A study for characterizing personal ornaments designing education (대학 장신구 교육의 특성화를 위한 연구)

  • Personal ornaments designing has a great influence on present-day life and culture and allied industries, but the current collges fail to provide its productive and creative programs because it is considered as just a part of metal crafts. Most colleges present programs only for producing items of pure fine art crafts, and therefore fail to present the programs that help the student to understand the related industries and their management. This study seeks to point to the problems of current personal omaments designing education in order to help to find its remedies, and tries to present long-term and short- term plans for them. I belive when the colleges develop their own suitable programs based on these plans, they will strengthen their ability to survive in this privailing open-door compryiyive world, widen their opportunities to contribute to related industries, and help the students to play better roles in the society.

2011년도 한국천문올림피아드(KAO) 참가자 성향 분석

  • 한국천문올림피아드(KAO)는 경시대회에 의한 입시 과열 및 사교육 조장 논란으로 촉발된 정부 정책의 변화로 2010년 1차 선발 방식을 지필고사에서 서류전형으로 바꾸는 등 대대적인 개편을 겪었다. 그 결과로 지원자 수의 급감 등 양적 변화 외에 지원자의 성향에 있어서도 상당한 변화가 예상되고 있다. 이에 따라 2011년도 KAO 2차 선발 심층면접 참가 학생 96명을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사를 토대로 KAO 참가 동기, 참가준비방법, 타 올림피아드 중복 참가 여부, 그리고 천문올림피아드 자체교육(온라인 강좌, 인터넷과제, 주말교육) 및 서류심사, 심층면접에 대한 평가 의견을 전체 및 소속 학교별, 성별, 지역별로 분류하여 분석하였다. 또한 위의 결과를 2010년도에 시범적으로 실시한 설문조사 결과와 비교 분석하여 시간적 변화 추이에 대해서도 살펴보았다. 이로부터 도출된 결론을 바탕으로 단기적 관점에서 KAO의 선발 방식 및 선발학생의 교육을 어떤 방식으로 개선해나가야 할지, 그리고 장기적 관점에서 천문학에 관심 있는 과학영재를 어떻게 발굴하고 육성해나갈지에 대해 논의했다.

  • In this study, the goals and the short and long term plan to attain the goals were set up through the analysis of non-government environmental protection organizations actual conditions which were grasped through interview and questionnaire. The goals and the plan were modified and elaborated through 3 times environment experts conferences and a public hearing. The goals were as follows: a) Laying down the guidelines on the organizations. b) Establishing a view of environment. c) Paying a public attention to importance of environment. d) Activations the practice in environmental protection movement. e) Harmonizing the relations between the organizations themselves. government and the organizations, industries and the organizations. f) Establishing the government support system to the organizations in leagal. administrative and financial aspects. g) Enhancing the potentialities on research and development in environmental protection technology. In the short and long term plan, the specific activities to be driven up to the year 2000 were presented by stages.

  • In spite of magnificent growth of The startup education in terms of volumes and varieties, Theoric bases and logics of startup education design are not sufficient and vulnerable. The major reasons of these situations are caused not only by the facts that the startup education has been prepared by the governmental needs but also by the objective in short term period. Considering the fact that the startup educations are also one of classical education itself, it should be adopted the proper education paradigm on its program design. Especially it should be considered of basic education component in startup education design such as education supplier (educator, teacher), education demander (student, educator himself) and education program. In this research, we has reviewed andn proposed efficient design directions and practical strategies for the efficient startup education programs.

Operation and Analysis of field-oriented training to enforce the field education (현장성 강화를 위한 현장직무연수에 대한 운영 및 분석)

  • Nowadays, technologies are changing so fast as due to the advancement of industrial structure, and those situations require the change in the curriculum and educational method of vocational high schools. To satisfy those requirements, field-oriented training program was designed and operated. In this research, we evaluated and analyzed short medium and long term field-oriented training program operated by KOREATECH Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) in 2013. Evaluation results shows that the satisfaction about field-oriented training is very high, and we propose improvement scheme in order that the field-oriented training can be established as a proper program to cope with the changing industry and technologies.

