Results of this article show that negative excess returns are observed for non-conglomerate mergers and positive excess gains are exhibited for conglomerate mergers. This implies that conglomerate mergers are more effective than firm specialization in terms of merger effects.

  • Organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB) are discretionary behaviors of employees, which go beyond that which is required, and are known to be contributing factors of organizational performance. When a supply chain management(SCM) system is implemented, organizational knowledge concerning the global standards, process innovation and key performance indicators(KPI) is also spread out across different, disconnected silos, thus increasing the absorptive and innovative capacity of employees. Therefore, OCB may be an important antecedent to successful operation of supply chain. This paper examines the causal relationships among absorptive capacity of employees, organizational citizenship, SCM performance and intention to innovate in global manufacturing corporations in Korea. Empirical results from 122 survey responses indicate that the organizational citizenship affects the level of SCM performance and absorptive capacity, which, in turn, influences SCM performance. As expected, SCM performance has been found to affect intention to innovate, but absorptive capacity has no impact on intention to innovate. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are discussed.

  • In this paper, we analyzed audience satisfaction procedures in performing art, specifically in musical, in terms of Expectation Disconfirmation Theory. We analyzed one's expectations and outcomes over time; we first classified audience expectations and outcomes about environmental elements as 'the first expectation'/'the first outcome' and about watching situation & content itself as 'the second expectation'/'the second outcome', then analyzed by comparing those two. Through surveying and analyzing the result, this paper serves that the ultimate fact which affects on the final audience satisfaction is 'the second outcome', which is the outcome about watching situation & content itself. This paper also shows that audience expectation toward physical quality of environment affects to 'the second expectation', then 'the second expectation' affects to 'the second outcome', so then affects to the final satisfaction. However, 'the first outcome' doesn't affect to 'the second expectation'; in other words, the physical environment does not affect much to the audience final satisfaction. We expect that our study provides clues for venue management in performing arts.

It was confirmed that innovation has a positive effect on corporate performance and that data literacy partially mediates the relationship between innovation and corporate performance. Transformational leadership shows a moderating effect in the relationship between innovation and corporate performance, and transactional leadership showed no moderating effect. Laissez-faire leadership has a moderating effect in the relationship between innovation and data literacy. These results show that innovation is an effective means of improving the organization's management performance, and are expected to awaken the importance of laissez-faire leadership and contribute to the establishment of management strategies.

  • This research empirically explores the relationship between types of performance information use, decision making behaviors and performance of government organizations. We measured two types of using performance information, relevance of performance index, variety of performance information, and levels of manager intervention by surveying performance managers of each government ministry or agency and also measured performance by using performance reports. The results of fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis suggest that hard use and soft use have impact on performance by combining with characteristics of performance information and managers decision-making by intervening performance management processes.
