  • This research presents a modeling and a manufacturing method of screw flow meter. This paper introduces the efficient design and manufacturing method of screw type flow meter using reverse engineering and test technology. The methods introduced this paper utilize the reverse engineering that is increasing accuracy of modeling and manufacturing of reverse model. And then it can be used in performance test with hydraulic test equipment. Hence this can be used in the basic document for development of the quite accurate flowmeter.

실리콘 산화막에 대한 Ta-Mo 합금 게이트의 열적 안정성 (Thermal Stability of Ta-Mo Alloy Film on Silicon Dioxide)

  • The interface stability of Ta-Mo alloy film on SiO$_2$ was investigated. Ta-Mo alloy films were formed by co-sputtering method, and the alloy composition was varied by controlling Ta and Mo sputtering power, When the atomic composition of Ta was about 91%, the measured work function was 4.24 eV that is suitable for NMOS gate. To identify interface stability between Ta-Mo alloy film and SiO$_2$, C-V and XRD measurements were performed on the samples annealed with rapid thermal processor between $600^{\circ}C$ and 90$0^{\circ}C$. Even after 90$0^{\circ}C$ rapid thermal annealing, excellent interface stability and electrical properties were observed. Also, thermodynamic analysis was studied to compare with experimental results.

레이저용접부의 파괴에 미치는 잔류응력의 영향 (The Effect of residual stress on fracture behavior in the laser weldment)

  • The integrity of laser welded structures is decided in fracture strength and fatigue strength. This study made an effort to understand the fracture behavior considering residual stress. Experiments are conducted and analyses are performed to explore the influence of residual stress on fracture behavior of bead-on laser welded compact specimen. Fracture experiments are performed using ASTM 1820. The performed analyses included thermo-elasto-plastic analyses for residual stress and subsequent J-integral calculation. A modified J integral is calculated in the presence of residual stresses. The J-integral is path-independent for combination of residual stress field and stress due to mechanical loading. The results indicates that the tensile residual stress near crack front bring the low fracture load while the compressive residual stress bring the high fracture load compared to no residual stress specimen. These results quantitatively understand the influence of residual stress on fracture behavior.

  • Liposarcoma is a malignant tumor that occurs in adipocytes, accounting for 5% of all sarcomas. Generally, it has no symptoms and it occurs in any parts of the body. There are various types of liposarcoma. Of these, 40-45% are known as highly differentiated liposarcoma, and highly differentiated liposarcoma is also referred to as atypical lipomatous tumor. We report a case of an atypical lipomatous tumor on the left neck.
