지하철 역사 승강장 화재발생시 열/연기 거동 분석을 위한 실험 및 수치 연구(I) - 실험적 접근 - (Experimental and Numerical Studies on Heat/Smoke Behavior due to a Fire on Underground Subway Platform (I) - Experimental Approach -)

  • 역사에서 발생된 화재의 영향을 평가하기 위하여 수치해석을 수행하는데 중요한 입력자료 중에 하나인 유속경계조건을 실험적으로 계측하였다. 실험은 지하 승강장의 환기시스템의 운전 모드(일반 냉방조건과 화재발생시 비상조건)에 대하여 수행되었는데, 운전 모드별로 승강장의 여러 위치에서 유속을 측정하였으며, 승강장의 급배기구의 배연용량 및 급기량을 급배기구에서 직접 측정하였다. 또한 화재영향을 해석하기 위한 수치해석 프로그램을 이용하여 평상시 운전모드의 실험값을 기반으로 화재가 발생하지 않은 경우의 유동장 해석을 수행하여 그 결과와 계측 값을 비교하였다.

동시냉난방 히트펌프의 냉매 충전량과 운전모드 변화에 따른 성능특성에 관한 연구 (The Performance of a Simultaneous Heat and Cooling Heat Pump at Various Charging Conditions)

  • The cooling load in winter is significant in many commercial buildings and hotels because of the usage of office equipments and the high efficiency of wall insulation. The development of a multi-heat pump that can cover heating and cooling simultaneously for each indoor unit is required. In this study, the performance of a multi-heat pump with 3-piping system was investigated as a function of refrigerant charge and its performance was analyzed in cooling mode, heating mode, and heat recovery mode. COP in the heating or cooling mode showed little dependence on refrigerant charge at overcharge conditions, while those were strongly dependent on refrigerant charge at undercharge conditions and outdoor inlet temperature. In the heat recovery mode, the performance of the system was very sensitive to charge amount at all conditions. Optimum charge amount in the heat recovery mode was 14% lower than that in the cooling mode at the standard condition because the refrigerant only passed the indoor units. It is required to store the excessive refrigerant charge in a storage tank to optimize the system performance at operating modes.

  • Energy foundations and other thermo-active ground structure, energy wells, energy slab, and pavement heating and cooling represent an innovative technology that contributes to environmental protection and provides substantial long-term cost savings and minimized maintenance. This paper focuses on earth-contact concrete elements that are already required for structural reasons, but which simultaneously work as heat exchangers. Pipes, energy slabs, filled with a heat carrier fluid are installed under conventional structural elements, forming the primary circuit of a geothermal energy system. The natural ground temperature is used as a heat source in winter and heat sink in summer season. The system represented very high heating and cooling performance due to the stability of EWT from energy slab. Maximum heat pump unit COP and system COP were 4.9 and 4.3.

  • The cooling load in winter is significant in buildings and hotels because of the usage of office equipments and the improved wall insulation. Hence, a multi~heat pump is required to cover heating and cooling simultaneously for each indoor unit. In this study, the operating characteristics and performance of a simultaneous heating and cooling heat pump in the cooling-main operating mode were investigated experimentally. The system adopted a variable speed compressor using R410A with four indoor units and one outdoor unit. In the cooling-main mode, the heating capacity decreased due to reduction of flow rate to the indoor unit under heating mode operation. The EEV opening was adjusted to increase flow rate to the indoor unit under heating mode operation. The total capacity and COP in the cooling-main mode increased by 20.5% and 29.2%, respectively, compared with those in the cooling-only mode.

수직밀폐형 지중 열교환기 형태에 따른 열효율 평가 (Evaluation of Heat Exchange Rate of Different Types of Ground Heat Exchangers)

