  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the collective psychological ownership (CPO) of the board of directors of cooperatives on organizational performance, and to find out the mediator effect of shared leadership between CPO and organizational performance. In this study, we collected a data set of the survey of 453 directors from 78 local consumer cooperatives of iCOOP Korea. The study found that the CPO of the board of directors of consumer cooperatives had a positive impact on the social performance and activity performance of the organization. More importantly, the mediator effect of shared leadership between CPO and performance was statistically significant. These results suggest that strengthening CPO on the board is necessary for the performance of co-operatives, and that shared leadership is an important medium for linking CPO to performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of team efficacy and perceived loafing on learning outcome in team-based project learning. For this purpose, questionnaire survey was conducted to 58 students who enrolled the adolescent welfare class in 2019 at H University. A hierarchical regression analysis was conducted for the effects of team efficacy and perceived loafing on learning outcomes and the interaction effect between two variables. Main results of this study were as follows. Team efficacy had a positive effect on learning outcomes. Second, perceived loafing did not have a statistically significant effect on learning outcomes. Third, the interaction effect of perceived loafing and team efficacy on learning outcomes was significant. In particular, the negative effect of perceived loafing on learning outcomes was reduced by team efficacy. Based on the research results, a plan to increase the learning outcome of team-based project learning was discussed.

  • This study examines the performance of program providers(PP) considering various factors. This study employs the panel regression models with the dataset from 2014 to 2019. This study analyzes how various market structural factors and behavioral factors have impact on the performance. The results show that the high proportion of retransmission fees to broadcasting revenue is negatively associated with total media revenue and operating income while advertising revenue is positively associated with these factors. The results imply PPs that have heavily depended on the fees have not showed a superior performance. Current PP markets are evaluated to have low average revenue per users and thus the size of retransmission fees cannot be enlarged. Under such market conditions, PPs focusing on raising advertising revenue show better performance. This study also suggests that PPs that own diverse channel assets have improved their performances.

  • There has been a stream of literature studying moderators of the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and firm performance, but there remains a lack of research on moderators with a strategic perspective. We examined the effect of organizational ambidexterity on a firm's long-term performance and the moderating effect of a firm's relative exploration and exploitation based on a sample of 8,916 firms. We found a positive relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance measured by Tobin's q. The results also suggest that a firm's relative exploration positively moderates the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance, whereas exploitation negatively moderates this relationship. We contribute to the current ambidexterity literature by integrating it with strategy literature. We found that the positive relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance is enlarged and long-lasting when a firm is a differentiator. In contrast, this positive relationship is lessened and short-lasting when a firm is a cost-leader.

  • Korea's self-support program has constituted one of the most important workfare policy for the past 25 years. However, many pointed out the lack of field perceptions in the performance indicators of self-support program, such as overemphasis on the economic performance and uniform application regardless of regional types. This research intends to derive policy implications to improve performance indicators of self-support program by analyzing field perceptions, utilizing ISA(Importance-Satisfaction Analysis) method. Analysis on the difference between importance and satisfaction shows that the procedure was perceived more important than the consequences. It also reveals that current indicators were not satisfactory enough to reflect field practices. Finally, ISA matrix classified indicators into keep, improve, policy reconsideration area, and obvious differences were found by regional type. These findings suggest the importance of field-orientation in performance indicators, and by which, can serve as an exploratory study for the improvement of performance indicators.

  • This study aims to determine whether ESG performance positively affects foreign ownership for listed firms that publish sustainability reports. Furthermore, we test whether the disclosure of environmental information in the sustainability report in accordance with the TCFD recommendations moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, there is a positive correlation between ESG performance in a given year and foreign ownership in the following year, i.e., the higher a firm's ESG performance, the higher its foreign ownership. Second, the presence of environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations positively moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership, i.e., environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations strengthens the positive relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. In conclusion, this study shows that foreign investors invest more in companies with better ESG performance, and the effect is stronger for companies that disclose environmental information in accordance with TCFD recommendations.

  • In recent times, there has been a shift towards student-centered higher education policies, leading to a growing interest among universities to improve students' learning outcomes. To aid in this endeavor, this study aims to provide guidance for University K to enhance their learning outcome management by comparing and analyzing their learning outcome indicators with those of other domestic and foreign universities. The study examined detailed measurement questions from major learning outcome measurement tools such as AHELO, NSSE, and CLA+. Upon comparison and analysis of University K's major learning outcome indicators with those of other universities, it was found that most of the indicators overlapped. However, some indicators such as student support/facilities for learning, instructor quality, and communication were absent from University K. Therefore, it is crucial to decide whether to add these indicators to the existing learning outcomes or to confirm them through other surveys. Moreover, even for the same indicator, some indicators with different measurement need to consider changing the measurement.
