핸드니트 기법을 응용한 니트디자인 연구 (Knit Design Represented with the Technique of Hand-knit)

  • This study analyzed the knit wear trend, which has gained attention as a sensuous and luxury item, through collection magazines, and used the technique of hand-knit to produce and present the knit wear that was designed based on the study results. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to raise awareness of the expansion of hand knit's new expression techniques and expression areas and to verify its possibility as a higher value-added product. The trends of hand-knit wear resulted from the analysis of collections divided into the following four groups, and the knit designs were also grouped accordingly: First was "The design using object." The trend survey showed the results that the form of drops or flowers was often used as a factor of object. Accordingly, as for the study design, the drop-knitting technique, which is one of the pattern knitting techniques, was used to present a design that employed drops as the object. Second was "The design matched with woven material." It is a way to emphasize aesthetic formativeness and at the same time to activate the area of knit design by matching woven material, which is different from knit in texture, with knit. This study presented a design that tried to combine knit texture and woven material by connecting denim material with various textures and colors. Third was "The design to express see-through." A sense of showing through knit wear was expressed through changes in the type of thread or knitting technique. In this study, the sense of see-through was expressed using piano wires and wool threads and through changes in the thickness of needle. Fourth was "The design to emphasize coloring." It was analyzed that regarding the production of hand knit, the method of coloring expression was to express points, lines and sides or to create harmony by changing the material's color or texture to show particular objects or shapes. In this study, a jacket was designed using the method to express points, lines and sides by changing the material's color.

  • 본 연구는 니팅머신을 이용한 니트 커스터마이징 웹 사이트 개발 작업을 2년 반 동안 실시한 후 도출된 결과물을 담고 있다. 최근 패션계에서는 커스터마이징을 활용한 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 니트 또한 니팅머신을 활용하여 사용자가 직접 디자인할 수 있는 기기가 개발되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 니팅머신용 웹 사이트는 일정한 사용성이나 레이아웃이 제공되지 않아 사용자가 오픈소스와 커스터마이징 디자인을 이용하는 것에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 니팅머신을 이용하여 니트 커스터마이징 서비스를 이용하게 될 사용자에게 사용편의성을 제공하는 웹 사이트 개발을 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구 방법으로는 니트 커스터마이징 웹 사이트 개발 작업을 위해 진행된 연구들을 종합하여 1차 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 연구 결과 초기 커스텀 화면과 초기 출력 화면의 문제점을 찾았으며, 편의성, 직관성, 가독성 부분을 개선하였다. 수정된 웹사이트를 대상으로 2차 사용성 평가를 진행하여 문제점이 보완된 것을 확인 하였다. 본 연구에서 최종적으로 도출된 웹 사이트를 통해 국내 니트 시장의 새로운 플랫폼의 대중화와 커스터마이징 웹사이트의 사용성 향상을 기대한다.

니트 캐드 프로그램을 활용한 니트디자인 프로세스 적용 방안 (An Application of Knit Design Process Using a Knit CAD Program)

  • The knitwear industry requires ways to satisfy a changing environment. This study suggests a knitwear design process using a knit CAD program. Such a process needs to implement a CAD system that develops a sufficient knit design system to advance the knitwear industry in both planning and manufacturing. In order to contextualize this research, this study reviewed the current state and problems of the knitwear industry and the market, and investigated the actual condition in which the CAD system is used in knit design by CAD system service providers. The findings of the study are as follows: First, All brands had individual ways to reduce the amount of lead-time. The knit designers pointed out that any given sample product is made in the form of a swatch; after the knitting step and prior to the manufacturing process. In women's wear brands, basting was inserted into the production process in order to reduce the amount of sample losses. Second, a CAD program enables the uses of swatches to see the adequacy of yams, textures, and style that simulate the completed style. Third, this study examined the efficiency of knit design process conducted by the knit design CAD system based on expert assessments, showing that the use of a knit CAD program in commercial knit design proved to be more efficient than in previous models.

봉제형과 무봉제형 니트웨어 제품의 역학적 특성 비교 연구 - 니트 풀오버의 암홀부분을 중심으로 - (Comparative Study of the Mechanical Property of Shaping and WholeGarment Knit Wear - Focused on Armhole Part in Knit Pullover -)

  • This research is about the mechanical properties of knit pullover of Shaping and WholeGarment according to structured patterns and form of the armhole. For the study 12 samples are prepared under different conditions and through comparative analysis of each sample's armhole around armpit in basic properties, tensile strength & elongation and residual elongation after repeated extensions, the conclusion is as follows. As a result of comparing basic properties of structured pattern of Shaping and WholeGarment samples, in all structured patterns Shaping samples weighed more. According to the comparative analysis of tensile strength & elongation of Shaping and WholeGarment samples, Machi on both sides of WholeGarment samples showed the highest strength. By comparing outcome of residual elongation by structured pattern of Shaping and WholeGarment samples, both types were observed to have the residual elongation increase in the order of Plain

국내외 SPA 브랜드 니트웨어의 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 - 2019년 S/S 시즌 중심으로 - (A study on design characteristics of SPA brand knitwear in domestic and overseas markets - With a Focus on the 2019 S/S Season -)

