Attract effect of mushroom flies with different wavelength of light emitting diode(LED) (파장별 LED 광이 버섯파리의 유인에 미치는 영향)

  • The attractions of Lycoriella ingenua to different LED light sources were investigated in the mushroom cultivations which were located in Yongin of Gyeonggi-do province and Buyeo of Chungcheongnam-do Province. The LED light sources which were used in the investigations were white, green, red, blue and orange. Numbers of Lycoriella ingenua to LED lights in Yongin and Buyeo were 132.9 and 3,272.5 to white LED source, 120.3 and 3,109.5 to green LED source, 105.5 and 1,910.1 to red LED source, 88.3 and 2,708.3 to blue LED source and 46.7 and 2,465.5 to orange LED source, respectively. The numbers of Lycoriella ingenua to LED light sources were 2.7~3.5 times higher than the ones of untreated.

  • LED는 화합물 반도체 특성을 이용해, 전기신호를 적외선 또는 빛으로 주고 받는 반도체의 일종으로 가정용 가전제품, 리모콘, 전광판, 표시기, 각종 자동화기기 등에 사용된다. LED는 최근 컴퓨터, 냉장고, 가로등, 주택용 일반 조명에 이르기까지 반도체산업을 뛰어넘을 차세대 산업군으로 주목받고 있다. LED 조명산업은 저탄소 녹색성장의 핵심축이고, 무(無)수은 친환경 아이템으로 포스트 교토의 기후협약, 저탄소사회 구현을 앞당기는 미래산업이다. 본 고에서는 LED 조명의 가치사슬 및 국내외 산업 구조를 분석하고 결론에서 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

Leaf Shape Index, Growth, and Phytochemicals in Two Leaf Lettuce Cultivars Grown under Monochromatic Light-emitting Diodes (단색 발광다이오드에서 자란 축면상추 두 품종의 엽형, 생장 및 기능성 물질)

  • As an artificial light source, light-emitting diode (LED) with a short wavelength range can be used in closed-type plant production systems. Among various wavelength ranges in visible light, individual light spectra induce distinguishing influences on plant growth and development. In this study, we determined the effects of monochromatic LEDs on leaf shape index, growth and the accumulation of phytochemicals in a red leaf lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. 'Sunmang') and a green leaf lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. 'Grand rapid TBR'). Lettuce seedlings grown under normal growing conditions ($20^{\circ}C$, fluorescent lamp + high pressure sodium lamp, $130{\pm}5{\mu}mmol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$, 12 hours photoperiod) for 18 days were transferred into incubators at $20^{\circ}C$ equipped with various monochromatic LEDs (blue LED, 456 nm; green LED, 518 nm; red LED, 654 nm; white LED, 456 nm + 558 nm) under the same light intensity and photoperiod ($130{\pm}7{\mu}mmol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}s^{-1}$, 12 hours photoperiod). Leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, fresh and dry weights of shoots and roots, shoot/root ratio, SPAD value, total phenolic concentration, antioxidant capacity, and the expression of a key gene involved in the biosynthesis of phenolic compounds, phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL), were measured at 9 and 23 days after transplanting. The leaf shape indexes of both lettuce cultivars subjected to blue or white LEDs were similar with those of control during whole growth stage. However, red and green LEDs induced significantly higher leaf shape index than the other treatments. The green LED had a negative impact on the lettuce growth. Most of growth characteristics such as fresh and dry weights of shoots and leaf area were the highest in both cultivars subjected to red LED treatment. In case of red leaf lettuce plants, shoot fresh weight under red LED was 3.8 times higher than that under green LED at 23 days after transplanting. In contrast, the accumulation of chlorophyll, phenolics including antioxidants in lettuce plants showed an opposite trend compared with growth. SPAD value, total phenolic concentration, and antioxidant capacity of lettuce grown under blue LED were significantly higher than those under other LED treatments. In addition, PAL gene was remarkably activated by blue LED at 9 days after transplanting. Thus, this study suggested that the light quality using LEDs is a crucial factor for morphology, growth, and phytochemicals of two lettuce cultivars.