The Effects of Coping Strategies on Academic Burnout: A short-term Longitudinal Study Focused on Suppression Effects (스트레스 대처방식이 학업소진에 미치는 영향: 억제효과를 중심으로 한 단기 종단연구)

  • This is a longitudinal study which analyzed suppression effects of active/passive coping strategies on academic burnout, using a structural equation modeling. A total of 357 middle school students participated in this study for two waves. In order to measure the levels of students' coping strategies and academic burnout, the Ways of Coping Checklist and the Korean version of Maslach Burnout InventoryStudent Survey(MBI-SS) were used. Latent variables were constructed with standardized residuals computed from a simple linear regression in order to capture the intra-individual changes between two time points. The results of this study are like below. First, the relationship between the change of active coping strategy and the change of passive coping strategy is positively and significantly related with each other. This result indicates that students under stress use various coping strategies simultaneously. Second, significant suppression effects were revealed between the change of active coping strategy and the change of passive coping strategy. That is, when controlling passive coping strategy, the negative relationship between the change of active coping strategy and the change of academic burnout increased. On the other hand, when controlling active coping strategy, the positive relationship between the change of passive coping strategy and the change of academic burnout increased. Based on these results, the value of this study and implications for counseling were discussed.

A Study on the Effect of Web-based Research Ethics Education (웹기반 연구윤리교육의 유효성에 대한 실증적 연구)

  • This study empirically investigates the effect of web-based research ethics education to principal investigator who conduct national research project. The web-based research ethics education program was devised and operate for each research field. After education educational satisfaction, understanding and moral judgement were investigated. The research results revealed that education was improving educational satisfaction and but also understanding whereas moral judgement was not. These findings imply that moral judgement was not enhancing though short-term research ethics education as preceding research. Moreover, this paper speaks to a supplemented program with methods of ethics education which needs more interactive communication within long-term education for enhancing effectiveness of instruction.

Case study of extended reality education and field application of pre-service elementary teachers (예비 초등교사의 확장현실 교육 및 현장 적용 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to design a training program for pre-service elementary teachers, incorporating the concepts of extended reality technologies. This program contained the basic skills necessary for them to utilize in their future classrooms. To accomplish this, 12 undergraduate students of various majors enrolled in one of Korea's national universities of education were selected as research subjects. For a total of 6 times over 6 weeks, they participated in a training program learning the basic concepts of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, as well as creating their own education software to use in simulated classes. To improve the quality of future research efforts, this study found it would be beneficial to: 1) expand the relevant support equipment, 2) provide students with preliminary, background knowledge of text-based programming, 3) introduce short-term, more intensive training, and 4) improve the survey methods for this research.

  • 시뮬레이터를 기반으로 하는 CANDU 설계분석시스템 구축을 장기목표로 한 플랜트-제어모사해석기는, 단기적으로는 플랜트의 동적 성능 분석에 의한 원자력 엔지니어들의 개념교육, 발전소 운전원들에 대한 현상학적 발전소 거동이해, 종합적 엔지니어링 시뮬레이터 개발을 위한 R&D 도구로서의 역할이 기대되며, 장기적으로는 엔지니어링 데이터베이스의 공유를 통한 CADD, 시뮬레이터를 이용한 플랜트설계분석시스템의 통합을 이룰 수 있는 기반기술로 자리잡게 될 것이다. 특히 가상현실이라는 개념을 도입해 값비싼 실제 플랜트시설 없이 다양한 운전상황하에서의 플랜트의 성능과 상태를 현장감 있는 환경을 구성해서 모니터링하고 예측할 수 있는 기술의 개발에 활용될 것이다.

해사영어훈련센터(METC) 설립방안 연구

  • 해사영어는 SMCP(표준해사통신용어)를 기반으로 하는 특수목적영어의 한 분야로 콘텐츠 개발을 비롯한 학습과 훈련을 지원할 수 있는 해사영어훈련기관을 통해 효과적인 학습과 훈련이 제공되어 진다면 교육생을 단기간에 그 구사 능력을 상당한 수준에 이르게 할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 우리나라 해양분야의 국제 경쟁력을 제고하고 새로운 일자리 창출을 위해 필수적인 해양산업 종사자들의 영어구사 능력개발을 위한 해사영어훈련센터(METC)의 필요성과 설립방안을 제시한다.
