The large portion of communication service areas move from a legacy wire-line voice service to mobile data service. For the purpose of satisfaction on market need, many communication systems should be installed and upgraded based on a mobile wide-band transmission facility. Recently, large part of communication service is based on internet protocol by packet switch techniques and required new technologies such as multimedia processing, QoS achievement, and mobility managememobile communication network such as IS-95A/B and CDMA2000-1X. In this paper, I analyzed the network architecture and service provision methods. in CDMA2000-1X nt. In korea, a CDMA communication technique is standardized for digital mobile communication systems. By using the analysed results, I will extract an efficient method for network evolution and a core technique for next generation mobile communication network.

In wavelength-routed all-optical networks, signals are transmitted on a direct optical path, or a lightpath, in a single-hop manner without opto-electronic/electro-optic(OE/EO) conversion at intermediate nodes. However, due to the physical constraints of optical elements such as ASE noise and crosstalk signals can be degraded un a long path. To establish a connection under such impairments, the optical signal may need to be regenerated at intermediate nodes, dividing a lightpath into two or more fragments. However, since signal regeneration at intermediate nodes requires additional network resources, the selection of these nodes should be made carefully to minimize blocking of other lightpaths. In this paper, we deal with the problem of establishing a lightpath in a multihop manner under physical constraints. We provide both minimal-cost and heuristic algorithms for locating signal regeneration nodes(SRNs). For a minimal-cost algorithm, we formulate the problem using dynamic programming(DP) such that blocking of other lightpaths due to the lack of transmitters/receivers(TXs/RXs) and wavelengths is minimized throughout the network.

In this paper, the performance of the various multiple accesstechniques for the mobile computer network has been studied in the consideration of the characteristics. Of the mobile communication channel. In the case of the hidden node occurring, it could be seen that the performance of the code division multiple access(CDMA) technique. With simultaneous access function is better than that of the other packet access methods such as carrier sensed multiple access(CAMA). Busy tone mulitiple access(BTMA)and idle signal muitiple access(ISMA) in the view of the throuhtput and mean delay time. Also it has been shown that the performance of the CDMA method is superior to that of other packet access techniques such as multiple access(CSMA).etc when the fading effect or impulsive noise exists in the mobile channel. Especially in the case of the distributed mobile network. It has been shown that the receiver-transmitter based CDMA method using the characteristics of CDMA effectively has better throughput and less mean delay time than the commontransmitter based CDMA technique.

A large number of motors and sensors are used to drive a humanoid robot. In order to solve the wiring problem that occurs when connecting multiple actuators, a controller based on a communication network has been used, and CAN, which is advantageous in terms of cost and a highly reliable communication protocol, was mainly used. In terms of the structure of the controller, a torque control type structure that is easy to implement an advanced algorithm into the upper controller is preferred. In this case, the low communication bandwidth of CAN becomes a problem, and in order to obtain sufficient communication bandwidth, a communication network is configured by separating into a plurality of CAN networks. In this study, a stability analysis on transmission time delay is performed for a multi-motor control system in which high-speed FlexRay and low-speed CAN communication networks are hierarchically connected in order to obtain a high communication bandwidth, and sensor information and driving signals are delivered within the allowed transmission time. The proposed hierarchical network-based control system is expected to improve control performance because it can implement multiple motor control systems with a single network.

Data communications at sea are done by the traditional radio and satellite carriers. Because of the restrictions on the data rate and cost of the carriers, a novel data communication system at sea is needed. Nowadays the efforts to make use of the broadband land carriers at sea have been pursued. This paper proposes a routing scheme (NTCR) using the various carriers on land for a MANET model at sea. The NTCR scheme optimizes the route using a chosen carrier by taking considerations of normalized transmission characteristics (NTC) of applications and carriers. The NTCR scheme is compared with the MWR (max-win based routing) scheme.

This paper proposes a design of asymmetric time division multiple access method for tactical radio communication. Typical tactical radio communication has a limited execution of transmission, because uplink message requires more extended response time than downlink message. In order to solve this problem, this paper analyzes operational environment of Korean tactical radio communication and proposes an asymmetric TDMA based on it for performance of tactical communication. The simulation model is used to investigate constraints of real experiments for proving effectiveness of the proposed approach. Simulations results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional scheme in terms of throughput, response time, and delay.

In this paper, we propose a new frame structure and the underlying dynamic resource control mechanism to support an integrated service, including a real-time (RT) service that requires to serve the end-to-end delay performance, as well as non-real-time (NRT) service, using Self-Organizing Time Division Multiple Access (SO-TDMA)-based MAC protocol in a multi-hop ad-hoc maritime communication network. The underlying frame structure is dynamically configured by resource allocation to guarantee the average target outage performance of the real-time service. Toward this end, we analyze the average outage probability and its performance is verified for the proposed frame structure by simulation.

In this paper, we evaluate performance of multiple access for distributed wireless communication network by CSMA protocol. It is envident that the existence of hidden node in an environment degrades the performance of CSMA. In order to improve performance due to the problem of hidden node, the previous paper used random multiple access protocols a as such as ISMA, BTMA, BCMA. In this paper, We propose a protocol that we can improve performance by allowing node to sense the carrier of any other transmission on the channel in the distributed wireless communication networks The probability of transmission success was obtained by steady stats analysis under given assumptions. We confirmed that hidden node problem be virtually elimated by using a new protocol.