  • The fashion market is expanding and competition is intensifying due to the contraction of consumption in response to the economic recession and changes in trends. In this study, design characteristics reflecting the brand identity and trend are analyzed as important factors for success. In this study, we will look at the design characteristics of knitwear among SPA brand products and help to plan knit designs. First, six brands were selected based on the sales and the number of stores in domestic and foreign SPA brands. The selected brands include UNIQLO, ZARA, H&M, SPAO, TOPTEN, and 8Seconds. We have selected weft knitting knitwear products(1,736 pieces), which are currently sold in domestic and foreign SPA brands, as silhouette items, knitwear design items, gauges, colors, patterns, images, and items as analysis items to analyze the causes of the differences in the design characteristics of domestic and foreign knitwear. The SPA brand has a wide range of tattoo floors, emphasizing practical aspects, a silhouette that fits the body, and a comfortable daily style. Domestic and foreign SPA brands did not show much difference, but Korean brands had a lower diversity of organization and used color for stable sales, showing a lower concern in trend and strong point color applications. If foreign brands pursue femininity based on a sexy image, Korean brands displayed a difference, emphasizing cute images. As for other design factors, it was found that brand identity was reflected more than domestically. As the cycle of trends becomes shorter, fast fashion is expected to continue in the future, and it is hoped that this research will be used as useful data for design projects of domestic companies.

니트 갑피를 활용한 스니커즈의 스타일 유형 및 디자인 특성 (Style Types and Design Features of Sneakers using the Knitted Upper)

  • 본 연구는 상품과 생산, 마케팅 등 다양한 측면에서 장점을 갖고 있어 급격하게 비중이 커져가는 니트 갑피를 활용한 스니커즈의 스타일 유형과 디자인 특성을 분석하여 디자인 전략과 상품 개발의 방향을 설정하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 니트 갑피 스니커즈 시장에서 주목받고 있는 브랜드의 상품과 온라인 마켓에서 인기를 끌고 있는 상품 총 924개를 대상으로 스타일 유형과 디자인 특성을 분석하였다. 분석된 연구의 결과는 첫째, 고유성으로, 전통적인 소재와 제작기법을 따르지 않음으로써 니트 갑피 스니커즈만의 고유한 하이브리드적 스타일과 디자인이 정립되고 있다. 둘째, 복합성으로 컬러와 소재에 있어 다양한 조합을 통해 각각의 특성을 살린 멀티플한 이미지를 창출하고 있다. 셋째, 실험성으로 일반 스니커즈에 비해 한층 더 공학적이고 새로운 재료와 기법을 접목하여 과감한 디자인 변화를 꾀하고 있다. 스니커즈 시장이 날로 확대되어 가는 현 시점에서 산업의 경향을 반영한 본 연구를 통해 신발 분야에 대한 다양한 연구 활동과 산업 분야의 브랜드 기획 방향에 기초적인 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

국내외 무봉제 니트웨어 디자인 경향 (Seamless Garment Knitwear Design Trend)

  • This study is the design case analysis of seamless knitwear in order to suggest a new direction of high value-added seamless knitwear and seek for its possibility. Seamless knitwear is the up-to-date knit product that is made by a knitting machine without sewing, and it maintains elasticity of a material itself and is the closest type to the essence of knitwear. The seamless knitwear can satisfy satisfaction of customers with more elegance and individuality and become a method to develop a high value-added design. This study suggests a new direction for the 21st century knitwear design through a practical approach of seamless knitwear designs, pursues a high value fashion, and contributes to improving national competitiveness of fashion industries in order to be a practical research data for seamless knitwear designs.

여성용 Knit Block의 신장률 배분 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution Methods of Tensile Property for Women′s Knit Block)

  • Recently, knitted materials are used more often than ever before in fashion. Therefore it is necessary to study their application into garment patterns. The purpose of this study was to develop a system by which the tensile property of knitted fabrics can be applied. In this study, 5 different distribution methods of tensile property were tested on 2 sample fabrics which have a lower and higher tensile property than moderate-stretch. The subjects were five women within an age range from 18 to 24 who showed average body figures. The major findings derived from this investigation were as follows; The 4th method was regarded as the most valid. The 4th method was fixed proportional alteration based on the reduction amount of bust girth, i.e. front (back) width and shoulder width reduced by 60% of the bust girth reduction and neck point reduced by 28% of the bust girth reduction. When the reduction was based on the proportion of the actual measurements, the alteration was too severe, so that the armhole curve was changed into a very uncomfortable curve.

니트업체의 소재기획 및 생산.품질관리에 관한 실태 조사 (A Study on the Fabric Planning and Production.duality Management of Women s Knitwear Industries)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the high quality knitwear production. For this purpose, knit promotions that product knitwear for 20 age ∼ 30 middle age women were sampled to survey the fabric planning and production·quality management of knitwear, and their directors were surveyed through direct interviews. Data is processed by a computer(SPSS) and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean. The results of this study are as fellows. 1. Most of the sample companies were getting smaller or pettier in terms of capital, number of employees. 2. Knit promotions were universally using acrid and wool as knit fabric. 3. Knitwear tended to be producted much in knit promotions. 4. It is needed to use high quality fabric and perform careful sewing for knitwear quality rising.
