An Analysis of Reliability and Discrimination Power on Evaluation Criteria of Dream Start Services (드림스타트 사업 평가지표의 신뢰도와 변별력 측정)

  • This research examines whether the evaluation index used Dream Start services operation evaluation has 'reliability in evaluation field and area' and 'whether there is discrimination according to evaluation index'. To do this, we conducted an empirical analysis based on the evaluation data of 126 municipal and provincial governments that received the 2018 Dream Start services operation evaluation. First, as a result of examining whether there is trust in each evaluation area, it was found that the reliability of the basic construction, integrated case management, and service operation field is higher than .6 and the lower evaluation indexes are the same Standards were met. However, the field of resource exploit and connectivity was not so reliable as the concept of sub-domains. Second, 'Are there discriminatory power according to the evaluation indexes?' The results showed that 18 of the 28 indicators were highly discriminative. On the other hand, 10 indicators showed low discrimination power.

  • 요약화일 기법은 대규모 데이터베이스 응용에서 효율적인 색인 기법으로 알려져 있으며 최근에는 보다 빠른 검색을 위해 병렬 요약화일 기법이 제안되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 효율적으로 병렬 처리를 할 수 있는 수직 분할 병렬 요약화일(Vertically-partitioned Parallel Signature File, VPSF) 기법을 제안한다. 본 VPSF는 동적인 환경에 잘 적응하도록 신장해싱을 이용하며, 검색의 효율성을 위해 프레임 슬라이스 기법을 사용한다. 실행의 편중을 없애기 위해 요약을 수직으로 분할하여 레코드를 프로세싱노드에 저장함으로써 병렬처리를 수행한다. 뿐만 아니라, 본 논문에서는 VPSF의 효율성을 보이기 위해 성능평가 모델을 제시하고, 실제의 레코드 집합을 가지고 실험을 실시하여 검색시간, 부가저장공간, 삽입시간에 대해 성능을 평가한다. 또한 레코드 집합의 분포에 다른 성능을 평가하기 위해 표준편차를 반으로 줄인 반 정규분포와 두 배로 크게 한 정규분포에 대한 성능평가를 실시한다. VPSF기법은 기존의 병렬 요약화일 기법들과 비교할 때, 실제 레코드 집합의 정규분포에서 기존의 Hamming filter 보다 평균 40% 정도 검색성능이 개선된다. 반 정규분포에서는 Hamming filter 보다 약 50% , HPSF보다 약 20% 정도 개선된 검색 성능을 보인다. 뿐만 아니라, 부가 저장공간 및 삽입시간에도 기존의 방법들보다 좋은 성능을 보인다. 일반적으로 VPSF는 데이터베이스의 레코드 크기가 서로 비슷할 때 그리고 데이터베이스의 크기가 클수록 우수한 검색 성능을 보인다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a system for evaluating similarity of C program source code using method which compares syntax-trees each others. This method supposes two characteristic features as against other systems. It is not sensitive for program style such as indentation, white space, and comments, and changing order of control structure like sentences, code block, procedures, and so on. Another is that it can detect a syntax-error cause of using paring technique, We introduce algorithms for similarity evaluation method and grouping method that reduces the number of comparison, In the examination section, we show a test result of program similarity evaluation and its reduced iteration by grouping algorithm.

  • In a computing environment connected pan-based computers and a server by Internet, This paper describes a language learning system evaluating the quality of a handwriting string. For the purpose of the system, this paper explains how to retrieve reference data from a database, how to evaluate the quality of a handwriting string using global and local features. The Proposed system can evaluate the qualify of a handwriting string as well as a handwriting character. The qualify can be computed in the case of different language between reference and input. Therefore, we expect that the system is very useful not only for training on handwriting but also learning a language.

  • In component-Based Software Development, the quality of indivisual component is play an important role in quality decision of the whole software. So we need the practical strategy for component testing. In general, component testing can divide focus into producer position and consumer position. In this paper, because the consumer position uses output of the producer position, testing domain is deployed in the producer position. We propose RUP based five step testing processes for component quality evaluation and implements a case study of EJB environment for appling our testing process. This paper shows that proposed five step processes are applicable to component quality evaluation.