  • 세계 각국은 자국의 안정적인 에너지 공급과 저탄소 녹색성장을 위해 장 단기적인 정책을 다양하게 펼치고 있다. 그 중 고효율, 친환경 광원인 LED는 국가의 에너지 정책 추진의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. LED 조명은 기존 백열등 형광등 할로겐을 대체 할뿐만 아니라 휴대전화, 자동차, BLU(Back Light Unit) 등 다양한 분야에 적용할 수 있기 때문에 시장잠재력이 크다. 본고에서는 미국, 유럽, 중국, 일본의 LED 조명산업 관련 정책을 살펴 보고 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

Food Functional Properties of Pleurotus eryngii Cultivated with Different Wavelength of LED Lights (LED광의 파장을 달리하여 재배한 새송이버섯의 식품기능적 특성)

  • The food functional properties of Pleurotus eryngii cultivated with different wavelengths of light-emitting diode (LED) light were analyzed in this study. The levels of total soluble solids of Pleurotus eryngii increased with all the LED lights, except mixed LED light ($B^*R$, $B^*G$ and $R^*G$). Thirty one kinds of components were detected by analyzing the free amino acids. The total free amino acid contents had a slightly higher tendency in the control group, but the ratios of eight essential amino acids among the total amino acids of Pleurotus eryngii cultivated under all the LED lights, including the blue light (blue, $B^*R$, $B^*G$ and $B^*R^*G^*U$) and the green light, were higher than that in the control group. K was the highest-content of mineral, and Mn was the lowest-content. The Ca content increased through cultivation under all the LED lights, except the blue light, but the Fe content (under the green and $B^*R$ lights), K content (under the red and UV-A lights) and Mg content (under the $R^*G$, UV-A and red lights) increased under the exclusive LED light. The total phenolic compounds increased by cultivation under all the LED lights, except the UV-A and mixed lights ($R^*G$ and $B^*R^*G^*U$). The DPPH radical scavenging activity was also improved by all the LED lights, except the mixed light ($R^*G$).

  • To evaluate four different light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as potential attractants for Tyrophagus putrescentiae adults, attractiveness of blue (470 nm), green (520 nm), yellow (590 nm), and red (625 nm) LEDs were investigated at 20, 40, and 60 lx luminance intensity in LED-equipped Y-maze chamber and compared with the response to black light bulb (BLB), which is used in commercial traps. The BLB, the blue LED, the green LED, the yellow LED, and the red LED did not show the attractive to T. putrescentiae adults. These results suggested that four LEDs tested could not be used for environment-friendly control of T. putrescentiae adults.

  • 백색 LED를 실현하는 방법의 하나로 UV LED와 적, 녹, 청의 3색 형광체를 이용하는 방법이 주목받고 있다. 이것은 연색성과 색온도 제어 특성이 뛰어나다. 그러나 기존의 형광체는 단파장, 약 250nm 전후, 에서 여기되는 특성을 갖고 있기 때문에 near UV(nUV), 약 380-410nm, 의 LED에 응용하기에는 발광특성에 문제점을 갖고 있다. 본 연구에서는 nUV 여기가 가능한 strontium aluminate를 flux를 이용한 고상반응법으로 합성하고 발광 특성을 분석하였다. SrO와 A1$_2$ $O_3$의 조합비와 반응조건에 따라서 SrA1$_2$ $O_4$ 흑은 Sr$_4$Al$_{14}$ $O_{25}$ 가 합성되었고, 이들은 도핑과 함께 각각 약 520nm에서의 녹색발광과 약 480nm에서의 청녹색 발광 특성을 보이고 있었다. 도펀트로는 Eu, Dy, Ce, Pr 등이 단독 혹은 혼합되어 첨가되었고, 종류와 양에 따라서 발광 파장의 이동이 관찰 되었고, 강도도 이것에 크게 의존하고 있었다. 또한 발광강도는 여기 파장에도 의존하고 있었으며, 약 350-390nm의 nUV에서 가장 높은 발광강도가 관찰되었다.다.

