  • A preliminary design process in the multi-stage gear drives design is important part. a preliminary design support system which run efficiently the design is developed with fuzzy expert system. the system automatically generate the mechanism of multi-stats gear drives and select a candidate mechanism by the general expert rule and sorting using fuzzy expert system. the preliminary mechanism design of multi-stage gear drives have a short execution time, add accuracy in a preliminary design considering volume, cost, power and efficiency in preliminary, a design efficiency is increased and a preliminary design have a elasticity using a weight on variable's sorting mechanism.

  • Conceptual system design of a multistage centrifugal air-compressor is the first loop of design procedure. The properly designed system is important for compactness, low manufacturing cost, easy controllability, fast extension for the new specification of the compressor. A simple procedure of conceptual system design is proposed in the present study using simple analysis. A few examples of the procedure for a real system are shown and several design aspects are discussed.

  • 다단 임팩터는 수십 나노미터에서 수십 마이크로미터 크기의 대기 에어로졸의 입경분포를 측정하는 장비로 사용되어 왔다. 최근에는 전기적 임팩터가 개발되어 기존 다단임팩터의 문제점인 운전이 번거롭고, 측정시간이 오래 걸리는 단점을 보완하였다. 전기적 임팩터는 실시간으로 에어로졸의 크기분포를 측정할 수 있으므로, 대기환경 모니터링, 디젤 자동차에서 배출되는 입자상 물질(PM, particulate matter)의 측정, 대기오염 방시시설을 구비한 공장, 발전소, 소각로 등의 PM 모니터링 시스템 등에 응용될 수 있다.(중략)

  • Recently, multilevel H-bridge inverters have become popular in medium to high power ac drive applications. One of significant advantages of them is low harmonic contents in their input line currents thanks to the transformer with multiple phase-shifted secondary windings. This paper attempts to provide basic guidelines for the design of the phase shifting transformer windings and theoretical analysis of input line current harmonics of H-bridge inverters. The part I provides the derivation of basic relationships between input and output current of the transformer and the relationship between the phase shifting characteristics and design aspects of the transformer.

  • Several data from equipments on shipboard have been used for the safe navigation of ships. Due to the varieties of data, however, there may be difficulties to manage those data separately. Therefore, it can be effective to develop database for the integrated management of ship data. However, the database may become full soon because huge amount of data are saved continuously. To cope with this problem, this paper proposes multistage database which can always keep the database under full by means of sampling mechanism. To verify the functionality of the methodology, a prototype system has been implemented and tested.

  • A new design method of the microwave multisection impedance transformer is proposed. This method is based on the inverse scattering theory using the frequency domain reflection coefficient of the transformer to be designed. In the first step, the permittivity profile of a virtual one-dimensional dielectric medium is reconstructed using the desired reflection coefficient. In the second step, the transformer which is equivalent to the reconstructed dielectric medium in view of reflection characteristics is synthesized. Theoretically, this method can be used to design the impedance matching transformers with arbitrary passband characteristics within the limit of the Bode-Fano criteria[1]. Our approach is examined for two design examples to show that it is valid.

  • 본 논문에서는, axa 출력 버퍼 스위치로 구성된 핫스팟이 발생된 상황 하에서 다단 연결 망(Multistage interconnection Network, MIN)의 성능 예측 모형을 제안하였다. 제안한 성능 예측 오형은 먼저 네트워크 내부 임의 스위치 입력 단에 유입되는 데이터 패킷이 스위치 내부에서 전송되는 유형을 확률적으로 분석하여 설계하였다. 성능분석 모형은 스위치에 장착된 버퍼의 개수와 무관하게 버퍼를 장착한 axa 스위치의 성능, 네트워크 정상상태 처리율(Normalized Throughput, NT)과 네트워크 지연시간(Network Delay)의 예측이 가능하고, 나아가서 이들로 구성진 모든 종류의 다단 연결망 성능 분석에 적용이 용이하다. 제안한 수학적 성능 분석 연구의 실효성 검증을 위하여 병행된 시뮬레이션 결과는 상호 미세한 오차 범위 내에서 모형의 예측 데이터와 일치하는 결과를 보여 분석 모형의 타당성을 입증하였다.
