF group emphasized efficacy, functional ingredients of the products, reliable products, and higher satisfaction, whereas the DF group emphasized the added materials in addition to weight control effects.
This study explores the determinants and processes of IT consolidation of Korean conglomerates. Through an extensive analysis of cases, this study identifies the drivers, benefits and critical success factors of IT consolidation, and observes the transition of vision for the IT service subsidiaries in the conglomerates. The results show that most firms in this analysis have completed the organizational, physical, and logical consolidation of their IT resources, and currently some of them are preparing for the next stage of IT consolidation such as rational consolidation and virtualization. It is also found that the strategic factor was one of the most significant determinants in consolidating IT resources which leaded the transition of vision of the IT service firms in the conglomerates from "cost center" to "profit center". The results of this study can provide a fundamental and empirical basis for building a theory of IT consolidation, and be used as a valuable benchmarking model for the organizations which consider starting a project of IT consolidation.

This study proposed the ubiquitous learning system by finding the difficulties which students have in learning the course of science and analyzing the current learning applications that are used commercially. Through case studies, we found 4 problems. First, the request of long learning time by most of the existing video-based learning applications. Second, it is impossible to know their level of learning due to the lack of open learning contents. Third, it is difficult for learners to participate in interactive learning. Fourth, there are educational contents without considerations on the level of learners. To refine the difficulties due to these problems, we designed and implemented a new ubiquitous learning system which applies the small learning contents for short-term learning, open learning system and enhanced hierarchical learning contents. The system was implemented based on Android. It provides learners with useful science education. We conducted a questionnaire for third grade middle school students in order to show that the proposed system has a good educational effects. The questionnaire asks for the differences between the proposed ubiquitous learning system and the existing learning application. We concluded that the proposed system is better than the existing application by using t-test for improvement of learning effects using feedback with which students participate in interactive learning but not in unidirectional learning, and share the learning result.
Following the recent policy, enlargement of foodservice and contracted management systems of high school foodservices have been accelerated, and the scales of foodservices have been gradually increased. A sudden growth of domestic foodservice companies have remarkably disparated. Yet compared to that of the foodseuice control in advanced countries, domestic foodservice control has a lot more to learn. Due to the characteristics of foodservice establishment serving many people at a time, there is always a high potential of food bone outbreak. The purpose of this study was to evluate hazard factors in the steps of production, holding and assembly and service of fried curry hair-tail, cold seaweed and cucumber, fried pork cutlet, that were served by contracted management in high school foodservice centre, then to suggest method of control with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) program. Also we suggested the possibility that the contracted management of foodservice system can be established and utilized to identify the variation of holding temperature among floods up to 6 hours after cooking. The results are as follows; The hazard factors in food product had come from the temperature, time, pH, Aw, equipment and utensils. The critical control point(CCP) of each food product; curry hair-tail, cold seaweed and cucumber and pork cutlet was cooked and held before serving, prepared and held before serving, cooked and held before serving, and prepared, cooked and held before serving, respectively.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of decision-making activities in lesson on improving decision-making ability to meet bioethical issues in everyday situation. Worksheet for decision-making was consisted of six steps: Identification of problem, searching relevant information, generation of alternatives, identification of values for selection criteria, evaluation of alternatives, review of consequence. The results of this study showed that the scores of decision-making were increased by the activities of worksheets. The scores of identification of problem, generation of alternatives, and evaluation of alternatives were increased meaningfully. However, the scores of searching relevant information, identification of values for selection criteria, and review of consequence were not increased. It seems that all steps of decision-making ability could not improve by short-term learning. Low level performance was appeared on the step of searching relevant information and evaluation of alternatives. This result indicated that students could not apply the biological knowledge to decision-making in the face of bioethical issues. In conclusion, the learning experience of decision-making is essential to foster rational decision-making ability. The activity of decision-making should be included in science class and curriculum.

The Korea Standard of Estimate which has been used as the only basis of Cost estimate of public construction projects is failed to reflect the fluctuation of current construction cost. Therefore, the government decided to gradually introduce historical construction cost into cost estimate of public construction projects from 2004 and to reduce the use of Korean Standard of Estimate. This paper presents a series of process and the methodology for computing Actual Cost and analyzing the fluctuation patterns based on not only previous contract prices which made a successful bid but also all of the other bid prices. Also, this paper mainly handles a device for extracting strategic bid price such as low price bid for assuring reliable data and for predicting the construction cost which is built by Wavelet Analysis of Time series Analysis data and Neural Network. It is anticipated that the effective use of the proposed process for estimating actual unit cost would make the cost estimation more current and reasonable.

Due to the fact that it is relatively easy to transfer technology between application developers or content providers, low entry barrier in the business causes fierce competition among the venture companies in mobile service industry. Our study examines a sustainable strategies to operate a business for venture companies that are in a highly competitive technology-intensive industry. In this paper, we examine how venture firms created a network and brought synergy effects, using network theory. Korean venture firm, YelloMobile, uses unique strategies of merger and acquisition through the method of swapping equity and thereby establishing network. We contribute to expand network theory by examining three elements of network: such as network structure, network governance mechanisms, and network contents.

Recently, accumulation of technology, transfer, absorption, and commercialization is being significantly recognized as a key factor for sustainable growth of the 21st century global economy. The government established "Technology Transfer and Commercialization Promotion Act" In order that the technology developed at public research institutions can be transferred to the private sector and commercialized; the technology developed in the private sector can be traded and commercialized. Also, the Article 14 of "Technology Transfer and Commercialization Promotion Act" is concerning technology transfer agents' registration, promotion, and support: it introduced the special status system of technology transfer agents and the government registers, manages, and supervises it. In most developed countries, the technology transfer agency is transferred to the private sector and it is referred as a technology transfer agent or technology broker. In the domestic market, despite the introduction of the above special status system and the building a various organization and transfer medium system for boosting the market's revitalization, some problems occurred; because the registration system of a technology transfer agent and legal basis and system about its following-up control fall short. For example, recently technology transfer-related performance exemption has brought the activation of technology transfer agent's registration, but there was the limit of selecting the expert above a certain level. Therefore, some countermeasures for this are urgent, In addition, through a compulsory training completion system before the technology trade agent registration is prepared, a short period of curriculum was not sufficient to provide applicants various specialized knowledge. In this research, it is considered about the reform of technology transfer agent through its comparative study in China and Korea. Some improvements are suggested for expanding the market of technology transfer commercialization, assuring the agents' service and strengthening the competitiveness.
