Ad hoc network Security Mechanism for Secure Data Sharing in Mobile Social Network (모바일 소셜 네트워크에서 안전한 데이터 공유를 위한 애드혹 네트워크 보안 메커니즘)

  • 최근 빠르게 확산되고 있는 소셜 네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service)는 사용자의 인맥을 관리하며 새로운 인맥을 형성하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또한 사용자들이 자신의 관심사에 관한 지식이나 정보를 공개함으로써 정보의 효율성을 높이고 다른 사용자들에게 정보를 전파한다. 하지만 현재의 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 새로운 인맥을 형성하는 것보다 실제 사회에서의 인맥을 가상의 공간에서도 유지하고 관리하여 실제로 만나지 않더라도 관계를 유지할 수 있도록 하는 용도로 사용되어 소셜 네트워크의 목표를 달성하지 못하고 있다. 하지만 특정한 공간의 동일한 관심사를 가진 사람들 간의 제한적 정보 공유는 소셜 네트워의 단점을 보안하고 궁극적 목표를 달성할 수 있다. 또한 특정 관심사를 기반으로 그룹을 생성함으로써 정보의 신뢰도를 높이며 새로운 인맥을 형성에도 효과적 일 것이다. 하지만 이러한 네트워크는 모바일 환경의 특징으로 인해 빠르게 변화할 수 있으며 위치를 기반으로 특정 공간의 다른 사용자들과 통신함으로 완전히 새로운 인맥을 형성하게 된다. 그러므로 안전하게 신뢰관계를 구축하기위해 사용자의 평판 관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 소셜 네트워크에서 동일한 관심사를 가진 폐쇄적 정보공유에서의 악의적 노드의 고립을 위한 평판 메커니즘을 제안한다.

  • Ubiquitous computing, a new type of network environment has been generating much interest recently and has been actively studied. In ubiquitous computing, the sensor network which consists of low electric power ad-hoc network-based sensors and sensor nodes, is particularly the most important factor The sensor network serves as the mediator between ubiquitous computing and the actual environment. Related studies are focused on network . management through lightweight hardware using RFID. However, to apply these to actual environment, more practical scenarios as well as more secured studies equipped with secures and efficiency features are needed. Therefore, this study aims to build a wireless network based on PTD for multi users, which provides the largest utility in individual networks, and propose an appropriate management method. The proposed method is designed to enhance security and efficiency related to various services required in wireless networks, based on the reliable peripheral devices for users or pm. using pm, which has been applied to electronic commerce transactions in existing papers, this study also proposed an appropriate management method that is suitable for a dynamic environment and setting a temporary group to provide various services.

Real-Time Bandwidth Management Service for Effective Multiple Isochronous Streaming Transmission in IEEE1394 based Home Network (IEEE1394 기반 홈네트워크에서 효율적인 다중 등시성 스트리밍 전송을 위한 실시간 대역폭 관리 서비스)

  • In order to support multiple multimedia streaming services in home networks, many critical issues must be considered. In addition, handling the shortage of network bandwidth is one of the most significant and complicated issues. In this paper, real-time bandwidth management service is suggested as a solution to the problem regarding the IEEE1394-based home network. In order to handle the shortage of network bandwidth and to enhance the bus utilization rate, the proposed service combines two methods. First, the bus bandwidth management function determines the state of the network bandwidth and restores the residual bandwidth, which is excessively occupied by a streaming service, to the available free bandwidth. Second, the Isochronous Streaming (IS) Scheduler manages all streaming services according to priority. In order to test the proposed service, we implemented a prototype steaming management middleware and evaluated it by using the IEEE1394 network test-bed.

  • Recently, various social network services have been grown. Among them, personal relationships based social network services such as Facebook and Twitter make a remarkable growth of industry. In such services, users' profiles are very important for establishing the relationship between two users. However some information in a user's profile causes the leakage of the user's privacy, and thus we have to deal with the information in the profile. Especially, we have to treat contact information, such as the phone number and the e-mail address, very carefully since an adversary can use the information to violate the user's privacy in real life. In this paper, we propose two profile management systems that can enhance the privacy of users in social network services. We compare our systems with existing profile management techniques in well-known social network services such as Facebook and Twitter, and show that our systems provide enhanced privacy.