  • 본 논문에서는 일반 수직밀폐형에서의 U, W, 2U 그리고 코일 타입의 지중 열교환기 형태별 열효율을 평가하기 위한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 매립지 지반으로 이루어진 인천국제공항 제2여객 터미널이 건설될 부지에 수직밀폐형 지중 열교환기가 설치되었다. 우선 U, W 그리고 2U 형태의 지중 열교환기를 이용한 현장 열응답 실험을 수행하여 지반의 열전도도를 도출한 후 U, W, 2U 그리고 코일형 지중 열교환기를 이용하여 100시간 연속 운전과 5일 동안의 부분 운용 모드로 현장 열성능 실험을 수행하였다. 냉방 가동 조건 하에서 코일형 지중 열교환기 이용시 나머지 타입의 열교환기들보다 약 2배 정도 열교환율이 상승되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 부분 운전 모드시 연속 운전 모드보다 30~40% 열교환율이 상승되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The present study has been conducted to simulate dynamics of a gas engine-driven heat pump(GHP) for design of control algorithm. The dynamic modeling of a GHP was based on conservation laws of mass and energy. For automatic control of refrigerant pressures, actuators such as engine speed, outdoor fan, coolant three-way valves and liquid injection valve were PI or P controlled. The simulation results showed physical behavior that is realistic enough to apply for control algorithm design.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the cooling performance of ground source multi-heat pump systems with a vertical single U-tube GLHX(U-tube system) and a vertical double tube GLHX(double tube system), which were installed in a school building located in Cheonan. All systems were operated in a part load conditions for all day, and the maximum COP of the single U-tube system and the double tube system were 6.2 and 5.2 at cooling mode, respectively. The double tube GLHX designed by the GLHEPRO, commercial program, was estimated to have the same performance as the U-tube GLHX, because the inlet temperatures of each outdoor unit heat exchanger for the former was similar to the latter. However, it is needed to prove the long tenn performance. It is suggested that the new algorithms to control the flow rate of secondary fluid for GLHX according to load variation have to be developed in order to enhance the performance of the system.

  • Recently, small and medium-sized buildings have employed a multi-heat pump. The major benefits of the multi-heat pump over a conventional system are that it is easier system to maintain along with a diversification of facility use, and high comfortability. The performance of multi-heat pump systems can be enhanced by using geothermal energy instead of air source energy. This paper describes the multi-heat pumps applied in an ground source heat pump system for an actual building. The performance of a ground source multi-heat pump installed in the field was investigated in cooling mode. The maximum COP of the systems with single U-tube and double tube ground loop heat exchangers were 6.6 and 6.0, respectively. It is suggested that the new algorithms to control the flow rate of secondary fluid for ground loop heat exchanger have to be developed in order to enhance the performance of the system.

빙축열냉방시스템의 운전효율에 관한 조사연구 (Study and Survey of Operating Efficiency with Cool Storage System)

  • 우리나라에 보급된 축냉시스템 이용효율 향상과 전력사용 합리화 방안을 제시함으로써 빙축열 시스템의 보급활성화를 통한 하절기 피크부하 경감에 기여코자 빙축열 설비의 성능시험을 실시한 결과 COP주간 3.8, 축열 3.0대비 30% 이상 성능이 감퇴한 주간 2.6∼3.4, 축열 2.1∼3.0정도로 냉동기가 가동되고 있으며, 축열율은 15개 건물 중 3개 건물(21.4%)만이 축열능력 대비 40% 이상의 축열을 실시하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이처럼 운전성능 감퇴를 개선하기 위하여는 축냉(빙축열)설비 운전시 빈번히 발생하는 3-Way 밸브오동작, 냉각능력 감소, 팽창밸브 동작 부적절, 운전모드별 제어설정 오류 등에 의한 축냉능력 감퇴현상을 시정하고, 냉동기의 브라인배관 By-pass, Ice Slurry system운전모드별 배관분리, 냉온수펌프의 회전수제어 등의 배관계통 개선검토가 필요하며, 축냉(비축열) 시스템특징 별로는 Ice on Coil system은 냉방부하 확장성에 제약, Ice Ball system은 축열조의 수밀유지, Ice lens system의 제빙운전시 COP 저하, Ice Slurry system은 주간 운전시 저온운전에 따른 낮은 COP, Ice Harvest system은 Hot Gas 탈빙으로 동력손실증가 등에 대한 개선이 향후 축냉(빙축열)시스템의 운전성능 향상을 위해 필요한 것으로 도출되었다.

  • This paper describes the multi-heat pumps applied in an ground source heat pump system for an actual building. The performance of a ground source multi-heat pump installed in the field was investigated at heating season. The average COP of the systems with single U-tube and double tube type GLHXs were 4.8 and 5.0, respectively. It is needed to investigate the long term performance of double tube type GLHX, because the reduction of inlet temperature of OD HX for this GLHX was larger than it for U-tube GLHX.
