일차 다개체 시스템의 그룹 평균 상태일치와 그룹 대형 상태일치 (Group Average-consensus and Group Formation-consensus for First-order Multi-agent Systems)

  • This paper investigates the group average-consensus and group formation-consensus problems for first-order multi-agent systems. The control protocol for group consensus is designed by considering the positive adjacency elements. Since each intra-group Laplacian matrix cannot be satisfied with the in-degree balance because of the positive adjacency elements between groups, we decompose the Laplacian matrix into an intra-group Laplacian matrix and an inter-group Laplacian matrix. Moreover, average matrices are used in the control protocol to analyze the stability of multi-agent systems with a fixed and undirected communication topology. Using the graph theory and the Lyapunov functional, stability analysis is performed for group average-consensus and group formation-consensus, respectively. Finally, some simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control protocol for group consensus.

  • This paper propose a mobile robot for the obstacle avoidance control. The proposed method based on self-organization method is a way to escape of obstacle. Optimal path planning and obstacle avoidance, depending on its final goal will arrive at exactly the mobile robot. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed method.

  • This paper proposes an environment monitoring algorithm using a behavior-based multiple robot system. This paper handles an escort and a boundary-tracking especially. Unlike previous research works, the proposed environment monitoring system which is based on the behavior-based multiple robot control allows the system to employ the reusable code and general algorithm. Also, the proposed method can be applied to cheaper process with low performances. In the proposed method, escort and boundary-tracking missions are constructed by weighted sum of predefined basic behaviors after redefining the basic behaviors in previous works and introducing the novel basic behavior. Simulation results of the proposed method are included to demonstrate the practical application of the proposed algorithm.

  • This paper presents synchronization of LTV (Linear Time-Varying) MAS (Multi-Agent Systems) with heterogeneous time-varying disturbances under a fixed, connected, and undirected communication network. All the agents can collect only relative state information from their neighborhoods. To achieve synchronization of the MAS, an integral control scheme is proposed based on relative state information between agents.

  • This paper discusses a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy controller design problem for a phugoid model-based multi-agent system. The error between the state of a phugoid model and a reference is defined to construct a multi-agent system model. A T-S fuzzy model of the multi-agent system is built by introducing a nonlinear controller. A fuzzy controller is then designed to stabilize the T-S fuzzy model, where the synthesis condition is represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities.

  • An increasing number of researches and developments for personal or professional service robots are attracting a lot of attention and interest industrially and academically during the past decade. Furthermore, the development of intelligent robots is intensively fostered as strategic industry. Until now, most of practical and commercial service robots are worked by remotely operated controller. The most important technical issue of remote control is a wireless communication, especially in the indoor and unstructured environments where communication infrastructures might be destroyed by various disasters. Therefore we propose a multi-robot following navigation method for securing the valid communication distance extension of the remote control based on WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Networks). The concept and implementation of following navigation are introduced and the performance verification is performed through real navigation experiments in real or test-bed environments.

우두머리가 있는 두 생물무리의 가로지르기 동역학 (Crossing Dynamics of Leader-guided Two Flocks)

  • 우리는 두 생물무리가 서로 가로지르거나 결합하는 현상을 주변에서 흔히 볼 수 있다. 예로, 하천의 물고기 무리가 운동하다 바위나 돌같은 장애물을 만나 두 무리로 나누어졌다가 장애물 뒤에서 다시 하나로 합쳐지는 현상이 있다. 우두머리를 가지는 두 생물 무리가 각도${\theta}$를 가지고 서로 충돌하면서 가로질러 지나갈 때의 동역학을 연구하였다. 두 무리의 각 우두머리 개체는 다른 개체에 의해 영향을 받지 않는다. 이에 비해 무리의 개체들은 우두머리의 운동방향을 쫓아 가도록 시뮬레이션 되었다. 이 두 무리의 가로지르기 동역학을 이해하기 위해서, 무리개체의 평균 단위속도의 합으로 정의되는 질서매개변수${\phi}$를 조사하였다. 두 무리가 서로 만나는 순간, 두 무리의 운동량 균형이 무너지면서 ${\phi}$값이 급격히 올라갔다. 그리고 두 무리가 서로 분리되어질 때, 두 번째로 ${\phi}$값이 피크를 보였다. 무리개체들은 서로 충돌하면서 그들의 우두머리 개체를 쫓아가는데 방해를 받게 되는데 이로 인해 두 번째 피크이후에 불규칙적인 작은 피크들이 관측되었다. 두 피크값, $d_1$ (첫번째) 그리고 $d_2$ (두번째), 은 서로 다른 충돌각도 ${\theta}$에 대해서 동기화 현상을 보였다. 이 시뮬레이션 모델은 생물행동을 연구하거나 다개체 로봇 시스템 개발에 유용하게 사용되어 질수 있다.

  • This paper presents obstacle avoidance method for scout robot or industrial robot in unknown environment by using IR sensor and vision system. In the proposed method, robots share the information where the obstacles are located in real-time, thus the robots can choose the best path for obstacle avoidance. Using IR sensor and vision system, multiple robots efficiently evade the obstacles by the proposed cooperation method. No landmark is used at wall or floor in experiment environment. The obstacles don't have specific color or shape. To get the information of the obstacle, vision system extracts the obstacle coordinate by using an image labeling method. The information obtained by IR sensor is about the obstacle range and the locomotion direction to decide the optimal path for avoiding obstacle. The experiment was conducted in $7m{\times}7m$ indoor environment with two-wheeled mobile robots. It is shown that multiple robots efficiently move along the optimal path in cooperation with each other in the space where obstacles are located.

  • This paper proposes a beacon color code scheduling algorithm for the localization of multiple robots in a multi-block workspace. With the developments of intelligent robotics and ubiquitous technology, service robots are applicable for the wide area such as airports and train stations where multiple indoor GPS systems are required for the localization of the mobile robots. Indoor localization schemes using ultrasonic sensors have been widely studied due to its cheap price and high accuracy. However, ultrasonic sensors have some shortages of short transmission range and interferences with other ultrasonic signals. In order to use multiple robots in wide workspace concurrently, it is necessary to resolve the interference problem among the multiple robots in the localization process. This paper proposes an indoor localization system for concurrent multiple robots localization in a wide service area which is divided into multi-block for the reliable sensor operation. The beacon color code scheduling algorithm is developed to avoid the signal interferences and to achieve efficient localization with high accuracy and short sampling time. The performance of the proposed localization system is verified through the simulations and the real experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 Passive RFID system으로 구성된 Smart Floor 환경에서 다 개체 로봇의 효율적인 영역 탐색 방법을 제안한다. 연구에서 사용된 Passive RFID system 은 RF 안테나의 인식 범위 내에 있는 RF 태그에 사용자가 원하는 정보를 저장하고 읽을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 명시적인 위치정보를 저장한 RF 태그를 바닥에 매설한 Smart Floor 라는 환경을 구축하였고, 로봇에 설치되어 있는 안테나를 통하여 태그로부터 받아들인 위치정보를 논문에서 제안하는 방법으로 가공하여 모바일 로봇의 위치를 추정함과 동시에 Smart Floor 내의 다른 로봇에게 자신의 이동 흔적을 남김으로써 기존 탐색 기법에 비해 전체 영역 탐색 시간을 단축하여 효율을 높였다. 본 논문에서는 Smart Floor 환경을 활용하여 모바일 로봇의 효율적인 이동 알고리즘을 제안한다.