  • This paper presents a real-time integrated traffic management (RITM) scheme that can effectively manage variable bit rate (VBR) and available bit rate (ABR) traffics having unpredictable characteristics in asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) networks. An unique feature of this scheme is that it has a special ATM cell control block which makes it possible to monitor bursty traffics in real-time so that the delay incurred to measure cell arrival rate is minimized. Additionally, the proposed scheme intends to dynamically reassign the leftover network resources to VBR/ABR connections without any deterioration in quality of service (QoS) of the existing connections. The RITM scheme has been verified to reliably monitor incoming traffics and to efficiently manage network resources by computer simulations. The capability of managing the incoming ATM traffics in real-time helps determine an optimal acceptable number of user connections for a given network condition. We can use this value as a threshold to protect the network from being congested and to find out a cost-effective buffer design method.

  • In the current bandwidth mechanism, ISPs provide guaranteed internet bandwidth within itself domains. Also transmission of data through the network can cause congestion. An inevitable consequence is partly responsible for the difficulties to ISPs and customers. In economic views, multiple demands for a scarce resource are mediated through a bandwidth market. Using the auction-based admission algorithm In price congestion, I propose a different pricing scheme for statistically guaranteed QoS.

  • 유비쿼터스 사회가 도래함에 따라 유비쿼터스 기술을 도시에 적용한 u-City가 개발되고 있다. u-City는 다양한 정보화 기기들이 존재하며 정보화 기기 사이를 연결하는 다양한 네트워크 기술이 상존한다. u-City의 핵심 요소인 u-City 통합운영센터는 u-City 내의 모든 서비스를 처리하도록 설계되었으며, 도시를 통제 관리하는 중요한 업무를 수행한다. 이 중에서 보안관리 업무는 시스템에서 수집, 가공, 산출하는 데이터 및 정보의 보안유지를 위해 중요한 부분이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 u-City 통합운영센터의 보안유지를 위한 기술적, 물리적, 관리적인 측면에서 보안관리 대책을 제시하였다.

  • With the radical improvement of wire and wireless communication technologies, home network which interconnects various home appliances is approaching ripening stage. Digitalization of the home environment will break down the boundaries of information, communications and broadcasting, and enable us to realize many breakthroughs on the home front and connect to our home. In order to enable users to access securely to their home network, we first construct secure home network model which can authorize users using their permission policy. In this paper, we examine various security technique used in home network and propose home network security scheme which can service constantly.

  • Recent heterogeneous network management researches on information security, however, deal only with simple management using PKI and could not sufficiently address the different kinds of security problems that could arise in a heterogeneous network. Thus, various security requirements should first be satisfied and a security management protocol should first be developed to achieve a secure heterogeneous network. Hence, in this paper, various secure and effective heterogeneous network management that address security issues, which were merely a consideration in existing studies, are proposed. The proposed scheme for the protection of the user privacy is the central object and static middle objects of the process used to mutual authentication, also if communication between users is required 1-out-2 oblivious transfer to communicate by using secret communication, as well as the effectiveness and security conscious approach. Specially The proposed scheme is designed to enhance security and efficiency related to various services required in heterogeneous network, based on the reliable peripheral devices for TTP. Using Mobile device, which has been applied to electronic commerce transactions in existing schemes, this study also proposed an appropriate management scheme that is suitable for a dynamic environment and setting a temporary group to provide various services.

  • 본 논문에서는 모듈 기반 퍼스널 로봇 네트워크에서 실시간 서비스를 보장하기 위한 구조에 대하여 기술하였다. 모듈 기반 퍼스널 로봇 네트워크에서는 각기 다른 특징을 가지고 있는 이종의 네트워크 인터페이스를 사용한다. 이런한 환경에서 퍼스널 로봇 제어 메시지의 실시간 전송을 보장하기 위해 각 네트워크 인터페이스의 특징을 고려해 리소스 등을 관리하여 동적으로 할당하는 기능을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 구조에 대하여 제안하였다.
