The purpose of this study is to explore various factors during the career development period affecting the formation of the perspective on work of young workers after they graduated from high school, and to analyze the influence of each factor. The panel data of the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2005 was used for the study. Specifically, the data on the 303 employees in the 7th year(2011) of their employment was used. First, perspective of young workers on work was affected by social self (self-awareness-related variables), educational background of their father(family background-related variables), and intrinsic and extrinsic learning motivation(learning motivation-related variables) formed during the career development period. However, extrinsic learning motivation had a passive and negative effect on motivation and giving value to work. Second, the variables related to self-awareness in the career development period and the variables related to the family background were found to have a causal relationship with the formation of young workers' perspective on work. This study is significant in that the learning motives formed during the career development period are found to be very meaningful and important variables for the formation of young workers' perspective on work.

The introduction of multimedia 119-notification service utilizing smart devices causes firefighters to be more exposed to emotional labor. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of increased emotional labor of firemen on job satisfaction. As a result, the higher the emotional labor of firefighters is, the higher job stress (${\beta}=0.166$, p=0.000) and social support(${\beta}=0.540$, p=0.000) are. But job satisfaction tends to be lower(${\beta}=-0.136$, p=0.000). As they play an important role to protect the safety and property of citizens. their job satisfaction becomes the driving force of their duty. Therefore, we think that some systematic and substantial prevention curriculum to manage their emotional labor is required.

This is a descriptive study that attempts to provide basic information for easing job strain and enhancing the efficiency of cosmetology industry workers by examining the effects that the emotional labor and stress-coping of cosmetology workers have on their job strain. As a result of a multiple regression analysis of the factors affecting the subjects job strain, their surface acting and problem-focused coping, unconcern coping, social support were seen as factors that accounted for 30% of their job strain. Of the emotional labor of the subjects, the external behaviors displayed positive correlations with job strain; and they showed negative correlations with problem-focused coping and social support. Concerning emotional labor, sincere behavior was found to have positive correlations with problem-focused coping, hoping, social support, positive coping and strain relieving. Based on the results of this study, it is deemed that, along with interventions for emotional labor, education and intervention programs for a healthy and positive stress coping are needed in regards to interventions for cosmetology professionals.

This study was carried out to provide basic data for establishment of Natural Ecology Center through vegetation research in Nodong valley, Pyungchanggun of Kangwondo. The vascular plants consisted of total 178 taxa such as 56 families, 121 genera, 152 species, 24 varieties and two forms. In the study area, we found some plants designated as protect plants by the Ministry of Environment such as Dryopteris crassirhizoma and Rodgersia podophylla that is a vulnerable species and Iris odaesanensis that is an endemic species. Communities by characteristic in species composition of Nodong valley forest were classified into Quercus mongolica - Acer pseudosieboldianum community as a natural forest community and Larix leptolepis and Pinus koraiensis community as artificial forest. The Quercus mongolica-Acer pseudosieboldianum community was further classified as Pinus densiflora subcommunity and Acer mono subcommunity. A protection program will be needed for Iris odaesanensis classified as an endemic species to make a Natural Ecology Center.

This paper examines the effects of COVID-19 on the working hours and wages by employment types of wage workers. Using the Economically Active Population Survey-Supplementary Survey by Employment Types(2017-2020), I found that due to COVID-19, non-regular workers reduced their working hours more than regular workers, shrinking their opportunities to generate wage income. During the same period, the working hours and wage gap between new regular and non-regular workers widened, this was largely in part-time and short-term workers. As the working conditions change based on the initial level, these results show that efforts to improve their(new and short term workers) working conditions can contribute to mitigating labor market inequality.

The Korean system of labor adjudication on the cases of unfair dismissal and unfair labor practices has been criticized by labor and management in spite of the strong point that the Labor Relations Commission processes the cases quickly. This paper empirically investigates the effectiveness of labor adjudication dealt by the Labor Relations Commission with economic approach. It shows that the grievences of labor and management on the existing labor adjudication system have come from the inadequate processes of labor adjudication rather than the favorable or unfavorable ruling. It also shows that a major deterrent to make an effective labor adjudication system has been not the problems of the selfish attitude and expectation of labor and management but the improper attitude and quality of the member and staff of the Labor Relations Commission.

IMF이후 건설 물량은 감소하고 있는 경향이나 재해율은 그다지 감소하지 않고 있고 여전히 중대재해는 계속 발생하고 있는 추세이며, 건설업체에서는 안전관리에 대한 비용을 더욱 아끼려 하고 있어 비용절감을 위해 재해예방을 위한 안전시설 비용이나 안전활동 비용을 투자하지 않고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 노동부에서 현재 시행하고 있는 건설현상 페트롤점검의 실태를 조사ㆍ분석하여 문제점을 도출하고 효율적 운영방안을 제시하는 것으로 하였다. 현행 페트롤점검의 실태조사를 위하여 페트롤점검의 관계담당자인 전국의 노동부 지방노동관서 근로감독관, 한국산업안전의 각 지역본부 및 지도원 기술직원, 페트롤점검 대상 건설현장 관계자에게 각각 설문조사지를 배부하여 실태를 조사하고 분석하였으며, 또한 노동부의 최근년도인 1999년, 2000년도의 재해발생통계 및 페트롤점검 실적자료, 대한건설협회의 최근 년도별 건설공사 수주금액, 공사규모별 현황 및 외곽의 건설현장 페트롤점검사례를 수집하고 분석하였다. 이러한 실태조사 등 수집된 자료분석 및 각종 참고문헌 연구를 통하여 4가지 문제점을 도출하였으며 각 도출된 문제점에 대하여 효율적인 개선대책을 제시하였다.

멸치초망어업의 조업방식은 챗대 2개, 콧대 1개를 사용하여 조업선의 우현에서 그물을 수중 전개시키며, 양망은 주기관에 연결된 사이드 드럼 2개를 사용하여 큰 챗대와 작은 챗대를 반 기계적으로 들어올리고, 콧대와 그물은 순수 인력으로 들어올린다. 이와 같은 작업은 야간에 수 차례 반복되기 때문에 많은 노동력과 조업인원을 필요로 하는 노동집약형 구조를 가지고 있다. (중략)