  • As XML has been proposed a standard format for organizing and exchanging data in the internet, many applications on managing XML data have been developed. Especially, there are many studies for storing XML documents. It is important to evaluate the performance for efficient storage techniques. In this work, we suggest an efficient technique for storing XML documents using an object-relational database model. We verify the efficiency of a new storage technique through the performance evaluation on XML storage techniques. The contributions of this paper is that we suggest an efficient storage technique using an existing data management model and evaluate the performance for storage techniques for XML documents including an new storage technique.

  • Because of rapid increase of internet user, numerous popular web sites have been made on the internet but it is hard to find out a systematic technique for the selection of qualified web site in consumer position. Generally, there are black box, white box and gray box viewpoint for evaluating web site. In this paper present evaluation criteria based on AHP(Analysis Hierarchy Process) technique of black box viewpoint for optimal web site selection in consumer position. We considered usability, efficiency, compatibility based on ISO/IEC 9126 for quality measurement of web site and executed practical analysis about web site in internet. This paper show that the proposed selection technique is applicable to optimal web site selection.

  • 수질관리에 있어서 무엇보다도 중요한 것이 신뢰성 있는 수질자료를 확보하는 것이다. 우리나라는 원수수질관리를 위해 1970년대 후반부터 수질측정망 단위의 정기적 수질측정이 이루어지기 시작하여 2008년에는 1,476개 지점으로 운영되고 있다. 수질모니터링은 조사지점, 수질항목, 측정 주기 등이 매우 중요한 요인이 되며, 이중에서 특히 조사지점은 가장 중요한 사항으로 판단된다. 그러나 지금까지 저수지에서 수질조사를 위한 관측지점은 대부분 정성적 판단에 따라 정해져 왔기 때문에 수질대표성에 문제가 되기도 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이와같은 수질측정망 구축시 문제점을 개선하기 위해 과학적인 통계기법을 적용한 수질측정망 구축방안을 제시하였다. 구축된 수질 측정망 구축시스템은 통계적 분석기법을 기반으로 만들었으며, 이용자의 사용 편의성을 고려하여 간단한 입력으로 측정망을 구축할 수 있는 체계로 구성하였다. 시스템에서는 시계열분석과 유사성 계산을 실시하여 덴드로그램으로 결과를 제시하며, 이용자가 최종 산점도 출력시스템에 원하는 군집의 개수를 입력하면 수질 특성 파악이 가능한 주성분 산점도가 출력되도록 하였고, 군집 내 관측지점의 중심점을 대표지점으로 선정하도록 되어있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 운영되고 있는 저수지 수질측정지점을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 그러나 기존 측정지점의 개수가 적어 통계분석 결과 적용에 한계가 있어 수질모델링을 통한 수질자료 증폭을 실시하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 다수의 측정지점을 대상으로 수질측정망 평가를 실시하였다. 본 논문에서는 용담댐, 밀양댐, 충주댐, 안동댐 및 남강댐을 대상으로 평가를 실시하였으며, 약간의 지점변동이 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

Metrics for Low-Light Image Quality Assessment

  • In this paper, it is confirmed that the metrics used to evaluate image quality can be applied to low-light images. Due to the nature of low-illumination images, factors related to light create various noise patterns, and the smaller the amount of light, the more severe the noise. Therefore, in situations where it is difficult to obtain a clean image without noise, the quality of a low-illuminance image from which noise has been removed is often judged by the human eye. In this paper, noise in low-illuminance images for which ground truth cannot be obtained is removed using Noise2Noise, and spatial resolution and radial resolution are evaluated using ISO 12233 charts and colorchecker as metrics such as MTF and SNR. It can be shown that the quality of the low-illuminance image, which has been evaluated mainly for qualitative evaluation, can also be evaluated quantitatively.

  • This paper evaluates the soundness of structural elements using Wavelet Packet Transform (WPT). WPT is applied to the response acceleration of a framed structure which is subjected to earthquake load to decompose the response acceleration, then the energy of each component is calculated. The first five largest components in energy magnitude among the decomposed components are selected as input to an ANN to identify the damage location and severity. Two nodes in output layer yield damaged element and damage severity respectively. This method successfully evaluates the amount of damage and its location in the structure.
