지난해 11월 영산강에서 처 삽을 뜬 후 4대강에서는 지금 보설치를 위한 기초공사가 분주히 진행되고 있다. 4대강 살리기는 정부에서 추진중인 녹색뉴딜정책의 핵심 사업으로, 전지구적 과제인 기후변화에 대응하고 친환경적 경제성장을 표방하는 '저탄소 녹색성장'을 위한 정부의 야심찬 프로젝트이다. 총 사업비가 20조 원이 넘은 초대형 프로젝트를 통해 우리나라 국토를 재창조하고 나아가 물관리 선진국으로의 도약을 계획하고 있다.

21세기의 이슈 중 가장 주목받고 있는 것은 '녹색성장'입니다. 정부 역시 '저탄소 녹생성장'을 향후 60년 비전으로 제시하여 에너지 위기와 경제위기를 동시에 타개해 나가겠다고 선포하였습니다. 이에 따라 환경부에서는 저탄소 녹색성장의 효율적 추진을 위해 지자체 기후변화대응 강화, 탄소포인트제 실시, 폐기물 에너지 자원화, 저탄소형 소비 생산 문화 확산, 온실가스감축 실천프로그램, 저탄소 자동차 보급 확대 등 10대 중점과제를 선정하여 단계별로 추진 중입니다. 지금부터는 고유가 시대에 저렴한 연료비로 관심을 바도 있는 LPG차량(완성차, 엔진개조차량 포함)의 연비 특성에 대해 살펴보겠습니다.

1990년대 초, 미국의 봉쇄정책과 구 소련의 붕괴로 당장 먹고살기도 힘들었던 쿠바. 하지만 쿠바인들은 좌절하지 않고 직접 먹을거리를 해결하기 위해 농기구를 들었다. 너도나도 밭을 일구고, 친환경 농업에 사활을 걸었다. 그렇게 10여 년이 지난 뒤 나락에 빠졌던 쿠바에 푸른 농업혁명이 일어났다. '유기농 강국'으로 세계의 주목을 받게 된 것이다. 특히, 쿠바의 수도 하바나(Havana)는 유기농 도시농업의 중심지다. 하바나 시민들은 발코니와 집 텃밭, 인근 공터 등에 곡류와 채소를 키운다. 유기농 농산물 섭취를 통해 건강도 지켜나가고 있다. 곤궁했던 경제위기를 건강한 녹색혁명으로 뒤바꾼 것이다.

The purpose of this current paper was to investigate into the trends and effects of green marketing in India and China with relations to ethnicity and cross cultural aspects. These two countries are fast developing and looks promising in terms of economic power but lack the green marketing consciousness compared to other well developed countries. Many measures are being taken by various industries for the promotion of green awareness in these countries. The two countries are fast developing in the area of green marketing. Green marketing should improve its methods utilizing the cultural differences that is evident from previous research. In the near future, more active green marketing targeting and informing consumers of environmental benefits will be needed by taking ethnicity into consideration for further heightening of overall environmental awareness and initiative.

Greenhouse gas emission policy in Korea and elsewhere is based on emissions projections, a key element of which is the projected path of structural change from high productivity growth to low productivity growth economic sectors given sector specific labor productivity growth, emissions abatement across sectors and population growth. Thus, it is important to model the source of the structural change to forecast emissions correctly. Using data for the Korean economy, this study constructs and quantitatively evaluates a model of structural change and green growth to generate policy implications for Korea and the international greenhouse gas debate.

One consequence of the new economic imperative of developing an environment-friendly and sustainable economy has been the growing importance of green management as a corporate management strategy. In Korea, the government has put forth a green growth vision, and followed suit with policy measures reflecting this vision. Companies, in their turn, have announced various new management plans reflecting this green vision. But, thus far, no tangible progress has been made. This is mainly due to the lack of concreteness, both in the government's policy and green management plans by companies. The government's green IT vision, for instance, was formulated without an accurate assessment of the current level of maturity in terms of green IT in Korea. This study presents a model for assessing the level of green IT maturity, developed by taking into consideration the informatization and regulatory environments of Korean firms. We use this model to evaluate a sample of Korean firms selected as representatives of their respective industry sectors to assess the overall level of green IT maturity among Korean companies. Improvement strategies, based on the results of assessment, are presented as well.

This study aims to analyse the current conditions of transport demand and its environmental problems in Gwangyang Port(GP), and to suggest crucial directions for Gwangyang Green Port(GGP) in Korea. This study consists of three main sections: concept of green growth and green port; the analysis of transport demand and environment situations in GP; policy directions for GGP. This study is mainly conducted by a literature review of related papers, an analysis of secondary data & papers, and interviews with port experts. This study presents important policy directions for successfully managing GGP in Korea as follows: modal shifts plan for green transport and logistics system in GP; energy-saving techniques in GP's berth operation; the application of environmentally friendly port operation methods in GP; construction of GP waterfront facilities; environmentally friendly disposal of maritime waste matters; establishment and implementation of port environment master plan. This study will make a big contribution to the building of green port policy and the providing of professional informations to government officials.

The purpose of this research is to suggest economic feasibility of cultivating Acer Mono by using profitability analysis to forest owners. To achieve this research objective, forest owner household survey with intensive cultivating has been conducted about a sap production on its age of tree. And input costs and sap production costs are calculated with silvicultural system from plant to regeneration cutting. Total income is the sum of its sap sales and thinning and regeneration cutting. The method of profitability analysis was used on the NPV(Net Present Value) and IRR(internal rate of return). Finally, when 3% discount rate is applied, NPV is about 59,436 thousand won and IRR value is 9.22% at this point. This result, therefore, proves that cultivating Acer Mono is economical feasibility to forest owners.

The success of a target of 'low-carbon green growth' depends on whether installing energy-saving capital would result in an increase in industry's productivity growth. Defining total factor productivity from a dual cost function, this paper estimates the contribution of energy efficiency investment to productivity growth by analyzing the sources of growth of productivity index for the primary metal industries. Empirical results show that, on average, energy efficiency investment increased the annual rate of productivity growth by 1.16 percentage points over th period 1982~2006. In addition, The scale effect positively affected the contribution of energy efficiency investment on productivity growth.