Effects of Different Light Wavelengths on the Growth of Olive Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) (빛의 파장이 넙치 Paralichthys olivaceus의 성장에 미치는 영향)

  • To investigate the effects of light on growth in fish, olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) were reared under four kinds of monochromatic light-emitting diodes (LEDs) at violet (400 nm), blue (465 nm), green (508 nm), and red (635 nm) wavelengths, along with a white fluorescent lamp as control. The rearing experiments were carried out with 15 fish per tank under different wavelength illumination at the same intensity. After rearing the fish under a 12 hr:12 hr light:dark photoperiod for 60 days, percentage increases in weight gain of $269.92{\pm}13.02$, $363.21{\pm}3.74$, $433.22{\pm}4.83$, $290.17{\pm}11.83$, and $340.74{\pm}26.58%$ and increases in specific growth rates (SGR) of $2.18{\pm}0.06$, $2.56{\pm}0.07$, $2.79{\pm}0.01$, $2.27{\pm}0.05$, and $2.47{\pm}0.10$ were observed in fish grown under the illumination of red, blue, green, and violet LEDs and the white fluorescent light, respectively. The results show faster growth in fish reared under green LEDs, but slower growth in those reared under red light. Differences in most blood parameters were minor, aside from an increased level of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase in the fish grown under red LED illumination. Histological analysis of the retina showed few changes in the ratio of photoreceptor layer thickness to total retina thickness in fish reared under the green LEDs compared to those in other illumination groups. These results indicate that green LED light can foster increased growth in olive flounder with no distinct harmful effects on their light-sensitive photoreceptor layers.

Luminescent Properties of Four-Band White Light Emitting Diodes (사파장 백색 발광 다이오드의 발광 특성)

  • $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, and ZnCdS:Ag,Cl phosphors were chosen to produce blue, green, and red emissions, respectively, under excitation from a violet light emitting diode (LED). A four-band white LED was obtained by a combination of nonabsorbed violet emission from a violet LED and blue, green, and red emissions from $BaMg_2Al_16O_27:Eu,\SrGa_2S_4:Eu$, and ZnCdS:Ag,Cl phosphors. The luminescent properties of the four-band white LED were also discussed.

  • 작년 9월 15일, 정전대란이 일어났다. 우리나라도 이제 전력 수요가 많아짐에 따라 블랙아웃에 절대 안심할 수 없는 지경에 이르렀다. 최근 전력수급과 에너지 효율성 등에 대한 관심이 커지고 있는 시점에 열린 2012 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 '제4의 에너지'로 일컬어지는 신재생과 '제5의 에너지'인 에너지절약을 강조하는 행사로 다양한 에너지 문제에 대한 다양한 해법을 제시하였다. 지난 10월 9일부터 12일까지 코엑스에서 열린 '2012 대한민국 에너지대전'에서 대체에너지 생산과 에너지절약에 대한 지혜를 발견할 수 있었다. 녹색에너지대전, 신재생에너지대전, 녹색일자리엑스포 등 3가지 행사를 한 자리에서 볼 수 있었으며 '에너지절약시설자금 투자설명회'가 개최 돼 녹색에너지와 에너지절약을 궁금해 하는 일반인들과 에너지절약기업의 큰 관심을 끌었다. '2012년 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'은 에너지, 기후, 신재생 분야의 최신 제품, 기술, 정보 등 녹색 교류의 장이자, 동북아대표 기술교류 허브(Hub)로써 에너지효율, 기후변화-신재생에너지등 미래 에너지의 새로운 패러다임을 제시한 행사로 평가된다. 또한 에너지절약 차원으로는 에너지효율 향상을 주도하는 제품 및 기술 제안하여 보일러, 고효율조명, LED, 단열재, 하이브리드 자동차, 고효율가전기기, 전력수요관리설비 등 에너지효율 향상 제품이 전시되었고 기후변화대응과 녹색정책 및 기술 발표가 이어져 에너지 관련 공공기관, 협회 등 정책, 사업, 기술동향 등(CDM프로젝트, 탄소배출권 거래체, 탄소금융 사업 등)이 소개되었다.
