  • This study was to examine the group difference of parental composition (parents, single parent group) in the relationship between parental attitude (supervision, affection, rational explanation) and children's life satisfaction through ego-resilience as a mediating factor. For this, a multi-group analysis was conducted using 310 student data from the 4th panel data of the KCYPS. The results were as follows: First, parents' affectionate parenting attitude on children's life satisfaction was significant in both groups. Second, affectionate and supervisory attitude had effects to improve ego-resilience only in the single-parent group. Third, the affectionate attitude showed a significant positive effect on children's life satisfaction by mediating ego-resilience only in single parent group. This study verified the structural relationship of factors affecting children's life satisfaction and different the pattern of that relationship depending on parental composition. Finally, limitations and implications for future research were presented.

The subjects of this study were elderly aged 60 or older who are living in the metropolitan area and those reportedly participating in various social activities at the time of the survey. A total of 586 cases were used for the analysis. Data were analyzed through multi group analysis using a structural equation model, and AMOS 7.0 was used in statistical processing. The results of this study showed that, first, the quality of life was significantly and positively affected by flow experiences in economic participation, social fellowship participation, and self development participation. Second, the results of multi group analysis on the relations between the social participation level and the quality of life according to gender demonstrated that the there were gender differences on the full path model, and that there were significant differences in relationships between the volume of social fellowship participation and the quality of life between men and women. • The study aimed to examine the longitudinal relationship between addictive use of mobile phones and learning activities for elementary school students and to analyze (1)temporal changes of the addictive use of mobile phones and learning activities, (2)temporal relationship between them, and (3)multiple and complex group analysis across gender on the relationship. For the study, 3-year longitudinal data(2010-2012) of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey and autoregressive cross-lagged modeling were used. The findings showed that the addictive use of mobile phones and learning activities had a significant positive effect on the future selves of children over time. The addictive use of mobile phones influenced positively subsequent learning activities, but, the learning activities did not affect the addictive use of mobile phones. Further, there were no significant gender differences in the longitudinal relationship. The study provided the useful data to make guidelines on how to protect mobile phone addiction for elementary school students.

  • The purpose of this study aimed to analyze the difference of the Sasang constitution type in the relationship between university life stress and mental stress. The data were collected by a self-reported questionnaire from 389 university students and 389 students were classified by QSCC II.(136 So-Eum, 139 So-Yang, 114 Tae-Eum). Multi-group analysis was performed to analyze the differences in the effects of university life stress on mental health according to the type of sasang constitution. Multi-group analysis was performed to analyze the differences in the effects of university life stress on mental health according to the type of sasang constitution. According to multi-group analysis, there were statistically significant differences in the effects of university life stress on mental health across So-Eum-So-Yang, Tae-Eum-So-Yang. Based on these results, a differentiated intervention plan suitable for sasang constitution was proposed.

  • This paper aims to empirically analyze the factors of difference in trust level for Internet-only bank by age groups. The purpose of this study is to provide clues and a research data in developing differentiation strategies that can increase consumer's trust by age group. In this study, above all, the financial consumer group was divided into the 2030s and 4050s based on age. The study explored the trust determinants of the two groups and compared the differences between the two groups using a multi-group analysis method. As results, in all age groups, financial consumer's trust was seen as a determinant of convenience, security and benefit of financial transaction costs. The difference of the determinant of trust between 2030s and 4050s occurred in the factor of benefit. Moreover, it reconfirmed that consumer's trust is later strongly extended to relationship commitment. These findings suggest that trust is of paramount importance to the Internet-only bank, whose market competition will intensify in the future.

  • This study examined the relationship between family socioeconomic status, emotional behavioral problems, parental composition, and parents' life satisfaction, all of which are factors that affect the life satisfaction of Korean middle school students. To this end, multi-group analysis was conducted on KCYPS panel data. The results showed four major patterns. First, family socioeconomic status has a significant direct effect on the students' life satisfaction only when the student has two parents and when the student's parents have high life satisfaction. Second, family socioeconomic status only significantly influenced students' emotional behavioral problems when parents had low life satisfaction, regardless of parental composition. Third, the mediating effect of emotional behavioral problems (aggression) in the relationship between family socioeconomic status and student life satisfaction was only significant when the student had two-parents and when the student's parents' had low life satisfaction. Fourth, depression was the variable most stronly correlated with student life satisfaction. This paper discusses the limitations of this study and the impliations of its results about how to improve students' life satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the difference of corporate social responsibility(hereinafter referred to as "CSR") effects on SME's depending on the level of business risk perception. For this aim, we divided the analysis target SEM's into two groups according to the level of business risk perception and examine whether there is any difference in CSR effects through t-test and the test of the structural model invariance across the groups. As a results, the difference of CSR activities between the two groups occurred in the communication and strategy. In terms of CSR effects, there was a gap in the financial performance.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating roles of children interpersonal relations and mental health in the relationship between parent-child relationships and school life happiness, and the differences between single-parent and two-parent families, using structural equation modeling. Data were obtained from the 2013(second-wave) year of the Korean Educational Longitudinal Study. This study selected 6,643 elementary school 6th-grade students(756 from single-parent families and 5,887 from two-parent families). Data were examined with structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis using AMOS 18.0, and mediating effects were tested using the Sobel test. The results were as follows; First, the single-parent children reported lower levels of interpersonal relations, mental health, and school life happiness than the two-parent children. Second, interpersonal relations and mental health did play a mediating role in the relationship between parent-child relationships and school life happiness. Third, as a result of examining for total effect, the variable that most influenced school life happiness of children was interpersonal relations. Fourth, multi-group analysis did not show a statistically significant difference between single- and two-parent children in structural equation modeling.
